Smiler ducks under Charlie's arrow, but a moment later a slightly sickened Goliath comes back into the fight!

Dendillion runs around the long way as the battle rages.

Haldan shouts some of his groceries. Crit fail means Sickened 1 and SLOWED 1, so no HotA. He still pulls off his spell REF: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27. Smiler almost dodges the entire spell, but gets caught by some of it. It's enough, "Smiler" shakes and shudders form the spell and drops to the ground in a smoking and putrefied pile.

The other two look at each other, and redouble, knowing that no quarter will be offered.

Chark doesn't think she's been exposed to any undead diseases, but finds her body locking up like Goliath's had done.

Unable to see anymore Charlie lowers his bow and runs into the room. He watches as Goliath begins to move more and more, taking some time for his muscles to loosen up completely.

Charlie and Goliath reposition for the fight to come as Tiny strikes hard twice at the undead monster. While it make lack blood, the strike 1d20 ⇒ 3 stuns it a bit!

Healed up and ready to go, the party returns to the main hallway.

This wide hall leads into the cliff face at an angle. A double door at the west end of the room is carved from blue and green marble and depicts a magnificent abstract pattern that evokes both the wind of a tornado and the water of a whirlpool. The handles are green-enameled metal leaves, each bearing a drop of water. Smaller doors lead out of this hall to the north and south directions. You have just returned from the north.

With that Charlie and Goliath move to the set of double doors and begins pushing them open. "L..l..let's take a look."

As Charlie pushes on the door, a powerful female voice emerges from the otherside, "NOW my pet! Bathe in the blood of the heretics!"

Charlie finishes the opening the door, reveling a room of an entirely different look than the previous areas. This magnificent gallery glows with light from magical spheres set into eight twisting pillars that stretch from the floor to the ceiling twenty feet above. That ceiling depicts a cloudy, storm-tossed sky with remarkable realism. The floor is covered with mosaic tiles that portray the depths of the ocean, complete with coral reefs, seaweed beds, and schools of fish. Corridors lead away from the gallery to the north and south, and the hall ends in a massive bronze double door sculpted in a fantastic diorama of animals of all kinds: fish swimming in the sea, beasts walking the earth, and birds soaring in the sky.

The voice is coming from a wide-eyed and crazed looking hermit. Her "pet" is the same kind of vermlek demon that inhabited the bodies of the Lindell brothers.
