Play both! There will only be three scenarios available on Launch Day. One of them is a replayable evergreen. A fourth PFS2 scenario will be the L5 special which uses pregens. After that they will have two scenarios a month published unless they ramp it up a bit which they have indicated they might do for a few months. There's just not going to be enough content to do PFS2 only for a lot of gamers.
That's good though. That allows people to play both sets of rules. There are almost 500 PFS1 sessions possible counting all the sanctioned content out there. There's no reason not to play both editions. I fully expect to run both sets for at least three years before our live events start to move away from PFS1.

I'll give my perspective on it. The precise numbers are probably a little meta-gamy, but could be roleplayed out pretty well, but knowing if another PC is alive really depends on how rules-lawyery someone wants to be. My thoughts are you could easily see signs of breathing, active blood flowing out of wounds, low moans and groans, things like that without a perception/heal check. I don't believe RAW is with me on this, but I'd have to re-read the CRB to be sure one way or another.

If you're at -7 with a 14 Con you have a bit to go. :)

My general rule is this: even a semi-intelligent creature with enough brains for self preservation won't stop to eat a downed opponent if there are other threats around. PFS leadership has also stated that unless a creature's tactics specifically call for coup-de-grace or ignoring threats to keep attacking a downed opponent, GMs should not.
As for identifying whether someone is dying or dead, I'm generally fairly generous for PCs. I might be less so for NPCs.

Moria, I just noticed the "Moria Raging" and "Moria Fatigued" alternate avatars. That's dedication to the character there. ;-)

^.^ It's particularly helpful to keep track of all the skill and attack modifier changes that I'll go between fairly regularly, as well as keep track of how many rounds I actually spend in a rage. I also keep 3 different PDF character sheets for easy reference as well. Although thank you software for making that easy to generate

Are we going to have this completed before July 31st? It's been fun, but we do seem to be dragging a bit time wise. I don't really mind that, but when Gen Con gets here I'm going to be out of action for six days. Plus I've got a busy schedule the last two weeks of July with QuinCon 34 which I'm organizing the OP for and then prep for Gen Con where I'm running 8 sessions of PF2.

We have had a couple of times when things slowed down a bit. You still have a couple of major encounters ahead of you, so whether we finish in four weeks depends on how quickly everyone (including myself) is able to post.

Looks like we will be sojourning together again, Seebonickk for GameDay VIII.

And that concludes the adventure. I will get your chronicles together later this morning.
Thanks for a very entertaining run, all!

Wow, I had no idea we were into seven-digit numbers now.
And I had forgotten about Core. I redid yours, Seebonick. Anyone else need me to stamp theirs?
| GM Rinaldo |
Seebonickk and Flaith, when I tried to report the game, your characters came up as non-Core, so the game probably won't show up online. I think you can email Customer Service to fix that.

Mine is missing my Day job roll. Otherwise, mine's great.
Redone, with 20gp Day Job added.
