Alright folks, you know the drill-
Name:
Character Name:
Level:
PFS#:
Int and Perception:
Day Job:
Anything I as your GM should know about your character beforehand (Trapsense, bonuses under a full moon, ect.) including preferred marching order:

Player: OG3
Character: Umberto Ricci
Level: 4.0
PFS: 175185-8
Init: +2
Perc: +2
Day job: n/a
When there is opportunity, Umberto fills his tankard with ale with his cantrip. His tankard is treated as a light mace when two-weapon fighting. Blade and Tankard. Step Up feat keeps me glued to my melee target.
2nd in line. Probably behind Shabah :)

![]() |

Name: Peter
Character: Volsung Dreamborn
Level: 3
PFS#: 226993-12
Init: +5
Perception: +6
Day job: none
I'll start with Mesmerist Trick Mesmeric Mirror on Volsung.
Fine with being 3rd or even 4th or more in line behind the more beefy PCs.

![]() |

Name: Cwethan
Character Name: Shabah Al'Quna
Level: 4
PFS#: 182453-11
Int and Perception: +2 Initiative, +8 Perception
Day Job: Shabah uses their Exchange Faction Card Slush Fund boon to make a day job check untrained and get 75gp
I'd prefer to be towards the front (as Umberto pointed out)
Shabah's tricks are usually performed on my turn and mainly involve them shifting shape and ripping someone's arm off...
I suppose the only thing that you'd have to keep in mind is that Shabah has a 25% chance to negate critical hits and precision damage. I'm happy to roll this in response to your posts, but if you prefer to roll it, that works too.

Hi! Thanks for GMing!
Player: Noral
Character: Toral
Class: Shaman 3
PFS: 314670-9
Faction: Exchange
Day job: prof(merchant): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Track: normal
Name: Noral
Character Name: Toral
Level: 3
PFS#: 314670-9
Int and Perception: Ini +0 / Perc. +11
Day Job: prof(merchant): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Anything I as your GM should know about your character beforehand (Trapsense, bonuses under a full moon, ect.) including preferred marching order:
Toral likes to be in the middle of the group.
He is Shaman but also has the slumber hex. Except of that he pretty straight forward.

Name: Sapphire Fox
Character Name: Alani Fox
Level:3
PFS#:208282
Int and Perception: +8 for both
Day Job: Craft Alc: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Anything I as your GM should know about your character beforehand (Trapsense, bonuses under a full moon, ect.) including preferred marching order: Prefer next to last, and has free action reload

A few things:
1) As I've mentioned, this is just my second PBP game and my first PFS PBP game. I'd welcome any and all feedback, criticism, abuse, etc.
2) I'm fine with Volsung being the last individual in our marching order. With an OK perception, combat reflexes, and swashbuckler parry, that's a reasonable position for Volsung.
3) Also, I forgot that I'd purchased a mithral buckler for Volsung and will be adding that to the character sheet if there are no objections.

There will be a delay in the posting a day or two as I am laid up in bed right now hopefully able to get to a computer tuesday night wednesday to post
feel better! i seem to have messed up my shoulder and will probably find myself in bed soon.

![]() |

Cross-posting in all of my games; apologies if you see this more than once.
Tomorrow, I head out for a weeklong vacation to where there are beaches, sunshine, and tropical beverages. I intend to be taking utmost advantage of all of the above (especially the latter). As such, I may have difficulty posting while I'm away; please bot me if necessary.
That said, the resort does have free WiFi, and I just got a new keyboard for my iPad that should allow me to post better on vacation than I ever have been able to before. I will be trying to keep up with all of my games as much as possible.
I expect, though, that my posts will necessarily be brief, even to the point of simply making my rolls without much roleplay. If I am silent in social situations, or not posting my combats, please err on the side of botting me early, rather than waiting; it will likely be better for us all that way.
Thanks!

Umberto, I took a fell Saturday, compressed both my knees and I've had surgery on them, Ankle swelled up enough that triggered a minute gout attack, am just not able to move about with minor/mostly bearable pain
Sorry that should be now able, and not not able heh damn my typing

![]() |

Yikes! Hope you get on the mend soon. (Truddig's absence sounds way more fun...)
Agreed on both counts (though I'm a bit leery about mixing dwarves and tropical drinks).

![]() |

I just wanted to make this quick post to let you all know that I'm back! As you may have noticed, my goal to post during vacation was a complete failure, so I have a lot to get to; it could easily take me all day to catch up on all of my games.
I'm cross-posting this note to all of my games early. Please feel free to continue to bot me until I post in Gameplay, if there's an urgent need; otherwise, I'll post before the end of the day if my character is up. Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I've been asked to look into Umberto's death. This is pretty standard in PbP games, because people are always anxious and want to double check rules during these situations.
In reading through the scenario and also the gamplay thread, I have found two issues.
1. The damage dice on claws are supposed to be D4's, not D6's.
2. The use of exceptionally deadly tactics without adequate warning given before the start of the scenario.
Thus, the first claw attack, which was a critical hit, did 2d4 + 16 ⇒ (3, 1) + 16 = 20 damage, at which time Umberto would fall into unconsciousness at -1 HP. The enemy would not have used the other claw.
Thus, Umberto is unconscious but still alive when the enemy died.

GM_Starson |

Players, in reference to the above post.
1.) My bad. I tend to copy and paste from the stat block and I did the wrong one. Entirely my fault.
2.)I would have not categorized the above tactic as "Exceptionally deadly". Since I did not give prior warning to you all that I am "Exceptionally Deadly", I want to give everyone the chance to back out if they would like to. I understand if the threat of character loss makes it for a un-fun experience for you, and I will not penalize you with a partially filled chronicle or anything silly like that if you do not wish to play in my game any further.
Thank you for your time. I will await each person's response before/if we continue.

![]() |

I’m fine with continuing.
Would the remaining claw attack have hit Volsung? That would make sense to me, and I would have no problem with this having happened.

![]() |

This character isn't anything exceptionally special, I haven't put a boon on her or anything like that, and Starson I've played with you before with my Hellknight in a previous game, and if things happen they happen, sometimes it pushes to make you look at resources you haven't considered before
Alani will stay

![]() |

I'm happy to continue through the end of the scenario if Umberto does indeed survive. I'll be much more careful with my HP and tactics.
Thank you for your consideration and fairness, GM Starson.

![]() |

Of course I am still in!

GM_Starson |

PATHFINDERS WIN! VICTORY!
SUCCESS CONDITION: If the party recovers all four parts of the acrimony veil and returns the assembled mask to Heidmarch Manor, award
each player 1 Prestige Point. COMPLETED!
SECONDARY CONDITION: The PCs see to it that Pel and Saala are
healed and escorted out of the undertemple. COMPLETED!
Thank you all for playing. I again apologize for the messiness involving Umberto's death, and will be more clear that I am a "Deadly" style of GM in the future. I hope you guys might consider still playing, as I'll probably be starting up another game soon. In the meantime, I'll have your guys chronicles up in a few days, so let me know if there is anything I need to add, do, ect.

![]() |

Thanks for running. I had a great time.

![]() |

Thanks for everything! Sorry for the inactivity the last couple of days but work is super stressful.

GM_Starson |

You know, I have it marked as I made them, but I can't find the files. O.O
I'm so sorry, i'll have them done tonight.

GM_Starson |

Truddig, I need your PFS number and dayjob if applicable.
Alani, I also need your -number to record you properly.

GM_Starson |

For everyone else, Chronicles are Here

Alright Truddig and Alani, your guys chronicles are updated and everything's reported. I'll close the campaign out in a few days in case you guys have other questions. Thanks again for playing with me, and despite messiness, I hope you had fun.
