Another Dwarf enters, a middle aged, tall, and muscular one.
Bald, with a white beard and moustache, Bones has the grey pasty skin of one who spent years in the artificial light of spaceships.

He wears a set of zero-G fitted heavy armor (Hidden Soldier): ceramic breastplate, bracers, greaves and shoulder guards, with a symbol on the left shoulder, (of Pharasma, the goddess of death & fate), and a logo on the right one (of the Acquisitives faction).

On his belt, the armor's slitted helmet, complete with its full rebreather, and two, rather worn, 7-inch-diameter metal disks, perforated with intricate abstract patterns and a circular hole in the middle, (singing disks).

Strapped to his back, his military pack & coil of cable.

He salutes, clicking his heavy boots:
"Me name's Boín of Clan Saltheart. But all call me "Bones". I'm a corpsman. That's a Navy combat medic to all you sadly planet-bound types. I'll set your broken bones straight after the fight, or lay them to rest with a prayer to Our Lady of the Graves if I can't."
He reverently bows his head:
"May She shine upon our fate these next days."

Hikaze slips quietly into the staging location, moving to a space where he can see all the entrances (and exits).

He quietly observes the others interacting and waits for someone to notice him.

When they do notice him he is in a dark, mottled gray and black jumpsuit with a pack on his back. A small Dataphiles patch is on the strap of the pack. Strapped low on his right hip is a laser pistol, and on the opposite hip is a sheathed knife.

Once everyone has arrived, he gives the group a short respectful bow.

"My name is Hikaze."

Hint:
Here is some info', not to preach or give lessons, but just to try and share & help out since you say you are not yet super experienced as DM.
re. identifying our adversaries, there is info' in the CRB (p. 133).
In organized play we basically have to make rolls every time we meet creatures (in general you cannot say: "Oh, I know all about this monster" for having met them before).
So, the player can make a roll with skills like Life Science (for animals...), Engineering (for constructs...) to see what his or her character knows about what he or she is facing.
The DC is based on the creature's CR (average is 10 + 1,5xCR) and if you succeed you recognize what it is (in this case, a Ghoul, and get the basic info': Undead, Evil...) and for every 5 points you go over the DC you get to ask 1 question (for example: does it have Special Attacks ; vulnerabilities...)
In this case it is not super important, not for me at least, just stating this for later in case it can help you.

As a note on selling loot...

example contains spoilers on the commencement:

In pathfinder/starfinder society, you don't sell loot. You can use whatever loot you find, but you get a set amount of gold credits at the end of the session. You cross out any loot not found or credits not found.

For example: In the commencement everyone gains 753 credits. At the bottom of the chronicles are a list of items found in the scenario that the heroes unlock for purchase. Heroes can purchase any items up to one level beyond them. However, the chronicle allows you to purchase items earlier. The commencement has the frostbite-class zero rifle (2,330; item level 4), which means they can now purchase that item at level 1 when you normally can't do that until level 3. If the heroes don't find that item, you cross it off the chronicle. If the heroes find the item, but they use it up, it stays on the chronicle, for example, grenades and potions. In certain spots of the scenario, it will say if they don't do this, it lessens their credits/gold by this much. Like if you take last or 2nd to last in the commencement race, heroes will get 185 less credits. So you't take 753-185 and whatever else they didn't do.

Bones can be the other gunner (+0)

I think that the Gunners can only get a +1 and not "+ Comp Sys (+2)".
That is if they get 1 or both of the two +1's the ship can grant each round.
+2 Comp Sys is for scanning and such that directly uses the computer, I believe.
Otherwise I think that is correct.

I do appreciate you stepping up to run! Every GM has his or her own style and comfort level, so I can't tell you how best to run the scenario, but simply tell you what has worked for me in the past.

I've found that starship combat, particularly via PbP can be very slow and feel repetitive. When I ran this quest, in an effort to keep things moving, I had the Pilot roll the subsequent round’s initiative with his post for the present round and allowed each PC to post an action when they could, even if they were going “out of turn”. I then resolved the actions afterward in a round ending summary. An example can be found here. It does mean that gunners may be firing before they know where the ship will end actually up and engineers may be empowering weapons that have already been fired. You can try to minimize out-of-character knowledge on player’s actions by using spoilers for actions as was done in this example in an effort to avoid, for instance, the above example where the engineer decides to empower weapons after the damage result was revealed. But, I have found most players on these boards to be honest enough that it doesn’t seem to really impact decisions.

This method, unfortunately, also means more work for the GM who has to sort it all out. However, for me, at least, it seemed more beneficial to keep up the momentum of the game rather than follow RAW.

Finally, I've found these "cheat sheets" to be super-helpful.

Hi players - I have a question for you. This battle is due to last until the Threnody reaches 0HP. I imagine in a live game, this happens fairly quickly but in a PbP game, this could take some time. My question is, would people be okay for me to halve the HP of the Threnody so that it essentially started with 50 HP not 100? This would ensure the battle is over a little quicker and potentially avoid boredom. Would this be allowed within the SFS rules? I'm happy to carry on if you are but if you feel it's a bit sludgy let me know....

I can do this either way, and I will try to keep to the rules with moving Hikaze between stations pre-engineering, however with 2 rounds at a shot it is a little difficult to properly decide where he needs to be.

However, 2 rounds at a time is moving this along much faster, so I'll do my best to keep up.

Yes, correct, Gunnery (2) means there are two Gunners.
So you can have two Gunners acting, both, in each round - if you have enough things for them to fire (depending on firing arcs / missiles left... whatever).

You have to create one of your own (create an Event and you'll get a number).
Which is a good idea if you run more games, because then you'll have all you need to report.
Otherwise you can have others report for you or give you the Even name/number etc. (I can do that if you want).
But it is easy to create your own, and worth doing if you GM even a little bit.
Go to Paizo, Organized Play, My Organized Play, GM/Even Coordinator, towards the bottom Create New Event...
