@GM How many HD do the bandits have? The class feature he's using is excerpted below for reference. It's not an evil act, and he sees it as a service to Pharasma to both study the death as it occurs and to usher the dying across the threshold, similar to the character Stark from Farscape.
Consume Life: By wresting a soul from life to death, a twilight sage gains a slightly deeper understanding of mortality, fueling her curiosity and eldritch power. As a full-round action, she can consume the life energy of a helpless living creature, killing it. This creature must have 2 or more Hit Dice and be below 0 hit points. The twilight sage adds 2 points to her arcane reservoir if the creature’s Hit Dice equaled or exceeded the sage’s character level, or 1 point if the creature’s Hit Dice equaled at least 1/2 her character level. This ability is a death effect. This ability replaces consume spells.
They've got 2 HD so you're good.

@Baijiu - I just realized I never did answer your question! I'm not sure which domain power you've got (couldn't find it on your profile sheet) but:
Rage (Ex) - "While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration."
I believe that basically all cleric domain abilities activate with either a standard or swift action so unless it's something that would require you to actually concentrate on maintaining then I'm inclined to say that yes, you can activate it while raging.
Having run this scenario before, I recall the deal with this room. Doc is going to have to be quiet here for a bit to avoid spoilers & meta.

It's a little early but I finally got my work schedule for the month and wanted to note the following now:
I'll be out of town at a convention April 13th & 14th. Given the nature of conventions I likely won't be checking in or posting at all except for maybe quick notes in Discussion if necessary.
(Hopefully I'll have us finished before the second set of dates below but just in case...)
I'll also be out of town April 22nd - April 24th. For this I will have my chromebook and should be able to check in and make some posts in the evenings before bed.

Thanks for letting us know, Woodenman. Hopefully everything will be okay but in the meantime I'm happy to bot Redelia; we're almost done with the scenario so it won't affect her chronicle if she isn't able to return for awhile.
...and that's it! Congratulations on completing the scenario! I hope that everyone has enjoyed themselves and thank you again for bearing with me on the slow pace. Apologies for the big posts there at the end but I know several of you have been busy lately and while I normally don't like to rush the denouement of a scenario I figured it'd be best in this case so I can turn you all loose.
I think all of you have posted your Day Jobs and relevant chronicle information (most of you on the first page and I see Korivan's Day Job roll further up on this one). While I'll aim to get your chronicles done later tonight I'm also working tonight so it might not be until tomorrow. Either way, I'll have them to you as soon as I can!
Last of all, if there was anything about the scenario as presented that was unclear or confusing in any way, please feel free to let me know. It obviously won't help you guys but if several people happen to have found a certain section confusing then I can work on the presentation and hopefully make it clearer the next time I run the scenario.

My Good Lady, you've outdone yourself again! Those closing posts were so well written and really wrapped up and explained all the loose ends. There's lots of Boons that end up on chronicles without any in game exposition. But the way you handled both Gamin and Sulianna's Boons was inspired. Nicely done!
Don't feel bad for doing those (huge!) closing posts. After beating the dragon, once we established that we were entering the circle and healing her, there's not much that the players have to provide input on. Good call on just closing it all out.
The only confusing part for me was the whole "she grants a PC the ability to cast banishment." I was confused (and had forgotten) how that would work. How do I, a level 4 caster, overcome his SR and beat his ungodly saves? Why doesn't she just cast it? I went back and reread the scenario only to find that it was indeed all handwaved. So, again, good call on your part just picking the most appropriate PC and making it happen.
As always, this was very enjoyable. You GM very well, and it was a fun and interesting party. Thanks everyone!
And I think I'm going to leave Gameplay as it is. I considered doing a closing post for Doc, but I like how Baiju ended it better.
Thanks Doc, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Same to Korivan and Baijiu, too. I probably won't be starting any new games for a while but all of you are always welcome back when and if I do.
@Baijiu & Korivan - If either of you are interested in adding more PbP to your life, now or in the future, you should totally go check out the Flaxseed Lodge! It's the PbP hub for finding 1st Edition PFS games. The following 'tabs' are set up like so:
Gameplay - This is where characters engage in banter and general 'you're all in a tavern' style roleplay, usually styled as characters chatting it up between missions.
Discussion - Pretty self-explanatory. This is where you can ask and answer questions and chat OOC about Society and Society play and PbP-Society stuff specifically.
Recruitment - When GMs recruit for their next game, they'll usually post it here. The various styles of recruitment vary; some GMs take people on a first-come-first-serve basis, others will take signups and then hold a random lottery to decide on the players. Still others will run more formal recruitments where they take a look at your general writing style, PbP history, etc. to determine if you and your character would be a good fit for the game they want to run.
There are also numerous hyperlinks in the campaign description that offer additional information about upcoming PbP conventions, GM mentoring, etc. You can also find the links to Castamir's Flaxseed Station, Flaxseed on Deck, and the Cottonseed Lodge which are for Starfinder Society, ACG play, and 2nd Edition PFS respectively.

I had fun with everyone! Thank you guys so much! c: I apologize for my lack of showing in the last couple of weeks, though. My sister-in-law just finished being under the knife for an invasive and long surgery. We've all been pretty nervous about the results so I haven't been tracking my games quite as well as I should've been.
