I'm working on the speech, but today is a really busy workday so it might be awhile before I can get it up. In the meantime, which judge to target?

![]() |

depends on your speech.
If its an emotional or descriptive speech, then Tchekua
If its full of facts and such, then 10thx3rd
Zahal seems the wild card... though perhaps avoid him if talking about the tapestry's power source. =)
Don't go too verbose, or there's less stuff to incorporate in later speeches! =)

![]() |

I hope I kept it short enough to not steal from future arguments.
If anyone has a story about encounters with the denizens of the Tapestry, this would be a good check to bring them out for I think. I believe Matt said that in general the Tapestry adventures are well documented in the PF Chronicles, so can recount even if this PC didn't participate.

GM MattMorris |

That's correct. You can refer to any Tapestry adventure, even if this character didn't participate in it. The details of all of them are well-known among Pathfinders at this point.

![]() |

So who's going to do it?
Short list of skills, no one has perform (so it'd be just a charisma check)
Which leaves Diplomacy and K:Local
Which I think puts me at the highest bonus then, at +15 (on the diplo)
If our goal is to go with the best option each time, that is.
I'll work something up. =)

![]() |

I say keep going with highest while we have the options and rack up as many wins as we can.

![]() |

Hmm... planes, religion, spellcraft.
If we want a new witness, that puts it to Felwyn I think, with her +5 K:planes (+10 due to it being a strong skill, minus planar penalties, etc.).
Otherwise, we'd have to double up on a witness, and incur whatever penalty that entails.
Though, given Strang follows a god of death, and specializes in necromancy... it seems like a question I should be addressing.

![]() |

Yeah, I think the -4 penalty for the second time you speak could at least be partially offset by RP bonus given your speciality. I say go for it.

![]() |

I can't believe I brought this character to this scenario. Have literally nothing to contribute.

![]() |

I feel bad that Antonaides is hung up in Prestige - he and Heccan would be quite the duo.

![]() |

They really would make a great 1st and 2nd chair for any firm focusing on inter-planar litigation

GM MattMorris |

Yes, sorry about the lack of pummeling in this one. I think you guys have made up for it in intra-party banter.

![]() |

How about Felwyn this go around with a +7 Sense Motive?

![]() |

I was under the impression he could do both. GM?

GM MattMorris |

Yes, Heccan can do both. (He hasn't needed to make any objections so far, due to the successful rolls.)

![]() |

Sorry, got caught up with work stuff
I am happy to take a crack at sense motive
Any thoughts on which judge to address? Seems like they all have been addressed at least once

![]() |

I've just been aiming at the one that raised the point in the first place.
In this case, that'd be 10thx3rd.
But really, depends on the argument you come up with.
If its emotional, aim for the bird guy, if its logical, the sphere... the dragon, I'm not sure what his preferences are.

![]() |

Huzzah for getting Intimidate on the final round. Closing arguments to Dravakuul!

GM MattMorris |

We're pretty close to wrapping up here if you all want to do boon rolls and day job checks.
For the boon rolls, it's roll 1d20 and win on a 19 or 20. If you win, roll 1d4 to see what boon you get.
boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 15

![]() |

boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Thanks to Matt for running and to everyone for a good group. Heccan and Dr. Strang, you knocked it out of the park.

GM MattMorris |

Here are the chronicle sheets!
(Tim if you fill in your character details I'll get yours up as well and get this thing reported.)

Boon!: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Not today...Thanks everyone for an interesting adventure, and the GM for running it quite well. Good luck to all in your further exploits!

GM MattMorris |

Hmm... I was going to be scribing some spells from Chabon, do those need to be recorded on the chronicle?
Opinions differ on that, but if you want to list what you are scribing, I'll update your chronicle.

![]() |

OK!
Scribing the following spells from Chabon.
Can take a 10 (for a 26) on Spellcraft and make the check on all (including the opposition ones).
Level 1: hold portal
Level 2: acid arrow
Level 3: blink, displacement, wind wall
Level 4: dimensional anchor, communal protection from energy, greater invisibility, lesser globe of invulnerability
Level 5: baleful polymorph, break enchantment, cone of cold, fire snake, feeblemind, summon monster V
10*1 = 10 gp
40*1 = 40 gp
90*3 = 270 gp
160*4 = 640 gp
250*6 = 1500 gp
Total: 2460 gp scribing costs
________________
And, this scenario put me at level 12.
Guess I'm on hold now... =P

Done, Matt. Thanks for GM'ing.

Chronicle updated! If you are looking for high-level content, I'd recommend The Rasping Rebirth. I think it's the most fun of the seeker-level stuff. I also liked the "All for Immortality" series.

Wow, great run folks. Really had a blast with this scenario, great group. Thanks a for running Matt, excellent table!
Edit: Just noticed the sheet did not include day job roll. Think it was posted in the slide. Ok to add it on?

Fixed for you. Sorry about that!
