How Evil Am I Today: 1d6 ⇒ 3Not evil
Stabilize: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (19) - 3 = 16
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Two missed shots, but still the warrior goblin fights on. Covered in blood, it looks like it will continue to strike Helgarr until its dying breath. Again it slashes across Helgarr's body. Helgarr takes 2 damage!
Everyone's turn, let's finish this!
Cleo Gingerberry
When it's Cleo's turn she'll try to aid another for Helgarr on her attack roll. Pulling her dagger, Cleo moves to the left of the goblin trying to draw his focus with a quick stab to his side. meleestabbygoodness: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
that will give Helgarr +4 to her attack, if it lives to the beginning of the initiative round that is.

Maria Grabs another arrow from her quiver and pulls back shooting at the goblin.Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
DM TreasureFox
Although Maria's shot gets blocked by the ever-crumbling heavy shield of the goblin, it gives Furnok just enough time to land a perfect slash. Almost effortlessly, Furnok severs the goblin's head from its body, letting it roll around on the floor.
Combat is finished. You have a stable warpriest still alive for capture and interrogation.

Helgarr stands up, bloodied and battered, but with a smile on her lips. She turns to her halfling companion - "You are truly a conduit of the divine" - she nods - "You have saved my life Cleo, and this I will not forget"
We need to see if there are any survivors! Furnok stands guard.
"You are right" - the barbarian responds, trying to catch her breath, then starting to cautiously move around, looking for any that may be alive.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Maria the Great

Maria searches the room for survivors as well as picking up the loot, she distributes it among the party as best she can so as not to slow any one person down. She keeps a special eye out for Ameiko hoping she's not there. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Helgarr
TreasureFox, anything from my Perception? If not, Helgarr will tie up the goblin after stripping him of his possessions.
Cleo Gingerberry
As long as Erastil wills it" smiles back, as soon as the goblin is tied up, she'll expand a channel (leaving her with 4 left) so if anyone is wounded they get channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1 ugh, well two channels I guess, hopefullybetter: 1d6 ⇒ 4 so 5 points total healed and 3 channels left

ONE damage if you please - I will not be forgetting my DR again :D
Cleo Gingerberry
Yeah, makes the most sense if we want the wee bugger to be awake to be questioned. as long as its properly tied up
DM TreasureFox
I'll set the DC for the goblin to escape at 25 (Furnok's CMB +20). I also would assume that you take away the unholy symbol to stop it from attempting to cast spells.
As Helgarr peers around the room for more survivors, she spots a glimmer out of the corner of her eye. Gleaming in the sunlight, it appears that the corpse completely imprisoned in solid glass is wearing a signet ring.
Then Cleo sends out two waves of healing in the surrounding area, healing everyone it touches. The bound goblin heals up ever so slightly and opens it's eyes. Upon closer inspection, anyone familiar with goblins can tell that it is female, with long red ears that flare up like a kobold. After she gets a sense of her whereabouts, she spits in disgust. Those who understand Goblin hear "Worms! You should have killed me!"

Maria glares into the goblins eyes. Don't worry we will if you don't tell us what we want to know but I'll make it hurt, I'll make you scream, I'll make you plead to your gods that your entire damn race had never crawled from whatever slimy pit you come from. So be a good girl and tell us what we want to know. Intimidate: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Uh, never wrote em down, but goblin wasn't one of them. Whoops, my mistake missed the part where it was said in goblin

Sorry, meant to post yesterday when I got on my laptop but it started screwing up for some reason.
Vandra collected the potions, adding them to the collection of mysterious bottles to identify. When he came across the studded leather armor, he knew that this might be good for his mom depending on the enchantment.

But I do speak goblin ;)
"I agree" - Helgarr retorts calmly in the goblin's own language, though punctuated by a strong accent - "But we still need you before you are put down" - she finishes by gagging him - "Until we address you, I don't want to hear your voice, lest I feel an urge to rip your head from its shoulders"
Turning to the others she adds - "We need someone to be watching this one at all times - we're not about to repeat the same mistakes from past days" - the barbarian remembers the fleeing goblin from the previous day.
Helgarr can do watch duty, if her skills are not needed elsewhere.
"There" - Helgarr follows up, pointing to the wretch encased in glass - "Do any of you recognize him or her? I see a signet ring in the dead hand"
Actually Helgarr may recognize it - she's piling on a decent Knowledge (Local) :D If she is not on watch duty with the goblin, she'll take a look.
Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Cleo Gingerberry
Cleo doesn't relish the idea of poking around dead bodies and will watch the goblin.
DM TreasureFox
It's a damn good K.Local check, but I'm really fishing for a K.Nobility. There is a certain character that I would allow to make the check untrained, as their backstory fits in enough to possibly recognize the ring.
The goblin shrieks and wrestles as Helgarr gags her.
Maria the Great
|
Maria wanders over not understanding the goblin speech and stares at the figure encased in glass and studies the Signet ring.
DM TreasureFox
Normally I would ask for a K.Arcana check before the spellcraft, but I'll let it go this time.
As Vandra detects magic around the armor, he gets a sickening feeling. The aura around the armor is shrouded in Necromancy, and Vandra identifies the armor as being cursed. All animals that are within 10 feet of this armor refuse to approach, due to its unnatural presence.

Sorry, didn't have my books with me when I posted. Will remember for the future.
Vandra immediately dropped the armor before taking a few steps away. "Nobody wear that armor, it's got a curse on it," he told his companions. "I'm not sure how bad it is, but we should take it to either the priest or destroy it. Anybody find anything else?"
Maria the Great

Quite a bit, but I passed most of it out. I suggest this app
Alandrian Verium
Alis head hangs in sadness for a moment, as he slumps to his knees, his forehead pressed against the glass. "It is the Kaijitsu symbol, either Ameiko or her father or brother I... I can't tell who." The words come out flat and hollow as he turns, resting his back up against the statue.
"We should take this with us. Azeri and Helgarr or Furnok should be able to carry it between them."
Can I tell who it is? Or can I make an Introduction check to see whether Ali remembers Ameiko ever wearing her signet?
Cleo Gingerberry
If Ali fails and comes to get Cleo she could use heal to try and identify. Right now she is still standing guard, with Furnok being the real guard and her just feeling useful

"Very well" - Helgarr nods - "Let us make sure we keep our distance from it. Thank you Vandra"

"Why not break it Ali - it is but glass, is it not?"
Alandrian Verium
Intelligence-1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Ali shakes his head at Helgarrs suggestion before turning to look at the warrior. "With how glass is made, the high temperature and such, I would not want to take the chance that the glass had fused to the persons skin. Yes they are... dead... But I don't want to desecrate their body further!" He glanced up at the body again before calling out to Cleo.
"Cleo, could you give this person a once over, just with your eyes. You are a healer after all, I am just a useless child with a pretend bear..."
Maria the Great
|
When Maria hears Ali she moves up to him and gives him a hug. You're not useless and Ameiko wouldn't want to hear you talking like that, would she?
Cleo Gingerberry
A useless child... with handsome face and magical powers, and pretend bear with an amazing laugh and massive cla-- Cleo's reassurances are cut short when she sees the glass and what's in it. She has a mini freakout session in her head. To you all it looks most like a wide eyed "near pee your pants and vomit at the same time" look on her face. The now pale faced halfling will do as Ali asks and try and determine anything she can
healing: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Cleo can determine quite a few things about the body that is encased in glass:
- The charred corpse has tons of tension in both its muscles and expression. It was alive when the liquid glass was poured over it.
- It is undeniably 100% human, and of Tian descent
- It is male and the person was fairly old
Cleo Gingerberry
Cleo's going to be assuming now...
it's not Ameiko... Her father... I think it is her father... probably... Cleo babbles out in spurts, feeling guilt that she feels so relieved, but knowing it is still someone dead, someone mean and hateful but still someone who didn't deserve this.
She'll pat Ali's hand, then goes back to guard duty.

Vandra felt a sense of relief upon hearing that it wasn't Ameiko in the glass. Then a thought came to him and his face went pale. "Guys, if that's her rather, then that means the goblins still have her!"
Helgarr
"She may still even be here" - Helgarr ponders - "We need to search this place thoroughly now!" - the barbarian urges her companions.
