hrmm.. now I'm really thinking... magic tattoos for beast shapes, or elemental shapes, or plant shapes, or dragon shapes. I've currently got families of tattoos dancing in my brain - one-offs, wild shape/shapeshift driven ones, ones that in some way simulate the feat 'aspect of the beast'.
Drat - doing some concrete research, it seems that there's a proliferation of specific mechanics: wild shape, skinwalkers, ranger shapechanging archetype, lycanthropy, and shapechanger subtype. I'll bet there are others specific to racial type. <sigh> Another circumstance where no one noticed they were proliferating variations of mechanic and interaction of mechanics. The attempt to consolidate the effects on the 'xyz shape' spells are positive, but then folks got 'fluffy', and stopped writing magic items, class abilities, and feats to tie back to core mechanics. <double sigh>

So for his first Summon I decided to go with the cobalt. It just seemed funner.
Also the thought is that he is not made of dirt and wood but is pulling out all of the carbon and rearranging material components.
Tobaris
I think that fits well Byron and I would say for retraining purposes, as it says in Ultimate Campaign it takes 7 days per class level to retrain a class, however with Sixth's help you won't have to pay the GP cost as you already have a free trainer.
Balik I think if you want to wing it when it comes to bringing the various polymorphic spells and abilities together I will work with you on that since plunging into unfamiliar personal territory is a theme in this campaign.
Cilian
To be batman he would have many things happen to him. One would be to lose both of his parents, so give Cilian 20 GP, and Seventh will be one more step closer to being batman.
Cilian
Well of course I would that's why I'm only charging 20 GP. Getting money is secondary in that job, but it's the principle of the money that matters.

You see this is where Cilian and Kyomi differ, Cilian, enjoys killing, the feeling he gets when seeking his victims die.
Where as if Kyomi can destroy someone by taking away from them every thing they love and hold dear then that is just useful.
Cilian will look into the eyes of his victims to see the life flow out of them.
Kyomi looks to see how effective that particular blade work was.
Cilian: Is a psychopath, he derives enjoyment form hes acts [Someone with 'empathy' but no remorse for there victims] for Cilian its the kill that counts, ok your still dead but its just pleasure, and some business.
Kyomi: Is a high functioning sociopath [in the classic seance. Someone with diminished empathy and remorse for there victims.] for Kyomi its the skill that counts, ok your still dead but its just 100% business.
So saying all that, you should all sleep well at night knowing we are both so very very close, so very very close.
:)

I hear him more like Sydney Greenstreet myself, from Casablanca.
"Might as well be frank, monsieur. It would take a miracle to get you out of Casablanca, and the Germans have outlawed miracles. " Signor Ferrari AKA Sydney Greenstreet

Hah Tarly is too weak. At his most innocent, I imagine Dr Robotnik.
Byron Swiftwater
I think things have finally really clicked for Byron as a character. Before he could be a bit overwhelming. Even once he had a change of heart he was getting really intense and really couldn't sustain that and become a likeable character. He needed a foil. Someone to take him down some pegs and humanize him.
I had a ton of inspiration from the Dr Who Christmas special and "Handles" one of the best characters that show has ever had, why only one episode!?
I also loved the way the killer robots ("TERMINAUTS") from the future talked in the Umbrella Academy.
"A group of TERMINAUTS circles the crowd. They are shaped like garbage cans with red eyes and capital letters over the front of them.
L ROBOT:
Assessment! Translocation successful! Though it appears our presence has gone unnoticed.
T ROBOT:
Announcement! Citizens of the city. Irregularity 8767678 AKA The Umbrella Academy has a high chance of reformation in two hours, twenty-two minutes, and eleven seconds.
J ROBOT:
Interruption! We seek instant retribution! This area of recreation will serve as a suitable theatre fir eradication due to its high probability of civilian fatality!
All robots agree.
C ROBOT:
Observation! A disturbing lack of concern!
The robots go berserk. Their arms extend from their bodies and they set every carnival attendant in site into flames.
People are screaming from the massive pain of being burned alive."

TRAVEL NOTICE: I'll be on the road on the 18th (maybe connection at night), making an important exam on the 19th (no connection), and back on the road for the 20th (connection at night, maybe), so please DMPC me if needed. Please try not to get me killed.

Sixth. Seventh should be strong enough to carry you in flight. It will be rough, you wont fly super fast but your ignoring roads, avoiding obsticals, and don't have to worry about tiring yourself out.
Sixth
yep, I know, but I'm more worried about the rest of the party, if we want to chase the avoral. After all, it is still carrying this spore thing, so we should stop it before it gets to a large city....
Byron Swiftwater
Ah good idea. If Sixth explains this to Byron he will be down for it. We can always use the haste wands to speed up our arrival.
Though it may come down to us finishing off the last one, in front of a crowd, which won't exactly help our reputations. Then if the dots get connected between that and the fire we will have serious bounties out on our heads.

just a little ebb and flow, is all. a bit of ebb and flow. I left my old job Friday, and start a new one on Monday. Fighting a nasty little cold, and trying to keep up with the wife and kids that have all been on snow days all week because of the DC-area winter storm.
Canim "The Corpulent"
finally got time to level up. Canim spends a good deal of his time in the city looking at tomes, or feasting.
