The party stops 5ft away from the door. Dendillion moves to the front of the party and checks the door for traps.

The wounds which appear on Goliath are not only deep, but jagged and ripped. Goliath takes a –3 status penalty to CHA, which remains even if the wounds are healed. The penalty is reduced by 1 every 24 hours until it reaches 0.

The fiend appears only moderately wounded, so Charlie and Goliath opt for a defensive retreat!

Haldan starts humming a tune the sounds very melodic. His voice is magically enhanced as it sounds much more off key when he’s humming his morning tunes. The magic leaves his lips and heads towards the creature.

Huh, AFAICT, demons and fiends don't have specific traits concerning their resistances and immunities. So.... Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Haldan weaves a spell and the fiend falls asleep, still standing, with an awful snore!

Man, Poor Charlie has casts spells in multiple campaigns, and I never fail to resist. Haldan just knocked out a freaking demon with a sleep spell.

Haldan's card goes right down the throat of the fiend! His mouth and face catch fire, making it even scarier than before!

Greviously injured, and barely holding on to its grasp on this plane, the fiend lashes out wildly, knowing that it's likely it's last chance to ruin things on the accursed Prime Material: 3d2 ⇒ (2, 1, 1) = 4. It claws savagely first at Tiny, then turning towards Chark. Once Chark goes down, he turns back to Tiny.

While someone needs to stem the blood loss out of Chark, the party scores a tremendous victory! Each earns 110 XP.

"Nine bloody Hells, that was a violent mess," Dendillion curses, frustrated by the battle but thankful he's alive. "Let me watch over Chark while the rest of you search the area. The least I can do do is write an ode to her heroics."

For the next ten minutes Dendillion plays through several different chord progressions, adlibing words as he goes along. Eventually he stops, naming the lively tune Demons Make Bad Altar Boys.

Nearly everything of value in the chapel has been destroyed or defaced. The golden scales are worth 20 gp, and the quasit left behind a crying angel pendant.
