Ok, intended level up for Elinil (advice and comments appreciated)

HP = +8+2 con

Bard Feat : Inspire Competence (I would prefer to take Basic Sorcerer spellcasting here, but I don't think I can; I meet the pre-req's, but it's a feat 4. I'm also pretty sure that I can't delay the feat to take it later.)

Skill Feat : Bon Mot (the alternative is Intimidating Glare - there are many people who might take that in this party though. Does it stack?)

Elinil, I can recommend Sorcerer Dedication at 2nd then Basic Sorcerer Spellcasting at 4th, if you are looking to "unlock" the latent power of your blood, either deepening your access to the Occult Tradition, or expanding into Arcane, Divine, or Primal spells? Or, consider Basic Bloodline Spell (at 4th) to start looking into adding a Focus Spell from your Bloodline? Also, if you post more ideas about what you are trying to "do" with your character - Elinil's vision, if you will - I can throw you some more ideas...

I'm planning on taking Intimidating Glare. Little constrained on skill feats, as a fighter. I think Bon Mot is good.

I took Sudden Charge. There's some neat fighter feats that have to do with shielding, but they're tough to use in PBP, and Sudden Charge is a really good feat for action economy.

I just played in a game where the bard had Inspire Competence, and it was really useful.

I already have sorcerer dedication through Elf Atavism... But I think I am correct that I can't take Basic Sorcerer Spellcasting until 4th...

Yeah, you'll have to wait until then for that.

Been unable to get onto Paizo for several days. Getting caught up now.

Weird, still getting the error on Paizo site with Edge. Seems ok in chrome, so whatever.... post is up.

I'm struggling a bit with the handling of the Skald issue. On the one hand, it's part of Revna's character, and important to the player for consistency. On the other hand, if it's frustrating for half of the party, it's a problem for the campaign.

I'm not sure there's a solution I can come up with which would be satisfactory to all...

As GM your word is law. I am a bit annoyed as a player that it is only now being brought up, as it was something stated back in April before the game got running and none spoke out against it.

However if the character is so problematic I can bow out.

Thanks for running your best shot. I can firmly say I started with the best of intentions. Then the world changed, and I did my best to hang on, as I think we all did.

Revna, I really enjoyed our Skaldic shenanigans, even as they were a source of some contention, even as we were always diligent to leave spoilers. Your take on "learning Taldane" - both linguistically and culturally - was always an entertaining read!
