The sound of combat allows you a general direction, so your can move into one of the three squares in front of you towards the combat (randomly chosen) and it takes 10' of movement to do so. Regongar, you will be at the edge after that so you can move normally from there.

EDIT: actually, Harrim is at the edge so he could move out.

Btw, you know that when you cast Ashen Path you can target multiple people? It just divides the total duration evenly among your targets.

Well the Gusting Sphere which Reg placed directly in front of himself,

A) should have cleared the Mist out of that square semi-immediately
B) given that Reg is directly behind it, he would be able to see the Sphere itself at a minimum, and probably anyone entering it

GM Ruling: given that the Sphere was in play prior to the Mist, and that Reg should be able to see it and direct it, said direction can be "move forward 30'" and the sphere would do that literally, not blindly, correct? allowing Reg to follow it hopefully as well

Yes, I forgot about the sphere, so the hex in front of you is clear and with that you can see the edge of the mist, so you can move normally, you could move first then direct the sphere wherever you want.

The mist/ashen path is a great combo, next time you might want to make everyone part of the ashen path as both Octavia an Faerin can cast it.

moving through fog doesn't take extra movement, You can see enough 5ft around you to move. I know generally what was in front of me and where. It does however keep me from doing anything but moving this turn either way...

Yes, I cast it on Faerin as well as myself. I didn’t think anyone else would be staying in the cloud and I didn’t want to reduce the duration too much.

Ah, I thought Faerin had cast it herself as well. However, the cool thing about ashen path is that even if you cast it on six people the minimum time is still 10 minutes each.

You hear a loud roar and the gate to the pen bangs open. Stepping out is a large Owlbear and it immediately weighs into the fray. It moves and attacks K gang F1.

A couple of things. First, no sneak attack damage from ranged attacks unless you are within 30' of the target. Second, in order to use Intimidate to demoralize, the target must be able to see you. However, it doesn't matter as you used an acid attack which makes him shaken anyhow.

Auchs rushes by Akiros and Akiros uses his deception to make an AoA as Auchs passes.

"Pyros! Do you want me to levitate you up to the ledge? You can take clean shots and I will Magic Missile him until I can't anymore."

He is held in place, now is a good chance to strike if you can, I cannot say for how long the magic will hold! As even magic turns to dust in the end!

Reg will levitate until Pyros can stand on the ledge, knowing Pyros will take care of the horizontal movement he needs.

If you levitate Pyros where he is now, he will hit his head on the ledge. Also, there is no way to get to the Stag Lord from where he is as the ledge does not cross the doorway. So let me know if you are doing something else instead of holding, Pyros.

that was the "knowing Pyros will take care of the horizontal movement he needs" part ...
was only a guess, but from his response, I was figuring Pyros would know to raise his hands while lifted, know to pull himself to the edge, know to step up and over while he was still buoyant, and draw his bow
or the idea wouldn't have been a good idea

I’m on mobile and can’t work Roll20. Can someone move me to the square directly ‘down’ from the Stag Lord? (I’m assuming I could step diagonally into the free space to the right of him. If that won’t work, put me to the right of R2.)

I looked at your character sheet, how is it 29?

OK, he needs to move to the spot where you will levitate him, as he did. What you are describing would not be normal movement and would probably make him flatfooted while doing so. Also, all of this is moot until Pyros makes his Will save.

Will save for ... ? I feel like we're talking about another spell.

No disrespect to Pyros, but I'm feeling he is in the "Willing Creature" classification. I do not see any reference to a Will roll and it isn't an opposed action ... since he's willing, right?

I rolled a d3 to see if the cleric targeted Pyros, Regongar, or Harrim, I rolled a "1," so he targeted Pyros.

I have the spell- Ironskin up atm. Also, just to add to the levitate spell- you can freely move horizontally if you have a means to propel yourself. In this case, either pulling via the wall, or jumping across. Or, he could simply run to the side the SL is on, then levitate up to the edge and step over. If he makes the will save.

Ahh, forgot about the ironskin....
And yes, that was exactly what I was saying, but it would be better to move to the spot as he did than to fumble around trying to use the wall and such to cross the distance to the Stag Lord. This way he also gets an attack this round.

Eyes skipping back and forth across the battlefield, Faerin assesses her targets, hoping to take out an enemy to give their side an advantage. after a few moments, she sends another ball of flame streaking out of the fog at the owlbear.
