Chuffy: That's just what makes it so different.. is the fact that although I keep my head on a swivel and know that it can happen, no one expects it to. Second, is that although I have been in combat and been in rough situations, this is the first time that I was unarmed and helpless.. that makes a hell of a difference!!

It absolutely makes a difference, man. Doing what I do, I carry my back-up gun everywhere I go and especially so if I have my son with me. My wife thinks I'm a little paranoid, but she also hasn't seen the things I've seen and just how quickly things can go from la-de-da to "Omg, this guy is pointing a gun at me."
When I first got home from my deployment in 2008 I hated no having a weapon with me all the time. I started carrying a large knife (luckily Indiana is pretty chill with their knife laws) just for some peace of mind.

Unfortunately, yes. The WBG series is awesomely fun to play but the rewards kind of blow. It is one xp and one pp per chronicle for each of the four missions.
I'm just glad it wasn't because we missed something. :)

I'm all for running Chuffy again, although I suddenly have the problem that this campaign thread seems to have completely disappeared from my campaign page???
Chuffy: I don't know why it would have disappeared completely?? I did change the name of the thread to remove the Gameday notation, but it should have just moved to an alphabetical order and not disappeared. Try posting again in gameplay.. if nothing else that will put it back on your campaign tab.
Edit: All of you are listed in both your main alias and your PC alias as active players on my campaign tab.. so it should be on each of your tabs.. This is what I see:

I've got it back now! I think the website may have had a hiccup after the name changed. I'll get Chuffy updated today while I sit in my squad car staring at the -17F temperature on the thermostat... it's literally colder here than it is in Alaska right now.

Dear god, Chuffy. I hope you are keeping warm and staying safe!! I am mostly from south Texas, and these yankee winters are killing me! I keep threatening the wife that one day she's going to wake up and I will be southbound, but she just laughs at me and tells me to suck it up!
Sorry work was overwhelming this week and I lost track for some games. Likely an effect of getting less than 5 hours of sleep a day. Things are winding down now, though so I good to go!

Hah! I don't blame you, I was born in San Antonio, but moved around due to my dad being a pilot in the Air Force. Still, I think I've got southern blood, because I absolutely hate the cold. Especially when it's THAT cold.

hey guys, if you could please Pop Over Here and update for the new characters, I would greatly appreciate it.
WBG is tier 1-2. As such not only is it replayable, but you don't have to switch characters from the credit assigned during WB4 if you don't want to. Just update the rest of the numbers if you are not changing the character.

Same character and exp and gold is listed but I didn't fill in the day job as I don't think we roll for day jobs when you play a pregen/npc character. Do we?
If we do, she will take ten for a 25 on her roll(craft:sculpture 10, +5 for crafter's fortune,+10 for take ten= a 25).
So far all she has is the Goblins credit.
Mogmurch: That is correct. For these Pregens, there is no dayjob roll; that is just part of my spreadsheet.

I believe the rule with Pregens is if the pregen has a skill that can be rolled as a day job then you may. Otherwise no.

Hey all, I'm so very sorry about my unexplained absence! Friday I came down with some sort of stomach bug that knocked me down HARD! I left work early Friday and then slept for 24 hours straight. I then spent the next three days in and out of variable levels of feverish consciousness. I don't know that I've ever been that weak from a sickness before, even when I got a bad case of the flu a few years ago.
I hope you are feeling better. I got that sick once. It was horrible.
Yes, I hope you recover soon. That sounds terrible.

Never cross the WIFEY! Hey, how is she doing by the way? Best wishes to you both and I hope she is healing well.
After her last surgery and finally getting her meds fixed right, she is doing very well, thank you! She is up and around a bit more all the time and has even begun looking for a job! We will have to have her other leg operated on at some point but at least she is able to move around and walk again!
That is all great news! I am really happy to hear it too. You have been through it for sure, and it must feel nice to be coming out the other side. Cheers!
