Rod of Seven Parts

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Does Pathfinder have this or an equivalent ?

A search on this site didn't bring up anything for pathfinder.

Thank you for your time.

My bet is that this historical D&D artifact/relic was not covered by the OGL, and that it won't be found in any form or flavour in PF... My memory may be faulty, but I don't see PF meddling with this level of artifact.

The Sihedran (sp?) Star is probably the closest... covered in the Shattered Star AP

IIRC, the Rod of Seven Parts is set up so that each part functions as a magic item on its own, and when multiple parts are assembled, additional powers are unlocked. I seem to recall there also being a few negative consequences associated with it, as was often the case with earlier edition artifacts.

If you get a listing of the powers from an earlier edition of D&D, it shouldn't be too difficult to port that over to Pathfinder. Plus, it'll create a long-term quest for greedy players to pursue.

The Shattered Star looks good, thank you for the responses.
