Seinal notices Finnigin heading off to the bar alone. He starts to head off to try performing a reading, or perhaps spar with Sixth, but pauses and says over his shoulder to Fortune Slayer, "So you said I should try to live for other things besides revenge... I suppose I could use a break."

He changes directions and heads after O'Mally. Entering the bar a minute or so later, he sees the halfling alone nursing a pint. He walks up and takes a seat next to him and hails at the bartender, "Brandywine, if you please. Something of decent quality would be appreciated."

He looks down at the man next to him, "I hope you don't mind company. I'm surprised not to see Balik here."

Excited that someone actually joined him, Finnigin's expression immediately turns to one of glee.

Mind?! Of course I don't! Take a Seat! Bartender, the drink's on me!

He thinks about Balik.

She is a free spirit, I would probably not be able to catch her if I tried. I am sure we will do something while in town. Until then, a good drinking binge with friends!

He raises his glass and toasts.

So where are you from? What's your story?

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

This is a large but very old town mostly made up of farm folk.
As Balik wanders the countryside she can see the deep scars from millenia of battle, and the neverending power of nature to heal. Yet she hears little of Avorals and must simply enjoy an evening on the wing.

Kyomi manages to find some rather wealthy antiques dealers who make a brisk trade in relics dug up from the countryside. While wealthy they seem more interested in being fat and fed than any other pursuit. Make a spellcraft or knowledge arcana check please Kyomi

Canim in his short float around town was soured by a group of gawking children and a pair of dogs that followed him for a few blocks. Apparently enjoying the oppurtunity of floating derriere. However it seems fortune smiled on him and he was in fact able to find the smoking lodge of the local circle of wizards. Where he is able to gain a bit of celebrity for being a rare and exotic breed of mage.

Norbert and Byron manage to make a killing selling potions of endurance and strength to the local men and more than a few cheap scrying devices to their suspicious wives.

Canim is able to find an interesting passage about a mage who being inspired by the guns of Alkenstar, wrote up plans for a set of magic rings that would allow him to extract, crystalize and the launch his own blood at his enemies. However it seems it was never completed or tested.

Cilian is able to stave off temptation for another time.

Cilian looks at the ring, but decides against using its magic for now.

he said it was different from a regular ring, so maybe holding onto this isn't the best idea.

Cilian once again changes his appearance to one of an old man wearing blue robes. He asks around town to try and find any old noble who is rich. If he finds one he heads to the noble's home, and asks to speak with the master of the house.

Norbert:
I am aware that such items don't have an ingame equivalent however minor alchemical mixtures that make one feel a rush of energy or strength are easy and nonmagical technically not a scam but not giving as much affect as one might imagine, like energy drinks that don't really work. As for the scrying devices they work mostly like linked dowsing devices, for example two buttons one of which provides a slight tugging sensation in the direction of the other, with a range of only a few miles. Once activated the enchantment only lasts a day, but is otherwise handy. I believe in high magic worlds where minor magical trinkets that provide little in game value unless you get really creativ are common. Unless you are specifically making potions powerful enough to have an in system advantage. I generally rule most trinkets can be made if they have roughly the equivalent power of a cantrip. I generally argue it should be something the maker could cast almost causually and you could make a similar trinket. I encourage creativity so if you want to come up with ideas like this of your own thats fine. Also you guys made about 2,000 gold.

A ring that will grant you one wish. I have no need for it since I have used the first two wishes, but I thought that maybe I could trade it for something you have. I am currently looking for a manual on how to craft golems. While the ring could create such a manual I am not sure it would be accurate. I had heard that you possess such a book. Sixth is somewhere around town looking at the sky and thinking about what they have done in the past few days.
"You know, Seventh, we were very lucky to come to Andoran. After having Taldor chasing us who could think that we would find no trouble around here? Only opportunities. This could be a nice country to live in...

He just stands there, waiting for something, maybe something important, but nothing happens. There's a big house not far away, and smaller ones in all directions. People come and go this time of the afternoon, usually in no hurry, but they all pass some steps away from him, avoiding getting too close.
"Even the skies look better from here... it's peaceful... I'm starting to get bored... maybe we should look after some trouble?"

Byron takes his earned cash and weighs it in his hand.

Not what I need but enough to get started.

Byron set out on the town collecting necessary materials. A small slab cold-steel set him back. He would rather have purchased a slab of adamantine but that was too expensive and hard to work. Cold-steel was the next best choice, it's construction made magic flow smoother through it.

Next he collected materials for the construction of a harness. He wanted to make sure the glove could support his entire weight without dislocating his arm. He also bought clasps for crating a quick release mechanism around his wrist. He had no idea how to actually make this work so he visited a local merchant who specialized in climbing gear, one Byron found a design he like he touched it using the gloves he developed.

Engineers Workgloves

Instantly he understood everything he needed to about the harness.

Lastly he might some cheap crystals for holding the magical pattern. These were temporary and would have to be replaced later once the magic and the prototype was ready.

He brought them back to his room and began to work feverishly.

Craft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

The harness was going to be long and hard work, Byron understood this wasn't his strong suit but the magic seemed very promising.

The bartender sends a boy off to the cellar who returns shortly with a small brown bottle with a black and white label. The bartender pulls out set of three cool shot glasses and pours each full with an amber liquid that smells of spice and cedar. After sometime just contemplating, Sixth walks around, taking a look through the windows of the big, decorated house he was just appreciating, and moves in a random direction.

GM:
Sixth will try to find the guard station or jail, if there is such a thing in this tiny town. He will turn invisible when someone opens the entrance door and stealthily get in. Will take a look at the boards and over the constable's table, watching for any letters related to us or the like.

Male Kobold (reincarnated as) Human level 6 DungeonMaster/Level 2 Munchkin

Kyomi you might take a while to get there, you're busy
Sixth finds the Constables station in shocking disgrace as it appears all of the town guard suffer some sort of disability or are in denial about their peers. There are few posts on the board and all of them are quite out of date.

Sixth:
A gentleman in lumberjack's clothing comes up to you after you leave the constable, "If you could encourage your associate to remove the constable as violently as possible without getting caught that would be appreciated"

As Cilian waits politely for the better part of an hour in the foyer of the merchant, a small mousy man in glasses comes up to him. "I hear you have an item of some worth, I might be interested in cutting out the middle man I have two golem manuals and I'm willing to trade one for your item if it's real."
