[dice=Turret vs Neon Ten KAC 25]1d20+14
[dice=Miss chance; low is good]1d100
[dice=Damage (Piercing)] 7d6
Low most certainly wasn't good!
:)Not that it mattered with the way you rolled, but shouldn't I have had cover from the cradle given my position and that of the turret?
Since you mentioned it as an option, what would be required for the Computers or Engineering check?
Hacking normally takes several rounds, so I would expect to be down before I cracked the computer. I could pop the HD Datajack from my check and connect through the cradle, but I was expecting the computers check would take too long.
Would I need to get out the Engineering Tools and move to the turret in order to disable it, so nothing could happen before next round?
Trying to find a good tactical option since my initial solution did nothing for me.
GM Tyranius

This isn't so much of a full hack. So you could use your datajack and give a computers check to disable the turret for your actions for the round.
As for engineering, you would need to be next to the turret. you would not need your tools as you are basically finding a way to remove or jam up the ammunition.
Your fog cloud did manage the 50% miss chance! Though went bad on the first hit unfortunately.
Neon Ten
|
Thanks, that is what I needed to know. Computers seems the best answer right now.
As for the fog, I was hoping the turret wouldn’t have any way of knowing which square I was in. That is why I did the stealth check and moved after the fog gave me full concealment from the turret.

Yup, unfortunately it's tracking was based on proximity and not perception.

I will be at a local convention all weekend.
I will do my best to still get in at least one post per day, but feel free to bot me if need be.
Neon Ten

It isn’t clear to me if there are any walls on any of the raised areas — the one that the two androids are on or either of the two to each side.
Is there someplace to get cover?
GM Tyranius
|
Those are more railings than walls. I would think partial cover for that.
GM Tyranius
|
Apologies, will get a post up tomorrow. Had to drive across the state today.
Neon Ten
|
Shouldn’t Neon Ten be at 7 RP because of the Alter Terrain? Or did you decide it wasn’t needed and therefore did not cost the resolve?
Either answer is fine by me. Just wanted to point it out in case you missed it.
GM Tyranius
|
Yup, you should be at 7 due to using the alter terrain. Thanks!
Neon Ten

The electrical discharge strikes the stone wall just ahead.
Given the description, I just want to make sure the creature wasn’t given cover.
Neon Ten has Shot on the Run so he would have shot while running towards the wall. There shouldn’t have been any cover and the creature was hopefully flat footed against him because of Atticus,
Sorry if the use of Shot on the Run wasn’t clear.
GM Tyranius
|
Nope, you just didn't hit it's Flat-footed EAC was all.

If anyone has any day job rolls now is the time to finish them. I will work on getting the chronicles out this evening.
Also everyone please roll a single D20 below to see if you have won a boon.
GM Boom: 1d20 ⇒ 8 No boon
Neon Ten
|
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Please apply to my chronicle Dataphiles Digital Presence Tier 2.
Remember I slotted Social: Budding Media Celebrity, +5 to Day Job making new total 26
Atticus Finch
|
I got a 22 for my day job roll, Atticus is tier 3 with the acquisitives so with the known quality boon he should get 132 credits I think.
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 19
GM Tyranius

Chivix Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Here are your chronicles. Please look them over for any errors so that I can get them fixed for you ASAP.
Working my way to reporting the game now.

Please apply Digital Presence for Tier 2.
You work to propagate a thriving digital community.
Prerequisites: Dataphiles Tier 1
Cost: 0 Fame (see below)
Benefit: If you complete a scenario that you played online, such as by using a virtual tabletop or a play-by-post format, you earn 1 additional Fame and 1 additional Reputation with the Dataphiles faction (regardless of whether you have the Dataphiles Champion Faction boon slotted for that scenario).
Special: You can benefit from this boon only a number of times equal to your current Reputation Tier with the Dataphiles faction (maximum four total times at Reputation Tier 4). Each time you fulfill the requirements of this boon, mark it on your Chronicle sheet along with the associated Reputation Tier. Have the GM sign beside this notation.

[dice=Boon]1d20
Does this win me a boon? I think someone on another table won one with a 19.
Also the PDF says there is a problem with the signature panel and will not let me save it.
I also think my day job result should be 132 credits with the boon. I get 44 credits multiplied by my acquisitives tier of 3.
GM Tyranius
|
A 19 does win! Please PM me your email address
Boon Won: 1d3 ⇒ 1 Heavy Solar Cannon
Also yup, you are right, they did fix that multiplier from the 1.0 guide. Check you chronicle again.
