They get the drop on you. The second bramble-bush moves into the spaces if your front-liners, almost like a swarm, and uses its vines to try and trip you! This movement provokes ao if you can take an AOO while flat-footed, please feel free.

It trips anyone whose flat-footed CMD is 23 or less. They take 1 piercing damage and fall prone. I believe this gets V. as their flat-footed CMD looks to be 20 (however I might be missing an ability that lets them keep their Dex while flat-footed).
It then strikes at the leshy, doing 7 piercing damage; the leshy also begins ton bleed! 33 to hit flat-footed and possibly prone, 1 bleed at start of turn included in the initiative block.

Kirana emerges from the ground in her elemental form with the sound of stone grating on stone. Moments later the rocks and dirt seem to slough off her, her form simultaneously elongating to take her typical undine shape.
She draws her wand, expending two charges to close some superficial wounds, and says, "Well done. There is some impressive martial prowess amongst you all."

Ever his duty to be the life of a party, Viognier summons forth bubbly into an array of goblets.

Sayna prestidigitates the sap off of her sword. "I endeavor to be impressive at all times, especially when there are women around. So I am most glad that my efforts are succeeding." After a close look to ensure the blade is perfectly clean, she sheathes her sword. She takes a one of Viognier's goblets and holds it up to toast. "To an excellent mustering! The Ten do something right sometimes." She takes a sip and addresses Viognier. "My job was to train excellent troops, so I have a bit of professional pride to hold onto."

Narayan grins and ducks his head as far as his squat neck allows. "You are mosst graciouss, Kirana, Viognier." He looks a little baffled at how fighting could help Sayna be romantically impressive, but decides she's probably doing something right and moves on. "When the cause is jusst, heroism comes more freely."

Lazlo goes about merrily, tapping Melody (and anyone else who might need it) with his wand of infernal healing. Now, this won't hurt, he says, but it sometimes gives people a slight feeling of unease. But it goes away after about a minute...

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**
Shevar Besnik steps forward, his clothing ripped but a smile on his face. “Pathfinders! We’re almost to... well, the crater where Gallowspire once stood. Be sure you cut down any opposition; we don’t want them creeping down after us or blocking our exit!” Shevar raises a weapon and charges into battle.
With a final surge, the expeditionary force of Pathfinders finishes off the last of its foes. Shevar Besnik nods to Ollysta Zadrian, and the two lead the expedition to the edge of a massive crater. The crater’s sides are smooth and glassy, as if melted by an immense heat. Several passageways extend from the sides of the crater, many of them nearly blocked by tons of fallen earth. Ollysta Zadrian narrows her eyes and points at the bottom with her sword. “That way leads to the Catacombs, and beyond it the wards set up by the Whispering Tyrant. Steel yourselves,” she says, sheathing her weapon.

Everyone should be healed up by now. If not, please mark off charges on your wands. All your minute/per level stuff is gone at this point, after trekking through the jungle.
The crater lies just ahead. The sides are steep and uneven but seem to have some handholds. It's quite a long way down — too long for most rope.
If you cannot/ do not want to fly/air walk/etc, please make a climb check to get down.

After finishing her planned purchases Kirana approaches the group. "Allow me to draw from Gozreh's might to instill within you some influence over the air we breathe."
She communes with nature placing a hand on each member of the group. With that touch a protective air bubble, invisible but still perceived, surrounds each. Life Bubble. 4 hours each, with a bonus hour going to Narayan and Viognier.
The Undine adept reconnects with nature, this time placing her hand on Melody, Narayan, Sayna, and Viognier. Afterwards, they note that the air by their feet suddenly appears weighty, a substance that can be stepped on. "Think of the air before you as a part, or a set of stairs. This will help you to descend."
Air Walk on each. 30 minute duration, except for Melody who gets 20 minutes (sorry!)
Kirana finally pushes her mind, body, and soul beyond physical limits, her Undine shape transforming a wispy air elemental. " I am ready."

You make it down in 1 minutes and re-up your buffs.
The expedition reaches the bottom of the crater and moves into the passageway beyond, where Ollysta Zadrian stands in a half-collapsed chamber. A ball of light shines brightly in her hand, although its power seems dimmed by the oppressive atmosphere of the room. The walls are constructed entirely from the bones of thousands of humanoid creatures, fused together with unknown power. Pathfinders, it is time to make our way to the wards and move beyond them. Be cautious, and may the gods watch over you.
You move into the first chamber. Mounted on the walls here are numerous severed heads of a variety of magical creatures and beings, writhing in a mockery of life. At the opposite end of the room is a rickety construction of glass tubing, metal. A brain and two eyes float in this figure’s glass skull. Nearby is a shuddering mass of sludge and bones that seems to have formed from a mass of muddy grave soil.
They are both behind furniture, blocking charge lanes.

Completing the complex recitation, the scroll disintegrates in her hand. Seconds later, the polished staff that operated as the material component sprouts legs, then arms, and rapidly grows to a huge proportion. A treant-like creature stands before the undine druid now. It blinks, its solid blank eyes looking at the woman who conjured it. With a slow, ponderous cadence it says, "MISTRESS, YOU CALLED ME. HOW MAY I SERVE?"
Kirana points at the ooze. "That thing is an abomination to nature and threatens me. Destroy it if you can."
"AS YOU WISH," the treant rumbles, moving towards danger. Double move
