Father Urzaia Conflict |
The priest grins, while sheathing Clarity and pulling out his axe.
I would, but Mivvy also makes a fair point.
Mivvy Hetherington |
Mivvy looks over the woman, "If you are sincere, we will arrange a duel in Cassomir, on neutral ground. But we will not halt in our quest to rescue our kidnapped friends."
GM Worg |
Charm Person, DC 17 Will. Racial spell-like. c:
Feeling a sensation of friendship wash over her and being thoroughly resisted, the lady grimaces. "And here I thought you would be more honorable than tricks." When hearing Urzaia will accept the challenge, the corner of her mouth moves up in a smirk.
"Let us move to the other room to properly battle."
Kasumi the Vexatious |
"And here I thought you would be more honorable than tricks."
"A common mistake, but in your defense, you just met me," points out Kasumi, grinning widely and wiggling her fingers and tails in sheepish glee.
Once they get all situated to have their duel, Kasumi does her best to find a spot to stand that's out of the way and not particularly visible to the mystery woman. Situated thusly, she raises her gloved hands to her lips, wiggling her fingers and bouncing on her heels, tails waving behind her.
She's casting a spell!
She's casting a spell!
Urzaia will suddenly be much lighter on his feet than he looks as he benefits from Haste! (Technically, so will everyone else in the party.)
If your spell has a somatic component, any creature that can see you receives a Perception or Spellcraft check (whichever has the highest bonus) against a DC equal to 15 + your number of ranks in Sleight of Hand + your Dexterity modifier; the creature gains a bonus on its check equal to the level of the spell or spell-like ability you are concealing. Since you are concealing the spell’s manifestation through other actions, others observing you realize you’re doing something, even if they don’t realize you’re casting a spell. If there is a verbal component, they still hear your loud, clear voice but don’t notice the spell woven within. If an opponent fails its check, your casting also does not provoke attacks of opportunity, and an opponent that fails its check can’t use readied actions that depend on realizing that you’re casting a spell or using a spell-like ability, or readied actions such as counterspelling that require identifying the spell you’re casting. Spells such as fireball that create an additional obvious effect (aside from the manifestation of casting that all spells and spell-like abilities share) still create that effect, though it might not be obvious who cast the spell unless it emanates from you.
If a character interacts with you long enough to attempt a Sense Motive check without realizing you have been casting spells, that character can use Sense Motive to gain a hunch that you’re behaving unusually.
Father Urzaia Conflict |
Would Urzaia be able to pray on the way (cast buff spells). If so, how many rounds does he have?

Suddenly, the GM a venedaemon teleports on the southern end of the landing. "Your delicious souls will quench my agony." It says in a guttural voice.

"Swiggity swooty, fall on your booty!"
Stumble Gap, DC16 Reflex where the antipally's standing, that ground is gonna be wobbly for 7 rounds.
Rondolpho Keene |
Which slide are we using? #8 is not working for me for some reason. Is there any room that I can cast Create Pit and just get the antiPaladin? If so, I’d try to do that with a DC 16 Reflex to avoid. If not, I’d use a magic missile and do 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2, 2) + 3 = 10 damage to the Antipaladin.
Mivvy Hetherington |
I can’t move my lawn on the slide. It keeps choosing the anti-paladin. Would someone e step Mivvy 5ft to the left?

Her tentacles are now suddenly stuck together. If eyes were on that face, they would be widening with terror. Rather than be captured, she decides to jump off the balcony and make a break for it. Her cloak suddenly gets snagged onto the balcony, and she waves her arms to slip from it. Once she is detached, she begins to flee.
If you want to chase her, we can engage in that. Otherwise, going to call this one. Up to you guys.
Quicksand Cloak
Shoulders Slot
Faint Transmutation
Weight 4lbs
The exterior of the cloak is an extradimensional space filled with water and sand. Each time a creature of the wearer's size or smaller attempts to grapple the wearer, it must succeed at a DC 15 Reflex save or fail at the attempt and be engulfed by quicksand (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 42 7). Every round it's trapped in the extradimensional space, the trapped creature must make a Swim check (DC 15) to climb out, landing prone adjacent to the wearer. Crawling out doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity from the wearer, but does provoke from others. A creature that fails its Swim check by 5 or more submerges and begins to drown. A creature that succeeds at the initial save grapples the wearer normally, and doesn't need to save again unless the wearer escapes and the creature tries to grapple the wearer again.
A quicksand cloak left on the ground behaves as a patch of quicksand filling one 5-foot square, and swimming out works the same. Others may use aid another to help a creature trapped in the cloak, as though the creature were grappled.
A quicksand cloak of any size can contain only one creature at a time; a creature attempting to grapple the wearer while the cloak already contains a body is not affected by the cloak.
Rondolpho Keene |
Spellcraft 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Keene doesn’t chase the fleeing enemy. He does grab the fine looking cloak, however. After checking it for magic, he tells the others. ”This cloak is amazingly cool! I’ve never seen one before. A quicksand cloak!”
