Thanks for...ZZZTTTT.... the...ZZZZZTTKKKK....the concern...BraMMMMZZZZKKKKKKK...bleKnight...[SYSTEM FAILURE!SYSTEM FAILURE!]

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Did not know we were going to heal her, but if the plan is to keep her PC around, then we definitely need to include her.

Sczarni

I believe we were going to keep her around until we got to town. Then she is on her own. I think.

Think that indeed is the plan. Then we can decide if we need a replacement?

Hopefully journey to Deeptown will be relatively encounter free...

Okay now for some tough decisions... we've a bunch of prisoners (who I know are worth more alive than dead) but how we get them all back and escort them etc might be more hassle than its worth...

Skane's call [as I mentioned in the game thread] is to end a few... heads are easier to carry after all ;)

Also is there a bandit encampment to scout out? Is the booty just from the defeated foes or also from there as well?? We also need to question the leader methinks...

Anyhoo - the headtakings not written in stone and Skane will listen to any good council...

Sczarni

I have updated the LOOT page. Feel free to check it out through my profile page.

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Very nice...thanks Rianna!

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Countless and Bjorn - You guys should check out the Northlands publication on Paizo today...just a heads up!

@Dieredon - thanks for the heads up man; purchased and downloaded ;) At first glance looks pretty cool, some interesting background colour and traits/feats for vikings...

Have just skimmed it, but loads of content... feels like its stealing a march a little on the Linnorm Kings PFRPG supplement out later this year [were gild rules, duelling, reputation etc...] Still we can never get enough Vikings lol.

@Rianna - again great work - much appreciated.

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

NP, Countless, I knew that you would like it! I am about halfway through Abercrombie's Heroes...is the Bloody Nine still alive? No wait...don't tell me...

Not much posting activity in the last 24 hours. I hope everything is on schedule???

I'll get a post up today. Didn't get much time to squeeze in a post.

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

No big deal...just got concerned based on our previous pace. I am really enjoying this PbP, and I would not want to see it tail off like some others that I have been involved with. :-)

@ DMRandall: Yeah no probs, given your recent addition to the family I'd say we're blessed the pbp is still kicking.

Can I also second Dieredon by saying how much fun I'm having - everyone is coming into their own and the characters and challenges have been superb.

@Dieredon: Re- the Bloody Nine... can't say but there's some epic confrontations coming ;) Enjoy!

Sczarni

I've added Dieredon's list, but not the others. My concern is, I don't want to add something we can't carry to the next town and sell.

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

We will be trying to get a wagon from our employer...I was hoping there may at least be a cart at the bandit camp.

+1 on the cart... alas doesn't seem so, unless its off picking apart the merchant caravan of course!

Think the Northmen should oversee the goods and captives until someone returns with a wagon... We should be able to handle anything that snoops by...

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Sounds good to me. Since I may need Rianna's smooth talking with the Caravan leader, I should probably take her back with me on horseback. Wesh can stay too...if he likes? Is that ok with you Rianna? We should be right back, and Betony is already there.

Sczarni

Fine with me. Just out of curiosity, how many of the bandits are still alive and how many are awake?

Lost my hard drive on my laptop. I have replaced it but need to load Windows 7, so I'm stuck posting here at work for today and probably tomorrow.

OUCH! I was looking at replacing my hard drive with a bigger one, any suggestions?

@Rianna: No suggestions on hard drive...sorry. I was under the impression that the Leader and the one Betony brought in were the only ones alive and awake. Some of the others are alive but unconscious. Likely bleeding out as we speak.

Sczarni

I would try to stop the bleeding. They are worth more alive. Except the one that hit me, of course.

Yeah Bjorn will likely open that one to the elements...

Suggesting that me and the wild man watch the prisoners and goods, while the rest of you go get a wagon? Take back the good items, for a fun campfire divvying later??

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Wesh can stay with you too, if he wants I can only take one back by horseback, and he may be able to rtemper your bloodlust as well as make the necessary heal checks to increase our prisoner take.

True - Wesh proved himself well in battle and has more than earned the chance to help ease their passing. Back to the mud indeed ;)

Fry's Electronic had a 500GB laptop hard drive for $50 that I purchased last night. That seems to be about the standard fee. If you're not in America (although I got the impression you're in CDT), I don't know what the prices are for electronics.

Sczarni

I have updated the loot sheet. Just need to know what some of those vials are and what's in the locked chest. Any rogues in the group? Or do I have to take those skills next level? ;)

Rianna Stendrei wrote:

Bjorn can open that lock. Of course, the only lockpick he possesses is his trusty scythe, so the lock won't work again.

Indeed we Northmen fear no lock... chest or chastity belt all are opened with a little blunt force trauma ;)

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

@Rianna: I will try to pick them up too, but we definitely need those skills. Maybe we can aid each other after we have taken them. That will be the best we can do.

I think Bjorn is going to be busy with several extended Survival checks and won't be able to immediately work on that locked chest.

Regarding the lock picker, trap snapper question... if the need is enough then we could try and recruit a rogue in Deeptown... though if the skills can be covered by Dieredon & Rianna (and you guys are good with that - then cool).

To matters more at hand... don't be too quick with that wagon guys we've skull cups to fashion and wine to ibibe ;)

I'm cool with it. Making my character more of a skill monkey.

That's just disgusting. Hope I don't stumble upon that IC.

Rianna Stendrei wrote:

Really does anything these boys get up to surprise you? Guess it is a little disgusting and barbaric... but that's your friendly neighbourhood Northmen for you! ;)

Besides Bjorn will no doubt toast Rianna's voice/charms/?????

Rianna Stendrei wrote:

Does Rianna want a cup, too? I'm pretty sure there are enough there for cups for everyone, even their employer and his manservant.

Apologies for the delay in posting. We had storms roll in last night and just as I was finishing my post the electricity starting going out and then back on. It did this about 12-15 times in rapid succession and shorted out another computer on me. Now I'm waiting to install Windows 7 on the laptop with the replaced hard drive for a computer at home. Oh, and my shift changed today so I start at 11 pm and work to 7:30 am. I think this will put me more in line with many of the other players.

Rianna does not yet know of the skulls as she has been with Dierdon and away from the prisoners and northmen (which may now include Wesh).

You are correct. For some reason I thought I was still there when it was first mentioned.

If this is the case, she would have gone back with Dierdon. Much to her dismay when she actually gets back. :-p

Any thoughts on divvying up the loot folks? Do it on the road/breakfast or in Deeptown when we sell everything??

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

In game, doing it on the road makes sense, and then just splitting the proceeds from the sale of all remaining items when we reach Deeptown. We may be able to make use of some items on the way if they are divided up now.

In that vein, I would like to throw my hat ito the ring for one of the Alchemist's Fire and one of the two healing potions. I suggest everyone else weigh in on what they would like from the usable items at this point.

Skane will take dibs on either the Mage Armour potion or one of the Shield's of Faith... not fussed either way to be honest. Mage Armour lasts an age, but also might better serve one of the lower AC members of the party...

Presuming for flavour the Barkskin would fit with either Bjorn or Brambleknight??

Are "fine" quality weapons MW? If so we've a MW Silver Dagger, MW Rapier [Rianna?] if not its only a MW Halberd...

Hopefully (as a group) we'll have a decent amount of coin to spend in Deeptown [upgrade equipment/weapons/armour] in addition to a hopeful raise in level :)

Sczarni

@GM: Can you give me a list of what was bought by Aleph? Also, I'm assuming when you put "fine" you mean masterwork. How much for me to keep the "Fine" Rapier?

Female Gnome Cavalier 2; Knight of the Shield

My AC and HP are sufficient that some one else should take these buffs

@Skane - Remember that Mage Armour is an armour bonus and will not stack with your armour.

Bjorn will prepare Mending on the morrow and work to restore the broken armour and weapon. He will work on them in this order:

1. "Fine" Studded Leather Armour
2. Hide Armour w/Armoured Kilt
3. Leather Armour
4. Hide Armour

Upon seeing the kilt, Bjorn would be interested in it so long as it does not violate his armour proscriptions. As for the potions, Bjorn has no preference.

Aleph would probably buy every weapons and arms available since he could get Ghafar to work on the broken stuff.

Anything that's described as fine, superior, perfect, excellent should mean masterwork pieces for clarification.

The MW rapier would cost 128 gp to buy back at 40%.

Putting an armored kilt would change hide armour from medium to heavy category at a +1 AC bonus. That needs a feat.

Since Bjorn remembered to pray for mending and will spend his time repairing the broken items, Aleph would carefully pat him on the back and pay him for his services. I just need him to play it out in the IC post.

Rianna:
Aleph's bought off:
Bolt 38 = 152 cp
Dagger 2 = 80 cp
Greataxe 2 = 16 gp
Greatclub 5 = 10 gp
Handaxe 2 = 48 sp
H crossbow 4 = 80 gp
Hide armor 2 = 12 gp
Broken hide armor 9 = 405 sp
Leather 1 = 4 gp
Broken Leather armor 2 = 6 gp
Light Crossbow 3 = 42 gp
Short Sword 3 = 12 gp
M Halberd = 124 gp
M Rapier = 128 gp
M SilverDagger = 128 gp 4 sp
Broken M Studded Leather = 49 gp

Good point. Bjorn will pass on the armoured kilt.

@ Bjorn - yeah thanks man, forgot about it not stacking... I might actually go with the armoured kilt. It would move Skane to wearing Heavy Armour, but his movement would still be 20ft in armour... mmmm yeah if its do-able I probably will... (presumihg the kilt can be seperated from the hide armour?)

I'll either dibs a healing potion or the aforementioned Shield of Faith (which I think does stack...)

I think it would be simpler if everyone took the divided gold from selling the mundane and MW items that amounts to 124 gp each. If anybody's interested in getting off the loot, they would post the shopping list and buy back the items at same price.

Bjorn:
I'll calculate how much Aleph owes you for the repairs once complete. After that it's your initiative whether to share.

Just discovered an oversight on my spells for today. I left off my domain spell. Then again, I only have one and I can't leave it empty to fill in later with another spell, so maybe I didn't need to mention it after all. Here endeth the ramble.

Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)

Ok, so we all get the 124GP that you originally indicated in the game thread. Sounds good, my payoff the Aleph still stands and I will pocket the balance. As for items not already assigned. There is only one Cure Moderate not already assigned previously. Please set aside a potion of Alchemist's fire for me. It looks like both Countless and I want the potion of cure moderate - want to roll for it Countless?

Sczarni

I will leave the items on the sheet for another day. Everyone can post what they want and then I'll remove what's not bought back and put a 'x' in the appropriate column for who took what. Other suggestions are always welcome.
