Kymani couldn't help but chuckle. "Perhaps another time. We should keep moving."

Continuing west, you conclude your second hour of exploration and come to the edge of the island. Finding nothing but a desolate rocky beach.

You are now in B6. There is more of the island to the south. Square C6 and C7, But would have to cross back into B8 in order to explore C9

"I don't expect much different from the southward side of this chunk of island protruding out here," Cato says wiping the sweat from his brow, "But let's keep moving along the coast."

C6 it is then.

Moving south you notice a steady up slope to the terrain. Another 20 minutes brings you to the southern coast of the peninsula. You are atop a 50’ cliff overlooking a narrow rock strewn beach below.

Preception DC 15:
You notice a small 3 foot wide ledge that adjoins little cave entrance. This is 10’ down the cliff face. Sticks and other detritus litter the ledge. A squeaking / hissing sound can be heard from the cave.

A sudden flash of movement attracts your attention . Two 3’ long ‘lizard birds with 5’ wingspans fly up from below and circle about the sky above your heads Hissing angrily.

Know Nature DC 16:
The creature is a Dimorphodon commonly known a “Fang Bird” the are very territorial and they have a poisonous bite.

Z6 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4 2 damage

Wow! Hot zombie save rolls

Jask's action is less effective than he hoped for. Causing only the easternmost to fall.

Sasha, wild-eyed and wearing a maniacal grin. Starts to step forward, but Ky’s words restrain her. Swaying slightly from side to side she tightens her grip on the Kukri, ready to strike.

Sasha readys attack:

ready attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 - 2 = 4
damage if hit: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3

Ishirou steps up beside Zerek, Holding his Katana at the ready in both hands, nodding to the Gnome.

Ishirou’s ready attack:

ready attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 1 = 23
damage if hit: 1d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13

Aerys takes aim with her longbow and lets fly an arrow at the Zombie directly ahead of her.

Longbow attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 1 = 23
arrow damage if hit: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Noting her attack had no visible effect on the zombie she drops the bow and raises her Cestus covered fists.

Gelik continues to perform comedy (round 2/9) and steps back firing his short bow at the same Zombie Aerys attacked.

shortbow: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 = 19
arrow if hit: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Gelik comes to the same conclusion as Aerys and drops his bow as well. Intending to draw his longsword next.

The Zombies lurch forward.

The westernmost steps up to Ishirou and his hit by the readied Katana attack. Which neatly bisects the creature. It collapses in a messy heap.

One manages to reach Jask and swings an arm at the Cleric.

Z attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Missing!

Sasha fails to connect with a zombie in front of her.

Ky’s ready attack also misses its mark and she nearly drops her weapon.

Grinning, Cato mutters, "'Pretty boy,'" in an exaggerated silly, teasingly mocking impression of Ky's voice. Her suggestion is a good one in his mind as the battle line looked sparse ahead of Gelik. He moves to fill the gap between Jask and Sasha and swings at one of the undead before Jask.

Cato goes to swing at another Zombies head but burst into laughter at the last moment when one of the gnome's punchlines catches him unexpectedly and he fails to follow through on his swing. "Gelik, why did you not tell anyone aboard Jenivere that you were this funny?"

It seems unlikely the 10 might hit, but who knows, they're Zombies. If it does he is attacking the one to his left. He then takes a 5 ft step to the right giving Sasha a flank.

The blow was enough to knock Kymani to her knee. Once hand managed to hold onto her pike while the other went to the ground to steady her. Her vision was filled with shadow and stars, until she felt the warmth of the positive energy knit some of her wounds back together. She glanced up to see Jask standing beside her. With a nod of thanks, she stood, hoping her legs would not fail her.

Her free hand, still covered in a mix of sand and grass, grasped her pike again as she sent it low towards the remaining zombie's legs.
