The demons don't have much, but there is a very nice, shiny, magical, and very expensive looking adamantine mace adorned with Iomadae holy symbols in the corner of the room. There are other destroyed items in the room: Armor completely mauled into misbegotten forms, sunrods snapped in twine, backpacks shredded to pieces.


Oh, and who is carrying the rod of cancellation by the way?

Gorn leads the party to P7. The shrine here is more thoroughly desecrated by the enemy, and will take a bit more than 20 minutes of work to clean up.

You find the secret door here that Irabeth mentioned. There is no obvious way to access it. It is also beyond Aenthurien's ability to pick currently (DC 30 Disable Device).

P9 contains a fully stocked masterwork alchemy lab.

You do find the alchemist's recipe book in P9, and his tools, but not much else.

EDIT: It looks like the alchemist was working on some sort of supernatural disease, though he hasn't gotten very far.

I don't sense a clear direction the party wants to take. The two main lines are the locked doors. The secret door in P7 and the normal door in P4. There are also a few things you can do in P9 and P7. What are you doing?

You begin cleaning Iomadae's shrine. You right some pews, clean up a lot of the blood off the floor, and do your best to upright the statues that were defaced. On one of the statues, Gorn finds some words written on its base: "Let us inherit thine arms, Iomadae."

About 20 minutes pass while you clean.

The current cultist defenders above seem content on leaving you alone it seems.

Assuming the pious types are, the hulking orc nabs the newly discovered sky iron mace and goes to 'open' some doors. Gunna smash the door leading to P4.

There is no switch around.

The solid wooden door is no match for Na'shok and his new adamantine mace +1. With 2 solid hits, he breaks down the door. Inside along one wall of this long room stands a smashed sideboard. A stone staircase leads upstairs. There are two dretches standing guard here, who were surprised that the door fell so quickly. They look more muscled, intelligent, and meaner than ones you fought previously.

Both demons cast Cause Fear at Na'shok and Gorn, respectively. Will save DC 13 or be frightened for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds. Save to be shaken for 1 round
