Yes please 1E. The second edition looks to be a good start but I'd hate to try and swap to it mid campaign.


The drow is down, sorry for not making that clearer. It was close but he's not getting up again anytime soon.

If it matters, all of the drow are technically unconscious.

I thought it was pretty clear that the Drow was down. I realize now that I might not have been clear however, since I didn't specify a target in my attack. I'm shooting at the slug since it's only thing still around. :)

Yes, let's stick to 1E. We started the campaign this way, and we should continue with it this way. While I am not averse to trying a 2E campaign, switching in the middle would be inconvenient - especially since my Sorcerer bloodline hasn't been published yet.

Yep. That was my thought too. 2E is basically just Core. Your bloodline isn't in 2E yet but I'd be even worse off since my class doesn't exist yet either XD

BTW, the creature's natural body slime allows it to move freely across the "webbing" it threw down.

Ah yes, I forgot that. Tomas took Trap spotter. When he gets within 10' of a trap a perception check is rolled by the GM.

Some decent loot. I wouldn’t say no to the quick runner’s shirt. With movement 20, an extra move action once per day could be useful.

The boots should go to whomever volunteers to be the party scout

That was my question. We've been heading out together so it would make sense for either of us. Our Stealth is the same so that doesn't even really affect the decision. He's got me beat on Acrobatics and Climb, so I guess do we want to improve the weaker acrobatic climber or the stronger acrobatic climber?

Sorry for silence past few days. Had something come up, but back home now. Will update tonight.


Hi guys,
I was really trying to avoid writing this message, but I've got to do it. Unfortunately I have to pull out of the game. Major changes at work have eaten away most of my free time, and I had a significant health scare a week ago that resulted in some major lifestyle changes. One of those is getting enough sleep, which is being strictly enforced by my loving spouse. Between extra work at home, and earlier bed times, I haven't had any time to focus on the game.

To top it off, we have 3 kids, one of whom is in therapy. Nothing major, but he has some things we're working on. We found out last week that our other two also need therapy (twin 2-yr olds), so we've been dealing with that now.

All that said, I'm in a good place. Our kids need some help, but nothing serious, and if I follow my doctor's advice, I should come out just fine vis-a-vis the health thing. I just unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate to running this game any more. I'm really sorry to leave like this. You guys are all awesome players, and I thoroughly enjoyed being your GM.
