Amarandlon squeezes his eyes shut, trying desperately to disbelieve the illusion... if we get another save/round, that is!
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
When he opens his eyes, he smiles. "An excellent blow, Hasshin! Come, let me help..."
Focusing his mind, he destabilizes te air around the real Dalsine.
Reveal weakness: -1 to his AC and saves for 1 round.

Hasshin turns to strike a beautiful blow and then falls unconscious. Amarandlon uses his mastery of the void to destabilizes Dalsine's defenses.
Chalfon Dalsine, satisfied of his deed, slips to the side and attacks Callan, charging a spell in his weapon which is charged with electricity. The second blow hits the rager in the chest and leaves him staggered. Thanks to the rage.
"Hahaha, what did you expect, foolish lot?" shouts Chalfon Dalsine over the crisping sound of the electricity running into Callan's body.

"I won't let you fall..." He points his wand toward Hasshin.

"What do I expect?" Erevan says in response to Dalsine. "I expect this encounter to end in your death, you craven cur! En garde!"
The half-elf leaps over the stair's railing and lands next to the man, and continues to attack in the defensive stance of the Aldori sword lords.

Amarandlon's eyes widen when he sees the blows falling on Callan and Hasshin. Better them than me, I suppose... Summoning his energy, he makes a desperate push against their foe's mind. "Dalsine! I demand you STOP!" His voice rings out with supernaturally potency.
Cast daze on Dalsine; DC 15 will save or he loses his next actions.

Jiggo rushes to heal Hasshin who gets on his feet as if nothing happens, spitting on the ground of the manor. Erevan tries once again to hit Dalsine but his blow is too weak to go through his armor. Amarandlon casts a spell but the man shakes it off.

Callan is up!

Sorry, Blizzard duties here in DC! Please feel free to BOT me anytime to keep things moving!
Callan, still tingling from the flow of electricity and the sting of steel continues to Rage against the Dalsine bellowing,
"Forget you, I wont do what you tell me!" as he swings again on the scoundrel, barely holding on to consciousness.

Wow, amazing blow, Callan!
Callan unleashes his rage at his full potential and delivers a mighty blow that makes the magus stagger. However, he still stands as the rager fades into unconsciousness.
The magus has a relieved expression when he sees the half-orc bleeding on the ground and tries to use his spell combat once again on Erevan! The wound he had last round was too much for him to handle and he looses the spell he casts, barely hitting Erevan. Thanks to your dodge bonus :)

Thanks dice. Callan is at 2 HP and stable.
"Quckly! Overpower him. I can't do this forever..."

I may have missed it, but when did Callan go from 0 to -7 HP? No real matter as my Ginger buddy Jiggo is always there in a pinch! Thx pal!

Amarandlon snarls a curse and, pulling out the wand he got from Janira Gavix, aims it at their foe. This better work... Flames jet out of the wand, swirling around Dalsine.
Move action: draw wand. Standard: burning hands! DC Not sure exactly what happens when you don't have room for a spell's full area of effect, but I'm assuming it just stops at the wall...if not, I may change my action (if needed to avoid hurting friends). A 15' cone would hit Dalsine and the squares immediately around him, and normally extend beyond him but it looks like there's a wall.
Burning Hands: 3d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 4) = 12 Fire damage. DC 13 Reflex save for half.

![]() |

In my understanding, it stops at the wall.
Ref save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Flames are unleashed from Amarandlon's wand and Dalsine didn't expect such elemental force coming from the elf's wand. He fails to avoid any part of the flames and falls on the ground, unconscious.
Combat Over!
Chalfon being defeated, you find Muesello’s items that were taken during the raid, successfully completing the mission given to you by the venture-captain. With these key pieces of evidence missing, the Pathfinder Society can no longer be linked to the Dawnflower Blossoms. Further exploration of the Dalsine home uncovers Chalfon’s diary, which can fill in any of the remaining background information about Chalfon Dalsine and serve as evidence to absolve you of any guilt in Baron Jacquo’s death or the other recent conflicts in Oppara.
As for the Shadow Lodge plot to bring the conflict within the Society’s factions to all-out war, both Qadira and Taldor factions recognize that their respective heads were manipulated by the Shadow Lodge, and the Grand Lodge helps smooth things over, ensuring that all members of the Pathfinder Society maintain a level of cooperation necessary to end the Shadow Lodge threat once and for all.
Scenario completed, well done everyone! That was a closer call than I thought on the last fight! :)
As you didn't deal any damage to the militia (in act 1), you also succeeded in not raise awareness on your actions and succeed the secondary mission.

Dalsine, like any self respecting Magus, deals a ton of burst damage, but he's pretty fragile.
"Good one, Amarandlon! Mister Chalfion will be held responsible." He gives the man some first aid while mocking his name. "He has a lot to answer for."
"I only hope I can help you better in the future. My slow reactions cost us dearly."

![]() |

Well done, everyone! Yes, that last fight got a little sketchy, but we came through! Thanks for running that, Zinou! :)

![]() |

"Ouch! I mean eh... just a scratch. Now this pompous ass must have some Varisian whiskey around here somewhere!"
Callan's years as a gladiator taught him that little helps heal the wounds of battle better than liquor (besides magic or real medicine, of course!)
Great game all!

Amarandlon smirks and blows smoke from the tip of his wand. "Those of you who know Janira Gavix can thank her for that when next you're in Absalom." With that, he squats down and begins to search Dalsine for any signs of a spellbook or other magical writings.
Well done, all!
