Heh. Fumbus isn't even *trying* to get rid of the acid ;-)
Fumbus keeps swinging at the Arclord...
+1 Dogslicer: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11, for 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 1 = 3 damage.
+1 Dogslicer: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13, for 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 1 = 6 damage.
...but really just seems to be wiggling his blade enthusiastically in the man's direction.
_Lem
"Now, asking a woman to keep her hands to herself is one thing, but I shouldn't have to ask that of an Arclord." chides Lemon, who doesn't seem quite as upset at the attention as perhaps his words indicate.
His own reserve of easily accessable spells diminished, the swords-bard resorts to slashing twice at the wizard, before making space to allow those more practised warriors to get close to the wizard.
attack: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 10 + 1 = 29
second attack: 1d20 + 10 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 1 - 5 = 11
damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9
Two strikes and two moves
And a reflex save I forgot
reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Or maybe it is just to get away from the burning fireball that seems to have set his trousers a flame!

Annilda stands up and lashes out at the damn things with two kicks, but she doesn’t quite think about how bad an idea it is to kick solid stone until her feet connect with a rather painful sounding whack. The smarting feet protest, but the statue doesn’t seem fazed at all. Not to say that unarmed attacks don’t work, just describing how you’re misses worked!
Karvek proves he has the merits to truly deserve the nickname ‘Statue Bane’, leaving another dusty pile of rubble behind. But you break them so well! I mean that’s a crit and then enough to kill!
Earevel casts a spell that causes Prakahavu to scoff at the pitiful magic, the Arclord sidesteping the worst of the elctricity. His apprentice, however, doesn’t notice in time and takes the full brunt.
Fumbus flails at the opening that the Arclord left not even looking to see that it’d been filled by Karvek. Luckily the flailing proves to be ineffective, leaving both parties unscathed. If you want you could use that third action on trying to get the acid off. The acid keeps burning away taking another good chunk of the goblin’s flesh the hungry substance still intently burning away. Another -8 and it keeps burning. Also the flat check is free and automatic, unless you’re really trying to die.
Lemon takes a swing at the wizard standing next to him. His first strike lands a surprisingly deep wound on the loving wizard, causing his reaching hand to go limp and swing back and forth. Wizened to the bard’s sword though, the apprentice dodges out of the way of the second strike. A CRIT, you dealt an extra 10 damage he bard then realizes that he’d caught on fire and rushes out past the fighter and into the grass. 20 fire damage to Lemon
I’m really wanting to finish this up so I’m going to skip Seo-Yeon, she can take two rounds of actions, if she wishes.
The apprentice gives an alarmed look at his bloodied and clearly dislocated if not nearly severed wrist and cries in pain. He back-peddles quickly, getting away from the fight, he does stop to make sure that the ball of fire doesn’t go away instead focusing it on top of the ‘Statue-Bane’.
Prakhavu incants a short spell pulling out a block of butter. The butter disappears and a second later the whole area around Karvek, Annilda and the pathway the retreating apprentice opened is covered in slick greasy substances. The Arclord then moves just beyond Earevel’s Cantrip range. DC 21 Acrobatics saves from Annilda and Karvek to stay upright
Grey takes a swing at Karvek and lands a solid blow across the fighters jaw causing a few popping noises as it dislodges the joint painfully. 14 damage to Karvek it takes a second swing but misses entirely. Green then also moves in closer and mechanically swings twice at the man. The first strikes the man across the back causing pain to ell up in the area, but the second flies wide. Another 10 damage to Karvek

Using his supernatural speed, Lemon chases after the arc-lord.

Oh, that's what it is? Eh. In that case, just have Fumbus wander away, and frantically scrape the acid off - I am aware that I probably crit the statue twice, if I directed attacks at that, but Fumbus honestly wouldn't have tried, given that he probably wouldn't get through the hardness without critting :-P

Earevel shoots off another jolt of electricity. Prakhav gives him a flat look as he dances out of the way, commenting, “If you keep up with those I might have to start dispelling them.” The apprentice still worried over his nearly severed hand, doesn’t notice the spell in time taking the full brunt of the spell. He turns to run, clearly on his last legs, but Seo-Yeon’s arrow is enough knock the man out flat.

If you say so. You would have done over half the statue’s hit points and broken it’s armor making Karvek’s hits both hit. But this way you might stay alive!
Fumbus gives a sigh as his target wanders off, but the acid slipping into his underwear causes the goblin to dance off crazily and try dousing himself in water to wash it off. He gives an eep of surprise when the hand of a water elemental reaches out washes some of the substance off of his back. There were two water elementals in the fountains, but nobody threw an AoE spell on them (that fireball was counterspelled) so they didn’t really matter.
The water and helpful elemental help, but don’t get everything before the acid is able to eat away at his flesh again. The damage is gone, but you didn’t clear the DC until after you took damage again. So 7 damage.
Annilda loses her footing in the grease, but is soon back on her feet and healing up Karvek. She then slides out of the grease and moves after the arclord.
Lemon chases after the Arclord, spouting nonsense about wandering hands. Prakhavu looks at the man and, dodging the bard’s weapon, quips. “I believe you’re talking about my apprentice lying in his own blood over there. He did have a bad habit of that, but it doesn’t give you a right to swing a sword at him or me!”
Karvek deftly avoids getting caught in the flames of the flaming sphere right next to him, but fails to take into account the slippery ground below him and gives a particularly graceful faceplant to the ground. He stands up with a double slice at the grey statue’s legs, but only one hits and his choice of target proves to be lacking as it barely even chips the surface of a calf.
Seo-Yeon leaps over the bushes as the smell of the rotting cloud fills her nostrils. She quickly gets out of the stinking field and gulps in some fresh air. She then takes up a good position to shoot her arrows and pegs the apprentice, bringing him down. But as she does so her legs give her a numbingly slow sensation of getting scratched. Glancing down she sees that the brambles she is standing in have more than a few thorns in them and they seem to glisten in something that might explain why it took her so long to notice.
You’re in some poison brambles! You take 2 points of piercing and need to make a DC 16 Fort saveSeo-Yeon, can you give me an Arobatics roll to Leap the bushes? If you don’t get enough to clear, you’ll take another 1d4 for every square you didn’t cover.
Prakhavu, not sure what else to do, casts a simple spell and repeats it three different times. Three different bolts of force materialize next to the man before they slam into Lemon. 9 Damage to lemon
The statues slam into Karvek four different times, both of them look liable to hit, but the man's blink spell seems to line up perfectly, the swings going through the space the fighter had been standing but just as he's not present. They both failed their Flat checks to hit you. The can't affectyou this round. However the flaming sphere of the apprentice, though clearly sputtering it's last breath still proves to be hot enough to pose a risk. Sorry about the lack of updates, hade a surprisingly busy couple
of days without any time or opportunities to get behind a keyboard. Let's get this fight finished this week!
Fumbus decides he’s almost about to die and that he’d rather live than kick the bucket, pulls out a potion and downs the contents, his massive acid burns starting to scab over. The water elemental still playfully plays with the goblin, clearly glad to have someone to play with, tweaking the goblin’s ears and soaking through his clothes.
Seo yeon tries to leap over the hedge, and despite putting a lot of effort into it, she is just barely able to clear it. She rushes around the bushes and ends up in the brambles. The scratching thorns cause her to momentarily blink, but she soon rouses and instead starts to sing an inspiring song, lifting her companion’s spirits in the dragging battle. She shoots her bow, but the conflict is too crowded for her to shot easily and ends up missing terribly.
Annilda moves in close and tries to put another head lock on the wizard. She soon has him gripped by the head and wriggling to get free, again proving just how inept the man is at wrestling. He hammers at her arm rather ineffectively, retorting “No, We’ll finish when I say we do, Silly little girl. Just give me a moment to break free. And you wouldn’t comprehend the answers if I deigned to tell you anyways.”
Karvek, engaged with the statues, still proves he’s flameproof, avoiding the last of the apprentice’s flames. It does, however, knock him off kilter enough that both of his picks land a terrible angles skittering off the armor of the grey statue.
Parkahvu pauses his light beating of Annilda’s arms to give Lemon a flat look. ”My apprentice had his interests, of course, but he only acted like that to people trying to hurt him or his teacher. His sins are only reflections of your own and not of my teaching.” He then laughs as he dodges all of the bard’s attacks despite being in a headlock.
Earevelbot Chants another short incant generating a small bolt of electricity and directing it at the other wizard and then the grey statue. The wizard takes a small jolt of electricity, but the statue ignores the tiny spark that lands on it.
Both statues take another swing at Karvek, trying to take down their bretheren killer. Both of them time their swings better, but one only ineffectively clangs against Karvek's magic shield and the other misses him completely.
Prakhavu tries to escape the choke hold on him and get away from the crazy lady with the domination fetish. He twists one way and the next, before accidentally shoving his hand in her face and causing her to momentarily break her grasp allowing him to slip out and run up behind the bushes.

Annilda runs back to the Arclord and tries to recapture him in a headlock, but the man, having seen the same move twice, dances out her reach. “Hmm, I’m not going to let you try that on me again, young lady! Why don’t you try your domination routine on one of your friends. I’m not really into wrestling.”
Seo-yeon, moves out of the brambles not problem and tosses a haste spell on Karvek. She luckily doesn’t take anymore scratches, as she has a feeling her body couldn’t fight off the poison in them anymore.
Karvek, feeling energized by the magic rushing through his veins, takes four quick swings at the grey statue in front of him. The first blow hits, not doing too much damage to the statue, but knocking it’s stone breastplate to the ground. His next swing carves a deep wound into the now exposed ‘chest’ of the statue. His third flies wide, but his fourth lands deep into the chest ‘wound’ and cracks the statue in two. Grey is gone!
Fumbus drinks down another elixir, the scabs on most of his wounds flaking off to show healthy skin beneath. While he does so, though, the water elemental tries to pull his hands away and play patty cake.
Lemon rushes after the arclord as well, and then with a surprising quickness lands two solid hits across the man’s lower limbs, however, the man can’t put much power behind the swings and only leaves small scratches behind, the Arclord still looking like he could keeping going!
Earevel casts another cantrip, targeting the Arclord and his final statue. The Aclord winching in pain at the scratches on his legs doesn't recognize the spell in time and takes the full brunt of it. The statue doesn't even move in response, taking the shock and ignoring it for the most part.
Prakhavu gives all the people crowding him a glare before lifting his hands and flapping his arms around like a ninny. He chortles out three disctinct words, "Bananas. Califlower. Granite!" At the last word, Lemon feels a wave of cofusion wash over him, almost threatening to take away his sense of reality. DC 21 will save vs. Confusion
The last green statue, at an order from Prakhavu steps around Karvek twice coming out in front of the fighter in an attempt to keep the man busy, the statue then takes a single swing at him. It misses by a mile, however.

"Oh, you'll need to do better than that. Pineapples, Mindflayers and Flying puppies." quips back lemon as he strikes the wizard.

"Surrender!" he tries again.
Two strides to get behind so others might get a flanking bonus, two strikes.

Dangit, I should have included the text for the spell, but your sucessful save gives you a slowed 1 condition, admitedly for only 1 round.
Success Babbles incoherently and is slowed 1 for 1 round.
Critical Success The target is unaffected.
Failure Confused for 1 minute. It can attempt a new save at the end of each of its turns to end the confusion.
Critical Failure Confused for 1 minute with no save to end early.
Prakhavu gives a curse as his last high level spell does little but inconvinience it's target. "I'll never surrender to the magically inept likes of you! You're not an Arclord, there's no way you could ever best me!"
2E - Annilda Soncir
Annilda grins as he slips out of her grasp. "Oh well. Since you refuse to surrender, I'm going to enjoy this."
Annilda moves up and casts Savor the Sting. She then reaches out to touch him.
Touch Attack vs Flanking: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Mental Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 2) = 8
He needs to make a DC 18 Will Save if that hit.
You revel in your target’s pain. If you succeed at a touch attack, your target takes 1d6 mental damage (double damage on a critical hit) and becomes sick with pain depending on its Will save. As long as the target is sick, you gain a +1 conditional bonus to attack rolls and skill checks against the target.
Success: The target does not become sick.
Failure: The target is sick 1 and takes 3 persistent mental damage as long as it’s sick.
Critical Failure: Per failure, but the target is sick 2.
Heightened (+1) The initial damage increases by 1d6 and the persistent damage increases by 1.
Karvek
Karvek takes advantage of the haste to leave the statue behind and swing in sonce at the Arclord.
Pick +1 Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Piercing Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 6) + 4 = 16
OR Fatal Critical: 5d10 + 8 + 5 ⇒ (10, 4, 3, 10, 4) + 8 + 5 = 44
Put markers to show his 3 strides.

Wait just realized you'd rolled a 20 and therefore an Auto Crit... ha-ha oops!

Almost all of the other distractions out of the way, the group finally focuses on Prakhavu, and he decidedly wilts under the attention. First Lemon lands a solid hit, slicing through a few layers of muscle on the arclord's back, followed up by getting slapped in the face not once, not twice, but three times. Still reeling from the unexpectedly painful slaps, Karvek is able to land a nice solid hit, causing the arclord to finally snap back to attention, glaring at the fighter with a mix of anger and fear. "Stay back, all of you. I'm warning you! I have a nother fireball spell and am willing to take you out with me!"

Annilda grins. "Oh please. As if I'd ever let you escape so easily. Let's see your pathetic final maneuver."
Seo-yeon Kim
"I agree with Annilda," Seo-yeon calls out. "Is this not enough? Do cease your efforts and confess your crimes properly."
She advances further in the direction the others have gone, sighting on the arclord.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Lemon, now flanking the wizard, smiles wickedly.
"Sins of the master... perhaps we should talk about other sins.."
He taunts as he strikes again and again.
strike, non letahl,flank: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 + 2 = 19
second strike, non lethal,flank: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 5 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 1 - 5 + 2 = 8
third strike, non lethal,flank: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 10 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 9 + 1 - 10 + 2 = 16
But his efforts to keep the man alive make his attempts weak.
GM Sedoriku
Alright Botting Earevel.
Earevel casts his cantrip again, targeting the statue and then the Arclord.
Electric arc: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 2) + 4 = 11
Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Prakhavu gives Annilda an offended ook his nose in the air. "Hmph, You don't know what you're asking for, I've been known to kill full armies with my fireball before!" He starts to pull out bat guano and a few other supplies clearly intent on casting his final spell.
He gives a sharp glare at Seo-Yeon. "NO. That is NOT enough! I won't be satisfied until you realize just how far beneath the Arclords and Nex himself to be even trying to accuse me of a crime! I've committed no crime you have any right to judge me for!" He gives a cry of pain, though, as the bard's arrow pierces his foot, skewering it in place.
His foot trapped doesn't mean that he can't still dodge Lemon's hesistant swings, clearly not happy about the man still trying to take him down. "And what sins might those be? How about the sin of attacking a man without provocation? Killing his summoned servant? Murdering my apprentice? Accusing me of crimes you can't prove? ut you don't want to talk about those do you?"
Just as he starts to chant the incant for a spell, one Anyone with an ounce of arcane knowledge recognizes is NOT a fireball spell, Earevel casts his cantrip one more time. Prakhavu gives him a sneer and tries to dodge to the left, but Seo-yeon's arrow keeps him planted in place and he takes the full charge in the face, collapsing into a heap.
The statue he'd been ordering about stops moving mid stride after Karvek and says put. Any approaches does earn a retalitory strike, but it seems to have lost all malice abot fighting.
-----COMBAT OVER!-----
The smoke rising from the downed form of Prakhavu, an almost blissful silence falls over the garden. The silence is broken by the sounds of voices in the hallway leading to the garden. The jangle of Sebnet's bracelets and her higher pitched voice echoes down the corridor, "they should be over this way, or at least that's what my tracking spell is saying..." It's accompanied by the sounds of armor clanking and Eiab stating, "You know those kinds of spells are illegal, right?". Zanhanal then nervously adds in, "Wait you didn't cast one of those on US, did you?"
They still sound like they're a ways away, though.
Sebnet and the guards are still a few rounds away, is there anything you want to do in the mean time?
2E - Annilda Soncir
"I love how they grovel when they realize it's too late." Annilda laughs and proceeds to disarm and tie the Arclord before casting Stabilize. "I don't care much for the law, but I do want to see him squirm."
"Fumbus, acid burns are simply not your style. Come here."
Heal on Fumbus: 1d8 + 2d8 + 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + (8, 3) + (4, 3) + 4 = 28
"While I save the Arclord's sorry life, someone should search him, just in case he has something useful. I'll see to his apprentice shortly."
_Lem
Lemon leans over the fallen arc-lord and checks for a pulse, doing what he can to keep the man alive... but not a threat.
Earevel
"In the end your arrogance was your defeat" Earevel looks at the fallen Archlord while leaning over his staff. The elf cleans the sweat on his front and breaths deep to recover.
After it is sure the wizard will not move, the elven magician approaches and checks the magical treasures of the powerful man "So we solved the case. I guess it is time to come back to our contractors"
Seo-yeon Kim
"It sounds like she's coming here," Seo-yeon said, frowning. She nods as Annilda stabilizes the Arclord, glad that they won't, at least, suffer from murder charges. That said, she moves towards their other fallen foes to determine whether they might be saved.
Medicine?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
...apparently she just kind of pokes the bodies a little.
GM Sedoriku
Sorry everyone, this weekend turned busy, too!
A few seconds of silence resounds in the garden as everyone looks at the Arclord, really checking if he's down. Annilda acts first gagging the man and pulling out some rope. Lemon takes the rope and carefully binds his hands behind him and taking the materials pouch from him. As they get about to taking care that Prakhavu doesn't start casting spells immediately, Fumbus slides in behind and starts to search him. The goblin comes up with a long staff with flame motifs all along it, two vials in metalic flask filled with a green liquid of some kind, and a small brown leahter bag that seems to be a little heavier than you'd expect for something that seems empty.
AS the goblin moves to open the bag, though, Seo-Yeon, Earevel and Karvek all rush in to stop him, the three having caught a glimpse of what looks like a faint rune engraved in the outside of the bag. Earevel is able to recognize it as an Electric rune set to explode if someone other than Prakhavu opens the bag.
You can try disabling it with a DC 19 Epert Theiery check to scratc it out or a spell DC 17 (2nd level) to dispel the rune
The arclord divested of his things and bound Annilda finally stablizes the man and then immediately turns to heal Fumbus, bringing the goblin up to full health and getting rid of the acid burns.
Karvek on the other hand goes down and just barely gets the apprentice stable. Seo-yeon on the other hand gives both bodies a few pokes with a long stick not sure how to handle the bodies and positive she'd heard somewhere that touching a dying man's blood was a sure way to kill them and curse yourself.
As the group is working around with making sure people are not dying, teh sounds of the guards giving Sebnet a stern talking to about the importance of privacy and how tracking magic is an invasion of that.
A minute or so later six guards, Eiab and Zanhanal among them, rush into the room, giving the place a look over. Eiab gives a small whistle as the state of the place, "This must have been an impressive fight! Are those piels of rubble the leftovers of statues? That's an impressive number there!"
Zanhanal instead glances at the last statue still standing, "Are we sure he's okay to leave like that? Can we break him before we do anyhting else?" He then tries to convince Eiab and the rest of the guards to handle the statue as they move over to Prakhavu.
Behind the guards comes a chastized Sebnet. She glances at the group with a sheepish look on her face. She starts slowly, but soon builds into an enthusiatic pitch. "So... you found our culprit, I assume? Is that Prakhavu? Did he have the Directives? Thank-you for handling this so well! I'm sure that people will be talking about 'The Pathfinders who Took on an ARclord and Won' for years to come. You all did brilliantly!"
Annilda: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Fumbus: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Earevel: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Karvek: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Seo-Yeon: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Lemon: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Seo-yeon Kim
"How interesting to be on the other side of a story," Seo-yeon noted thoughtfully, an amused glint in her eye as she sets the stick down. "But I think that this, at least, has ended well."
2E - Annilda Soncir
Annilda stretches. "Well, that was exciting. And what have you found, Fumbus? Let me take care of that."
Annilda will use her 2nd level Restoration spell to dispel the rune, if that's possible.
"For a six foot tall coward driven by jealousy... he knew how to hurl insults. I wonder how many curses he will give the judge. Haha!"
"Yes, all of the evidence we gathered points to him doing the deed and then trying to blame his rival with some well-placed claw marks." She shrugs.
Once Prakhavu is dragged away, Annilda turns to her fellow Pathfinders. "All of you- I was glad to fight by your side. Hopefully we won't get shot again too many times. So much cowardice out here." She grins. "Would anyone like an Augury? Good for what ails you."
Earevel
Earevel makes his best to quickly make good work of the rune without ill consequences.
Thievery (expert) DC 19: 1d20 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 5 = 18
The elf smiles "Indeed, we did it. It was a grand fight. Mmm... I guess we should not leave it like that, but you can probably sort out the details. The main job is done here"
