"Yeah, probably," he answered, "I wonder how they got the little lizard-man to play the role."

He follows the 'show' a bit more. "He's more fun than the other guy, that Cyrdak fellow."

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Ashleaf:

The girls cooed a bit at the purring cougar, and Ateria gently reached towards the cat's head, giving the half elf a cautious look.

"Is...it okay to pet him?" she asked him.

Azzerix:

The woman just blinked, before clearing her throat and addressing to the kobold, "Um...First, we don't have a chief, but a mayor-which is me. Mayor Deverin. And secondly, I can provide you some food, if you just follow me please. We have a lot to talk about."

Rane:

"Ain't that the truth," Shayliss giggled a bit, before she immediately stopped once she saw something. "I'm sorry but I have to go. I hope we can dance again sometime!" she said before running off.

Before Rane could get a reply, he heard a gruff voice ask sternly, "You've better been treating my daughter good."

I don't think you need a Knowledge (local) check to figure this out Rane

Alright guys, don't worry about constantly going through the RP before the combat. It shouldn't take me a few days before I get the maps up and we can start the combat that you guys have probably been waiting for.

Male Human Witch 1

I was waiting to see the dragon do some tricks on stage.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Well only if the 'dragon' will refuse to follow Deverin will he probably do some tricks.

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

I'm just having fun upsetting the established order. I doubt most games start out with a kobold just outright saying 'BOW TO ME!' (None I've been in, anyways...)

Azzerix peers down at the woman, cocking his head to the other side and smirking. "Ah, yes. Of course, Chief Deverin. You wish to ensure you will get a substantial cut of my good graces. Naturally." It's not entirely clear if he's simply ignoring her title as mayor, or he simply doesn't grasp the difference. At least he recognizes her as being in charge... good enough for now?

"I presume you wish to discuss tributes and what my majesty can do for your kin in return. Rest assured, there is plenty I can do. My first task will be to subjugate the little green pests who nest in the surrounding woods. Or slay them all. Their choice, I do not care either way."

Looking back at the crowd, he still saw a few giggling faces. Perhaps a proper demonstration of his might was in order. Stepping to the edge of the stage, he reared back and let loose another, more potent blast of cold energy, shattering itself into flakes of white midair. "I am the Winter Dragon! Sandpoint shall know true majesty now!!!" Satisfied, he hopped down off the stage, following after the mayor. "Lead on! I hunger..."

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Azzerix:

Never seen a RP that starts off with anyone yelling 'BOW TO ME!'

The mayor leads the kobold into the cathedral, where she sits down and, with a heavy sigh, states, "Look, um...White Dragon. I am truly sorry, but...there really is no way you can lord over this town. We're not like what you may be used to in a kobold tribe. We each care for each other, and although we have laws, we also have our freedom."

"However, I believe we can compromise," the man, Father Zantus, smiled, offering the reptilian a plate of spiced salmon, "The famous spiced salmon from The Rusty Dragon Inn. I'm sure you like fish?"

The mayor smiled, "I have an idea. You said that your first task was to, how did you say it, 'subjugate the little green pests'. Are you perhaps talking about the goblins? For if you are, you can stay and help out the guards ward off any pesky goblin that tries to enter Sandpoint. Chances are, they're too stupid to realize that your a kobold, and not a true dragon. In return, you can stay here in Sandpoint-where we will have to figure out-and we will pay you in the copper coins you've received. Is that a fair enough deal?"

I have no idea if I need to roll a Diplomacy check to a PC, so I won't. And I have no idea if Deverin's ever negotiated with a kobold before

Human Ranger 1 HP:12/12, AC 17, T 13, FF 14 Fort+3, Ref+5, Will+3, Init+3, perc+6

Rane jumped slightly with surprise, and turned around to face Ven Vinder. He suddenly fel woefully inadequate in his dirt-ridden clothes. He shifted uncomfortably. "I err... Yes, sir. Well as I can."

This felt like... It felt like that one time his mentor, Horst Karhen, found him with his hand in the cake-jar. Not a nice feeling, really.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Rane:

The man raised an eyebrow at the young man in front of him, before cracking a smile-rare for him-and said, "Don't act like I'm some ogre. Just a dance was all ya two did. Care for a drink? As a way to thank ya for the materials ya been handing to me?"

I know, you're probably gonna say, 'That's WAY OOC for Ven!' Well, this is a celebration-I thought the old fart would loosen up to someone who helps his business

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

I doubt it. Most kobolds probably wouldn't walk up in the middle of a festival and declare themselves Supreme Dragon Master to all who would listen. Then again, most kobolds aren't as glorious and gifted as myself.

"I AM a dragon!" Azzerix furrowed his brow a bit, looking up as if to respond further before pausing and thinking. Hrm... perhaps they are still not able to comprehend my magnificence. They do not think as a dragon would, and they have not seen me demonstrate the full power I wield... the softskins like to think they are in control. I suppose it cannot be helped - perchance it better to indulge their little fantasy.

"The goblins, indeed." Azzerix confirmed, eying the fish before him before leaning down and taking a huge chunk out of it, chewing it as he nodded. "This pleases me. Continue to bring me tributes like these, and your tribe will prosper! Now..." Swallowing his food, Azzerix patted his belly. "Simply repelling the little things is not enough. I will not have them running amok in my dominion. I will make my presence known to them, and they will either leave, serve my majesty, or die. I will be choosing your finest as my personal minions to make sure they understand my demands."

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Azzerix:

"Alright! Mighty...Dragon," the woman tried to muster without cracking up, "Like I have said, you can stay, but please, don't be this demanding. I suppose that we can head over to the Rusty Dragon for you to choose your...minions. If you can please try not to be so demanding, we will allow you to stay. Do we have a deal, Ko-Dragon?"

Ashleaf, Rane, and Tarnok:

Father Zantus walked out towards the crowd, still hoping to see the kobold. He cleared his throat, and announced, "Please excuse the interruption. Now, in the name of Desna, we shall release her children into the sky!"

As he released a cavern's cloth to reveal a cage full of Swallowtail butterflies, he unlatched the lock, and the butterflies slowly flew out in a majestic display.

"And now, all of the town's Inns-the Rusty Dragon, the Hagfish, and the White Deer-are open to serve dinner! Please make your way to whatever Inn you see fit to dine at!"

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

The tall half elf nodded again, appreciating the thin arm reaching up to the cat on his shoulders. He recieved a whiff of perfume, or pheromones, or something along those lines.

Jarro enjoyed the attention almost as much as Ashleaf did, until they were interrupted by the release of the butterflies. The druid smiled at the beautiful wings taking off into the air and upon the call for food, he turns to the ladies next to him and manages to ask them a simple question. "Dinner?" He gestures with one hand for as many who wish to accompany him to the nearest establishment.

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

Azzerix smiles, baring plenty of his fangs as he nodded. "Indeed! Let us meet the old rusty dragon! I shall relieve him of his duties and take his place as the town's draconic majesty!" He waved the mayor ahead of him so that she could lead the way.

Male Human Witch 1

Tarnok decided to wait for Father Zantus before selecting an inn to attend.

Human Ranger 1 HP:12/12, AC 17, T 13, FF 14 Fort+3, Ref+5, Will+3, Init+3, perc+6

"That would be great!" Rane sounds perhaps a bit too enthusiastic about it, but he was momentarily stumped by the man's sudden good mood.

He was appropriately wowed at the butterflies. He couldn't help but wonder how they collected them all. Maybe they caught a few and then bred the rest. Could you breed butterflies in cages? Otherwise there might be work for next year. Huh. Next year. He didn't think he'd be settling down here. Still, the place wasn't so bad.

He turned to Ven. "Which inn should we head to?"

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Azzerix:

The mayor sighed while rubbing her temples, and guided the kobold to the Inn, which was already packed with people.

"Well, here we are-the Rusty Dragon Inn, owned by Ameiko Kaijitsu."

Ashleaf:

The other two ladies immediately left Ateria, who was blushing madly.

"You...want to have dinner with...me?" she stammered, "Um...alright. To the Rusty Dragon?"

They both entered the Inn, where several smirks and smiles followed them as they sat down on a table.

Tarnok:

Father Zantus returned to the Shoanti with a heavy sigh, guiding him to the Rusty Dragon, where Ameiko was starting to set up the bar.

"I apologize for that," the man sighed as he laid some copper coins onto the bar counter, "Ameiko, whatever he's having, it's on me tonight." Then he raced back to the Cathedral with a plate of salmon, promising he'll return.

"Well, he's certainly in a rush," Ameiko smirked, before turning her attention to Tarnok, "So, Tarnok, what'll it be?"

Rane:

"Where else but the Rusty Dragon?" Ven chuckled slightly, walking towards the Inn with the young man. He then bellowed in a cheerful tone, "Ey, Ameiko! Two rounds of your best beer! On me!"

The other residents began to murmur slightly at Ven's oddly cheerful behavior, but then their attention was towards Mayor Deverin-with the same kobold who claimed to be Sandpoint's king.

Order of the posts:

Sorry for getting these mixed up-Tarnok, Ashleaf and Rane will walk into the Inn together, then in a few minutes Azzerix will appear.

Male Human Witch 1

"I'll try some of that mead after all."

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Tarnok:

"Some mead comin' up!" Ameiko said with a smile as she exited to the back to help cook it up. After about two to three minutes, the tankard of mead slid towards the Shoanti man.

"Eat up, sir!" Ameiko called as she returned to the kitchen.

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

Azzerix followed along after the mayor, before arriving at the inn. "...this is the dragon?" he asked, looking inside for a moment. "Then I claim this dragon to be conquered! I am the new dragon of Sandpoint! All shall heed my power!" he declared, punching his claws into the air.

Slipping through the crowd, Azzerix found what looked to be the biggest table he could find, clambering up and standing at it's center. "Lowly subjects! Bring me a proper throne! Your dragon has conquered your spicy fish, and now demands a seat of power!" He paused, looking back at the mayor before rolling his eyes and correcting himself. "No! Not demand! Requests! He REQUESTS a seat of power that suits his draconic might!"

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Azzerix:

Some of the residents raise a funny eyebrow, while one man grabbed a rather comfy chair and placed it behind the kobold.

"Here ya go, King Kobold," the man snickered, mocking a bow.

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

The druid may be a bit uncouth when it comes to social situations, but even he could read what was going on. The poor girl was ditched with the smelly guy as soon as it was evident that they'd have to spend time indoors. Ateria was clearly embarrassed, but felt some kind of duty to stick with him. The best thing he could do is at least have some entertainment for her. As he scanned the crowd heading toward the various inns for free food, he noticed the kobold heading toward the Rusty Dragon. It was good she wanted to go there, as it would be pretty lively with the strange creature there.

With the cougar still draped about his shoulders, he led the lady through the crowd, although if they let him get through easily, it was hard to say that the problem was that he smelled like fish, or the fact that he was tall and muscular. He was able to find a pair of seats at one of the tables, and he pulled back the chair for the lady. It was something his father always did for grandma, and it seemed appropriate to honor the girl who was willing to stick with him thus far by treating her with a bit of respect. He didn't offer that much for supportive or intriguing dialogue, although he did wave for some food to be brought.

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

As Ashleaf gets his lady friend taken care of, Azzerix looks over his new "throne", assessing if it was suitable to his needs. Having seat in it and testing it out, he concludes that it is indeed comfortable and sits well. "Excellent! Your dragon is pleased!"

He scans the inn's crowd, looking at the various faces before spying the half-elf. And his cat. "You!" he thundered, pointing a claw at Ashleaf. "You are the one who keeps the cat, yes?! You are strong... though your kitty must learn respect! You shall be the first of my personal minions!"

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Ashleaf:

Ateria blushed as she was guided towards the inn, and she blushed even more so when her chair was pulled towards her.

"Thank you," she smiled as she sat down, giving the half elf a sweet and sincere smile.

"Well, now, what can I get you two?" one of the inn's waitress's asked, but both were interrupted by the kobold barging in.

"Does that kobold really believe he's the king of Sandpoint?" Ateria asked the half-elf earnestly.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

...Apparently Mighty Azzerix ninja'd me

Male Human Witch 1

Assuming Rane is picking up his beer at the bar.

Tarnok eyed the man sitting next to him at the bar. He could recognize the marks of Shoanti heritage, even in one who had abandoned the traditional forms of dress.

"Tell me," he asked quietly, "why does the mayor tolerate such disrespect?"

Tarnok liked a joke as much as the next fellow, but at some point a joke turned into an insult.

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

Ashleaf smiles gingerly at the blushing girl until he is distracted by the waitress. "Special." He answered when she asked what he wanted. "And ale." he added, when it was appropriate. Varisians sure did have pretty eyes, and he was starting to enjoy their sparkle when their meal was interrupted.

As it became a bit clearer that the kobold had singled him out, the half elf took a look at Jarro who was avoiding eye contact. Of course it was the cat's fault, had he been able to control himself a bit better, they'd have easily passed without much attention from the kobold. Upon the small creature's declaration, he simply waved his hand dismissively. "No." He figured that was easy enough. Couldn't the kobold tell he was busy with more important things?

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

Azzerix just sat there in his chair for a bit, one of his little eyes twitching. Was he just... refused? Standing up, he placed his claws on his hips and slapped his tail on the ground behind him. "No? When a dragon gives you an order, especially one as glorious and honorable as being his personal guard, you don't refuse!"

He waved his claw at the female he was apparently entertaining. "You can continue your courtship dance now, but later, we have work to accomplish!" He went back to his task of scanning the other patrons of the inn, trying to discern who was the most suitable to accompany his glorious self.

Human Ranger 1 HP:12/12, AC 17, T 13, FF 14 Fort+3, Ref+5, Will+3, Init+3, perc+6

Rane eyed Tarnok's tattoos appraisingly, and set his ale aside before he answered. "I thought it was a mummer's play when I fisrt saw him. Now... I'm not sure. Maybe the gods tell them to care for the crazy? That sort of thing wouldn't be that strange a belief among city folk."

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Tarnok and Rane:

Ameiko stared at the two before addressing to Ven.

"So Ven, why in the good mood?" the woman joked, raising an eyebrow at the normally grumpy man.

"What, can't I buy some beer for the man who helped my business?" the man grumbled a bit, before seeing Rane talking to the Shoanti.

"Ey, Rane, know this guy?" he asked, slapping a hand on the man's (Rane's) shoulder.

"Apparently this is Tarnok," Ameiko smirked, handing a beer to a dwarven soldier, "I don't know him that much, but apparently Father Zantus does."

Ashleaf:

When the kobold told him he can continue his "courtship dance" later, her face turned deep red. She placed a hand on his, and responded with a smile, "It's alright, he needs you. We can continue this at a later date."

Azzerix:

The mayor tapped the kobold's shoulder and whispered with a slightly aggravated tone, "Well, you have one champion. You think you need more to...take on...the goblins?" It seemed like she was not liking the idea of the kobold trying to tame goblins, but at least she knew he's not on their side.

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

"...YES!" Azzerix cried, pounding his chest as he continued to eye the crowd. "More is better! Shows strength! ...you!" The kobold directed another clawed finger at Tarnok, recognizing him. "You nearly ruined my magnificent arrival! But... that can be forgiven! Because your tattoo is cool, so you shall have the honor of being one of my personal guards!"

His little eyes snap onto Rane, cocking his head to one side and scratching his maw a bit before nodding. "You as well! You shall be my 3rd talon! You look tough - not as tough as me - but strong enough! Step forward! I want to know your names!" He waved his claw at Ashleaf, shaking his head. "You are Catmancer. I'm sure it is a far more heroic name than whatever you had. Between that and the glorious title as Dragon Guard, you should have no issue finding suitable mates. You may return later."

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

As the druid saw his opportunity vanish right before his eyes at the insistent kobold, he began to believe that the small creature wasn't a help at all. He was no longer amused. He stood up, walking over to the tiny dragon and crossed his arms, looking cross. "Really?" he asked rhetorically.

Jarro padded after his fishing buddy, ready to back him up if needed. He took so much looking after, but he didn't have any other fishing buddies, so he'd just have to make it work.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Azzerix and Ashleaf:

The mayor raised an eyebrow at Ashleaf, and then sighed. "I apologize, but...well, I made a deal with the kobold-I mean dragon,", she corrected as she saw the kobold glare at her, "He needs to...recruit heroes to fight goblins."

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

Ashleaf looked at the kobold, still somewhat upset for chasing off the only girl that's paid him this much attention since his mother died. But his mother did die at the hand of goblins, so he was willing to take this on. He'd been preparing for something like this for a while, as goblins were almost a constant threat around these parts. He'd only killed a couple before, and Jarro had taken a few out as well, but if they were planning something big, this could be a bit over their heads. Having a few others on board was a good idea.

He waved over the others that were appraised to be strong, and pointed at the mayor to explain. He was still pretty miffed at the kobold, but he'd calm down eventually. She did promise to spend time with him later after all. Perhaps he could impress her more after coming back with a sack full of goblin ears.

Human Ranger 1 HP:12/12, AC 17, T 13, FF 14 Fort+3, Ref+5, Will+3, Init+3, perc+6

Rane looked down at the little creature. "You want me to serve you." It'd be insulting if it wasn't so funny. "All right." He half smiled at the kobold. Well, he'd been bored, the last week or so, and the kobold looked like a great alleviator of boredom. Might as well see where it went. "I'll be Rane, the Third Talon. This here," he grabbed Tarnok by the upper arm "is Tarnok, my kinsman. He won't serve you. They aren't big on that sort of thing, my kin. Ehh, Tarnok?"

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

Azzerix gave Ashleaf a mildly annoyed look at his constant insistence on this. "You are already a hearty mate. Being the First Talon of a white dragon will make you a highly desirable partner! Don't worry, you'll be able to make plenty of hatchlings. All better?"

Folding his arms, he tilted his head to one side at Rane's response, scratching his chin. He liked this one. "At last, some proper manners! But you shall not be Third Talon. Second, at the least, if not First! Catmancer is now Third Talon. Perhaps with the right respect, he can reclaim his title..." The kobold cast a yellow eye at the half-elf before appraising Tarnok. "He doesn't have to serve. Just follow my glorious lead! If the goblins submit to my rule, THEY will be serving me. There is a difference."

Male Human Witch 1

"Serve, no," Tarnok says, a smile crossing his face, "but I'm always interested in killing goblins."

If he was doomed to be surrounded by bad luck, Tarnok would at least make an effort to spread it to creatures that deserved it.

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

The half elf placed a large hand on the kobold's head for a moment. He looked intensely into the eyes of the tiny dragon, and he spoke but two words, filled with wisdom. "Earn respect." He patted the yet untested comrade as he would a pet, but since he was in the habit of training powerful predators, it was hardly an insult. If he had let him, it was likely Jarro would have had a fine dinner, but it would be better if he could be some use against the goblins.

Jarro took the gesture to mean that this kobold was part of the pack now. He padded over and gave the kobold a friendly but rough lick on the side of his face and rubbed against him, purring a little. He tasted good too, it was too bad he wasn't food anymore.

The druid took a look at the others that came up and he heartily nodded at the idea of killing goblins.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

All:

The mayor just gawked a bit, but laughed softly, "Guess we're gonna have some new heroes in Sandpoint?"

"If that's true," Ameiko yelled from the bar, "Those four can stay in the Inn for free for a full three days! And one free round for all tonight!"

The entire Inn exploded into hearty cheers as the maids handed out the first four tankards of beer to the "Winter Dragon" and his Three Talons.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Later, once the short-lived party died down, many of the others returned outside, where several of the townsfolk crowded around the four, asking questions from where did Tarnok came from, to whether or not Rane was in a relationship with Shayliss, and from whether Azzerix was sent by a dragon god, to various maidens asking Ashleaf if they can feed Jarro various meats.

I guess you guys can mess around a bit while we wait for Azzerix. I know he said I can bot for him, but I don't think I can make the Winter Dragon...the Winter Dragon.

Gathlain Bard (Flame Dancer) 8

Ashleaf took the drink, but he couldn't shake the feeling that Ateria was finding revelry without him, and reluctantly accepted such back slaps and accolades he was receiving. His mother had a similar send off, and she was now dead. He was not his mother, but a good many adventurers have had such a send off to their graves, or lack thereof.

Jarro flattened his ears at the noise, it was too loud in here. It would be better to be outside, so he wound his way around legs and then out the door, waiting outside until his fishing buddy was done with his noise. They both much preferred the quiet, and it would soon only be a bit of a wait until it was back with them, comforting them like a familiar blanket.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

After a little bit of conversation from the White Dragon and his champions, a sharp retort, like the crack of distant thunder, slices through the excited crowd as the sun's setting rays paint the western sky. A stray dog that has crawled under a nearby wagon to sleep starts awake, and the buzz of two dozen conversations-mainly about the kobold-quickly hushes as all heads turn towards the central podium, where a beaming Father Zantus has taken the stage. He clears his throat, takes a breath to speak, and-
Suddenly, a woman's scream slices through the air. A few moments later, another scream rises, then another. Beyond them, a sudden surge of strange new voices rise-high-pitched, tittering shrieks that sound not quite human. The crowd parts and something low to the ground races by, giggling with disturbing glee as the stray dog gives a pained yelp and then collapses with a gurgle, its throat cut open from ear to ear. As blood pools around its head, the raccous sound of a strange song begins.

Male Human Witch 1

Tarnok snarls low in his throat. Goblins...

He draws on the power surging within to call down misfortune on the nearest little beast. He tries to help it along by singing the traditional chant of his people, calling on the spirits for help.

Misfortune, will save of 13 or else have to roll all d20s twice and take the worse roll. Chant will extend the duration of misfortune from one round to two.

Bump: sorry link to the goblin song is down below. Don't know what happened-guess I must've messed up while I edited that post.

My favorite form of the Goblin Song

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Goblin #2 Will Save=Roll (1d20)-1; (15)-1 = 14

Surprisingly, the goblin isn't fazed by the Shoanti's curses-in fact, the little bugger doesn't even recognize he nearly avoided a hex.

I think Ashleaf said that Jarro can't act unless he's given commands by the half-elf, so I'm assuming as such.

Another goblin races towards Ashleaf, and tries to hack the half-elf his his blade! If the movement on the map provokes an attack of opportunity, let me know

Goblin #2 attack=Roll 1d20+3; 8+3=11

But the goblin's swipe missed!

Azzerix's turn! I think he's going to be returning today?

Male Kobold Sorceror/1

Azzerix sips at his drink as he looks around, answering questions for the curious softskins who spoke to him in his usual bravado. However, his moment of perceived adoration is ruined by the chanting of several scratchy, squeaky voices singing a horrible song.

His yellow eyes immediately snap to the new intruders, one of them twitching as he slammed his mug down and stood up as tall as he could. "IMPUDENT PEONS! You dare to interrupt my Arrival Festival!? You shall know the wrath of the Winter Dragon!!!"

His sights immediately snap to the goblin stuffing itself with salmon. HIS salmon! He had conquered it and it belonged to him! Walking towards the creature, he raised a claw and growled, a ball of white energy forming in his hand. "You will kneel before the mighty Azzerix... or I shall freeze your bones!" he ordered, firing a beam of ice at the little monster.

Moving to the goblin eating MY salmon and using Ray of Frost on him.

Rane sighed, and loosened one of the chakram from where it was bound on his belt. He kept the metal disks on him at all times - they were ideal weapons for hunting zombies and other shambling creatures that required more cutting power than a longbow could provide.

They were also good at taking out humanoids at close range. He'd killed a few robbers with them.

He drew his chakram, moved about to get a clear shot at the back ranks, and sent it whirling towards one of the goblins.

Move to position on Map (also put Azzerix somewhere he can shoot the salmon-goblin without it having cover) while drawing a chakram, then throw the chakram at Goblin #1. Within range of Point Blank Shot.

To hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

@Rane-Not entirely 100% sure if the goblin that Azzerix is targeting will get cover-either way, Azzerix misses.

The salmon stealing goblin notices the kobold's attack, and manages to duck and avoid being frozen.

"Me no know what Azzerix is," it cackled in glee, "But me bet it tasty!"

Then, surprisingly, the goblin jumps towards the lizard man, and swung his dogslicer down!

1d20 + 3 = (12) + 3 = 15, 1d4 + 1 = (4) + 1 = 5

While the kobold gets a huge cut in his upper shoulder, one of the other goblins didn't see the chakkram flying towards him. It impaled the little bugger's forehead, and the goblin stared at the bladed disk in awe before dropping backwards, clearly dead.

Goblin #1 is dead! Map is updated!

Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Once that goblin goes down due to an insistent Jarro, Ashleaf releases the staff from his strap that held it on, bringing it to bear on the goblin as well. These goblins picked the wrong party to crash, and it is seen in his face that he's ready to make them leave.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Jarro takes 5 foot step and attacks goblin south of Ashleaf with a full attack. Ashleaf takes out his quarterstaff and strikes at the likely dead goblin with a powerful but inaccurate blow.

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

The goblin that tried to attack Ashleaf had soon regret his mistake, as a firepelt cougar appeared behind the half elf and mutilated the little vermin so fast that the longshark missed the dead goblin.

Goblin #3 is dead! Also, I'm gonna take the round of initiative and say that the remaining goblin has already had his turn cutting into the kobold. So...

Goblin #2
Tarnok
Goblin #3 (dead)
Azzerix (3 hp remaining)
Rane
Goblin #1 (dead)
Ashleaf

Tarnok's turn!

Male Human Witch 1

Tarnok focuses on the remaining goblin and calls down the attention of hostile spirits upon it while maintaining his chant.

evil eye, -2 to AC; will save reduces the duration to 1 round but the chant extends the duration

Male Kobold Trainee Game Master 1

Goblin #2 Will save: 1d20-1=(6)-1=5

The goblin's courage was quickly consumed by confusion, then fear, as it shrieked, "What are the voices in me head?! Get them out!!"

Just realized-Tarnok, can you write down the descriptions of the hexes that have a DC save on your profile? It'll help out. Thanks

Azzerix's turn!

EDIT: Just realized the attack on Azzerix didn't land. Nevermind, the kobold's at full health
