Okay I am pretty sure since Riff is a new character he has no down time right? Its been a while since I have played Organized and first time with 2E...

But, for my items: I want a healing potion, but since I am Spells 1 and Scrolls 2, does that mean I get 2 items? Sorry, the entry in the field guide doesn't seem to cover it.

Everyone has Downtime. You get a specific amount of days based on what sort of adventure you're in (for a scenario like this, 8). Most people use it to Earn Income, because anyone with a Lore skill can (so, everyone).

In terms of items, you only get 2 if you put all of your points in one school. You can pick from the All-Schools, Scrolls, and Spells lists.

8 days of success + 4 days of fail = 0.44gp

I don't think it makes a huge difference since I already rolled a nat 20 on my earned income check, but I accidentally forgot to account for my increased level. My Lore proficiency bonus is +4 instead of +3 so the final result is 24 instead. Alias is all updated now.

Sorry, I was just prepping things a bit. We are missing one, though. It was someone I entered in myself because they wanted a game, so they might not know yet or just be out.

I'll PM them and the waitlisted player and see what comes of it. Will also set the scene a little shortly.

I don't really understand the system with the schools and the downtime.It is the first time I have downtime.

With Downtime, you get 8 in-game days (at least, for scenarios like this) to make some money doing a day job or the like. As an alchemist, you might craft items later on. But for now, you just Earn Income using certain skills (for you, Crafting or a Lore). Just roll one of those and I'll calculate how much you make after the adventure.

For Schools, you can opt out and be a field-commissioned agent. That just gives you more Downtime days and weaker free items than others get. Choosing schools gives you 3 points to spread however you wish among Scrolls, Spells, and Swords. I can break down the tiers of rewards there for you, but it'd mostly be copy-paste and paraphrasing.

Also, if you could put your character sheet information into your profile, that'd be helpful. I'm not so sure about your stats - odd numbers aren't possible at this level, as far as I know.

So when I invest 2 points in the scrolls school, so when I ever achieve 5 lvl I can invest in an extra feat. Right?

As an item I take a Sunrod.

As downtime activity I choose Earn Income

I'm imagining you mean how to know your modifier. If you mean how to format it here for PbP, you make the roll by using the [dice] tags. If you look at the bottom of this page of the box where you fill your text, you'll see a section that says "How to format your text". I recommend you test it here so you can see how it works.

If you're referring to how to know your modifier, if you're Earning Income with lore, it's a 1d20 + your Int mod + your level + your proficiency modifier.

For example, Vilkik has a +1 Int mod and is Trained in Scouting Lore. That means that her modifier is:

+1 Int + 1 level + 2 from Trained = +4

That would be a total modifier of +4, so I'd roll a 1d20 +4.

In your case, Grumzuk is level 1 + Int mod +4 + Trained +2 = +7

Riff, I was peeking at your sheet before I inspired an you may want to take a look at your feat/muse selection. Your sheet says Maestro, but versatile performance requires Polymath.

I'm not too big on forcing everyone to go in exact order, nor are most other GMs. It would slow things down too much for barely any gain. I just let the bolded people post and usually resolve their actions in the initiative order, unless there's something particularly cinematic otherwise.

So Sun Fire Boom Boom has acted, once Riff posts I will make another showing their results and what the Purple fey do. Then Vilkik, Magnus, and Grumzuk can post, and so on.

When you've got groups of PCs in initiative they could largely delay to rearrange themselves as desired. There's occasional weirdness with short term buffs but is generally resolvable in a sensible way.

The one bit where it's particularly problematic in 2e is reactions, since you can't take them while delaying. Most of them react to enemies so it's fine but things like Goblin Scuttle that react to an ally's movement can cause issues.

Typically, yes. If one doesn't post after prompting (in my book about 2 days, less for many others), I won't have much recourse but to bot their action myself. I really don't like doing that, but I should get more comfortable with it. Some of my games have run on in unenjoyable ways because of it.

So within a few hours I will bot Riff's action so others can act while I'm at work. It'll likely be Telekinetic Projectile and Goblin Song, as we already have Inspire Courage.

That's how much HP you have lost. Now that you healed 6, it will be -4 in my next post. The fey will choose not to damage Sun Fire, so I'll change that too.

Also, I forgot there would be reactions involved. Is it safe to assume you'll be using Glimpse of Redemption at the first possible opportunity each round? If so, that'll save some time and keep retcons from needing to happen.
