Augrok makes no secret of appreciating her form, as well as her capability, considering what she had collected during her foray out. Even going so far as to turn and watch her depart, he shook his head and put his attention back on their surroundings. It still awed him at the amount of trees that he could see, as foothills were not too prone to being plentiful in regards to trees. Tall grasses did not quite compare. There were trees that he did not know, as well as the difference in animals that he was enjoying the travel more than he normally did.

Nex thinks to himself, "We don't know the bandits and cultist don't have allies in town, the more people that know the more troubles we may encounter if this mission takes us beyond the mill. A bird could be sent in half the time it takes us to travel.
"My concerns are a little longer term than that. The way back to town, follow-up missions and the like. I trust your judge of character but...we should get moving."

Okay you all head north by all accounts you heard the Moathouse is out off the beaten path. It should take a day to get there as it is heavy with overgrowth otherwise it would be half a day at most.

As they walked, Augrok was looking out at the surrounding environment with the eye of one that knows how to survive off of the land. Learning a new area was always something that took time to accomplish, and the word "investigation" was something that lent itself to longer durations of time. Presuming that they were not suddenly routed, it would behoove him to be able to manage without civilized aid as long as needed.
The trees were tall and green, with the scent of damp grass in the air, along with what the wind brought of burning wood. The earth under their feet was dry, but did not have the quality of dryness from earth starved of moisture, which meant that there was water nearby. It also lacked the scent of stagnation, which meant that the water was moving. They could expect to see some of the larger creatures unintentionally, perhaps.
"Content" was a good term for how he felt right now, paying attention to the land. While the others did not always talk while they traveled, it appeared that most of them were doing as he was, in this new area. Very wise of them.

A side path, banked high to cross over the wetland to either side, just north to the entrance of the ruin. the track here is only about 15feet wide or so, with crumbling embarkments making the travel near the edge dangerous. The bogs stink. the vegetation appears dense and prolific, but somehow sickly and unhealthy, creepers and vines throwing their strangling loops over the skeletons of dead saplings and living bushes alike. the rushes and cattails rustle and bend even to a slight zephyr, and other unwholesome sounds come faintly across the fen.

As the group's progress slows to a crawl Pajet scans the area for any signs of habitation.

Here is the Slides doc with the player info I have players update with each level so I can roll initiative and group perception checks. These speeds combat up greatly when used with block initiative. I have also included a grid for generic marching order that anyone in the group can change I picked a starting marching order that made sense based on the classes.
It works best if you can put it at the top of the game.
Cheers.

Eÿliana reaches down and draws the dagger from her boot. With her rapier in the other hand, she steps along side Nex and readies herself to throw her dagger if anything attacks a nearby ally.
Readied Action - throw dagger if an agressive creature gets within her first range increment.

The preparation from the others put Augrok on edge, and he stopped where he was to look around in an attempt to identify what the others were looking at. While he was not opposed to a fight in the least, he certainly wanted to make sense of what they would be fighting. "Somethin' there?", he rumbled?

the Other for Nex

As the tongue wraps around her arm and drags her towards the frog's open maw, the twinkle in Pajet's eye hardens. She draws her dagger and attempts to thrust it into the sticky bond that's grappling her.
Swift Action to use Archaeologist’s Luck, Move action to draw a dagger, Standard Action to attack the frog. I assume that I'm grappled and can't use a bow.
Dagger Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 - 2 = 6
Damage (P): 1d3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 2 = 4
Also, I think that the attack on Nex misses his Touch AC if I'm reading it right.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Nex studies his target and chops down with his blade.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
It's flat-footed touch AC at this point in combat so it hits.

Sorry for misunderstanding. My trigger was within range, which is 10'. So, attacking my allies might not necessarily have triggered the attack. I'm assuming that since her target has engaged either Nex or Pajey, I'll get sneak attack as then we are both threatening.
Eÿliana throws her dagger at the closest giant frog.

Not maintaining Archaeologist's Luck, but it will continue this round and next due to Lingering Performance. Free action to drop the dagger, move action to draw her bow, standard action to attack.
Bow Attack on the remaining Frog: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 2 = 12

Augrok was not as intimidated as one might think he would be at being snared by the tongue of the creature. Grinning, he wrapped one arm around the tongue, and laughed. "Who has who, Frog?!" Giving a huge yank, his foot slipped out from under him, and the stumble did not help his attempt.
