It might have been mentioned elsewhere, but what's the plan for HP beyond level 1?

Hommlet

I say leave it to chance. Roll and then add Con. reroll 1s and 2s

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

OK, let's see what second level has in store for Pajet then! She's already used up her good rolls in the gameplay page, so here goes nothing!

HP for level 2: 1d8 ⇒ 2

reroll HP for level 2: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Never mind, there's a bit of luck left in those dice after all.

Hommlet

Nice

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

So out of curiosity to Farvil, how did you manage to get 3 style feats and combat reflexes at level 1? The others on your list of feats are clearly from the monk class, but I can only seem to account for 1 level 1, 1 human bonus and one monk style bonus. Am I missing something somewhere?

M

I'm going to be pretty swamped for the next week, so my posting may be spotty.

Monk 1 | HP 11 | Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +5 | Init +3

Pajet, you are absolutely right. I think I might have been trying different combinations in PcGen added Panther Claw (which I don't consider a style of its own, more of an enhancement) and had not verified its math.

I'll remove Panther Claw and see if I wish to add it next level.

Hommlet

Good start people. I am currently heading I to work I plan to respond when I get home

Hey all I just wanted to say Nex is serious and likes structure. I, the human playing him, am much more flexible so tell him in character, or me out of character to pull back if its bothersome.

Hommlet

its fine I can work with it

I try to make list like that in games. I find it makes it easier to keep track of.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

What is the current weather/season?

Hommlet

Early spring

Hommlet

I feel bad I could not post today, but I have to get up early tomorrow. So look for a proper post for me tomorrow!

Monk 1 | HP 11 | Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +5 | Init +3

I hope I'm not the only one who cannot find the map link.

Right under the gm's name, it says Hommlet

Hommlet

My apologies everyone. I got busy yesterday before work and crashed after. I plan to have a post up after I get off work giving you a vague description of all you pass

Half-elven Rogue 1

I have a busy, short week at work as I’m leaving tonight on vacation for the Thanksgiving holiday. I will be back next Monday. I will try to post once or twice from my phone if possible. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hommlet

Apologies all the Holidays were busier than anticipated. Should be back on track later today

Grand Lodge

Some deadlines got moved and my thesis has to be submitted this weekend so please bot me until my return.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

Seeing how this is progressing, what is the DM's thoughts on scattered individuals? While I know it is convenient to move as a group, I am certain that the the lot is not one cohesive unit (yet). How many threads do you feel comfortable carrying before it becomes cumbersome?

Hommlet

I could do two maybe three. If it becomes too much I will weave you quickly back together.

Hommlet

Sorry all I have been sick most of this week, I took today off so Now I am gonna try to do some follow ups before I pass out again.

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

Er, the tunnel's under the village hall. Unless Nex is trying to deceive (which I don't think he would be here.)

Hommlet

I was just about to type that i had to reread the adventure

Nope just forgot which building. Just correct him in character as he does not know the city well.

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

Sounds good! I didn't want to default to correcting another character in the RP without checking here first.

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

So I think we need to get some action going here to spark the game to life. Who wants to explore the tunnel below the village hall? I failed to get any sort of answer about whether we should or not, but it might be our nearest source of adventure!

The winter holidays seem to give a pause to the PbPs that can be tough to bounce back from.

I'm ok with that. I am also fine with going straight to our goal now that we know where the camp is.

Hommlet

The Tunnel is an option, Augrok has a few leads for you all and you know of the bandits. I even have a few things outlined in the town, but it is up to you all.

Male Undine Inquisitor 1

I'm all for it, let's go!

Assuming we're out of the keep and headed back to the inn to find Augrok.

Pajet nods. "That sounds like a plan to me. Oh, and I might have picked up a couple things on our way here. Nex and Ekaitz, you might make use of this scroll. It seems divine in nature and from what I can tell that's up your alley. There's also this amulet here which looks interesting. Near as I can tell it can protect the wearer for demonic possession and the like. Does anyone feel like they might be in immediate danger of such things?"

The gnome passes the scroll over to whichever of Nex or Ekaitz acts to take it first and holds the amulet of life protection up for all to see. Should anyone express interest she'll hand it over without reservation.

"Now then, where did that half-orc get to I wonder. Think he'll be excited to try to route some bandits?"

LOL I love the bit about demonic possession that was great

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

For what it's worth, I'm not wedded to the Daring Seekers as a name. It was just the first thing that came to mind for Pajet. If anyone has something they like I'm happy to go with that.

Hommlet

You still have time to change it if you so choose. But after a while, your fame with become tied to your name!!!

Hommlet

Sorry about being slow posting but sometimes work just take it outta me. This next post will hopefully be a through one.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

While I can access the document, I'm going to hold off, and try to add color where I can in my posts. Apologies for being lax on posting.

Archaeologist 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 17 TAC: 15 FF: 13 | Fort +2, Ref +7, Wil +3 | Init: +4 | Perception: +8 | Archaeologist’s Luck: 6/7

So I don't know what DM Barbarian Taco thinks about it, but one thing I like to do when I ready an attack is just roll it right away and put it in a spoiler. That means that the DM can use it as appropriate or ignore it if it never comes up, and we don't need to wait for a couple of people to notice things on forums. These forum based games take long enough to play anyhow, and speeding up the predictable rolls (readied attacks, obvious attacks of opportunity, etc ...) can be handy.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

Augrok can act in the next round, his round having been rolling for Perception, right?

Hommlet

Yes you can go ahead and post attacks when I get off work I'll post my next round of attacks

Hommlet

I will be at my local Comic Con all weekend [3/29 -3/31] So I will most like not post all weekend

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

Webs and fire in an abandoned tower? What could go wrong? :p

Hommlet

Okay I am gonna try to roll Initative for everyone unless you all are done with the campaign?

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

Still here. I was going to have Augrok go on initiative rather than the surprise, since he would have been looking around at the place as a whole, rather than anticipate ginormous beasts that would leap out of burning webs.

Hommlet

So I have lost some steam on this endeavor. I am gonna work on stuff for a while to bring my information back up to speed. [Like this horrible Google Doc, am working on for this campaign, not just here but for a home table too] I hope to maybe start this back up in June. And pick up right where we left off.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

Roger that. I'll look for you.
