Don't fell like that Capt. We've had a vertiginous decrease in posting frequency, and your post was useful to warning everyone and the GM about it. If Tobaris had explained that before we kept wondering about it we would not have been anxious for the game.

And of course, Tobaris is in a lot of other games, so we get a little jealous about that.

Capt you weren't being an 'a$&'. You were not only warning us about what had happened, but also you were bringing up your concerns. There is no reason to not bring up a concern if you feel like it needs to be addressed. That is what this tab is here for.

If you are having trouble with Grimward and you can't find anything to invest him in I could work with you on a new character but I can't do substitutions often since it breaks up the story usually.

I actually do like Grimward, it's just that I think he needs a rework to fit into this style of campaign. Would it be okay if:

Hey Grimward, perhaps you should get involved in one of the several character central sub-plots or create one of your own... Perhaps play on the whole partially divine thing. Perhaps he is compelled to act more saintly or develops weird traditions like many religions IRL. Maybe in a way he is developing his own idea of what it means as he goes along, ether way you have to manifest it and let it show in your words and actions.

Hmm, maybe you're right. If I can rework Grimward I think I may be able to be more useful and perhaps work a few sub-plots.

By the way, have anyone else applied for the WotW campaign?

I'm DMing a WotW campaign as a home game and I have been considering trying it out on play-by-post.

I'm withdrawing. Just not really integrated in the group.

I played a wotw game but it died before we really got all the way out of the prison.

I think she is around, but In the current state of this game it is best for her to focus on the one she's running. Once we get some visions and leave this time-cursed camping place she will return.

Tobaris is missing since monday, so I will also wait a couple more days to see if this 'test' of his is finished.

still here - a bit distracted since friday (band dad stuffs..). as stated earlier, ensuring I'm keeping up with the games I'm running. also back at work with gov't, so some of the other things I was doing have piled together. Ddicated catching-up at the moment :)

On a positive note, the Parkview High School Marching Band did excellently at their competition this weekend - 2nd place and in increase of over 10 points in their score (72 -> 84)! Go Band!

still here. i was one of the more recent posters, although im not sure what is happening. Avorals landed, but Canim isnt one of the prophesiers.

We're actually just waiting for Tobaris to throw us a bone. At this rate I'm just waiting for him to admit he is busy with other campaigns and close this once and for all, cause being this slow makes it hard for the memory to work properly...

Oh I'm sorry Byron, I'm not trying to 'force everyone to my pace', I just see Tobaris is busy with other projects, but I'll keep quiet and wait, as I've done for a while.

Don't forget, Tobaris has said he doesn't post on weekends.

While I do have many projects I make a point of posting at least once a day on weekdays unless life gets in the way. If the pace for the game is not suiting you perhaps you could look into some others. I won't take offense if this game and it's pace just aren't for you.

I'm fine with it. when my games arent moving fast enough i just join more. I love making new characters anyway.

perhaps we should roll luck to see if the force of being slammed off my feed spread out all of my gear.

so this is terribly embarrassing, but when i said "fireball" earlier, i meant my flaming sphere (the one i had created the round prior).

I am not high enough level (level 5) to cast fireball (although i suppose you could have thought i bought a wand, which i did not).

But Canim, we all anticipated you ate rusty nails and belched fireballs. Don't deflate our expectations now!

Also, I know how crazy Byrons plan is I am fully willing to accept that it will get him killed and possibly fail at the same time. Let the dice roll!

True Canim I had forgotten but stat wise most of what it did was set things on fire so no worries.

The red outline sixth is an area effect of black spores. The Avoral who caused it is dead now.

sorry for how obnoxiously long my post was but if I'm going to face off against something that outclasses me by that much then it will take every inch of plot I can muster.
