Don't forget you're blessed, everyone! In fact, add +1 to all the skeleton's attack rolls from last round, in case it matters.
V supports his remaining skeleton with his pencil wand.
magic missile, augmented by black powder: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Can we say I replicated black powder (+1 damage) for my last blast, too? I just forgot.

Sorry about my slow posting this week. Between overtime at work and nursing school, I have pulled 3 20+ hour days this week.. If I don't have my face crammed into a book, I have been asleep.
+1 to everyone's scores from last round still doesn't change posted effects.
Ok.. this time. +1 dmg for last round.
Rogar manages to connect again, dealing another wound to the creature., but Kyra misses again.
V sends in his last skeleton, who only manages to get one small nip in. This is followed shortly by another blast from the MM.
Tiring of the hit and run tactics of the only creature to really harm him so far, the giant bug disregards the skeletons and steps forward with Rogar this time. AOO for Kyra and Hardy

Rogar catches the first claw on his shield, but the next one slides under his armor and disembowels him. As Rogar falls, the creature turns the rest of his attacks to 1k2b3V4A5H: 1d5 ⇒ 1 Kyra. Striking hard and then releasing, the creature suddenly begins to turn the tide of the battle.

Edit: Nevermind, I re-read the last line and now see that Kyra got pummeled.
Fort Save 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Fort Save 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Assuming that doesn't incapacitate Kyra...
Kyra takes an opportunistic swing at the beast. Then she channels healing, excluding the monster. No AoO provided.

Are you sure? It was only a 5-foot step...In any case:
talon: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Seeing the mighty Rogar fall, V carefully attempts to help restore him with a dark blessing....
infernal healing, defensive casting concentration check DC 17: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
He will gain 1 minute of Fast Healing 1 starting next round.

GM DevilDoc |

V: I figured that yes, it was only a five foot step, but I was passing through the threat of two enemies in order to attack a third. If nothing else, the single mindedness of such an act deserves an AOO.
As the thing pursues Rogar, neither Kyra nor Hardy are able to slow it.
Silas finally joins the fray, trying to move in behind the big bug, but earns himself a swipe of attention from a claw, getting bloodied on his way in.

Set and in position, Silas delivers a powerful blow, declaring a holy smite against his foe! The creature rears and screams as another break forms in his armor.
Kyra channels heal around the room, granting 5 pnts healing for everyone.
V. Spends his turn trying to get Rogar back on his feet.

I am unclear about Rogar's situation: is he prone near the bug? Also, how many fortitude checks? Lastly, I'm posting with my phone due to having my PC down for manteinance so expect a lower posting rate, sorry

GM DevilDoc |

Rogar is in the same place he was.. the bug advanced and is next to you. You are prone because he knocked you to -1 hp, but the party healed you up to positive, so you are conscious and awake.. but prone from falling in the first place. As for the saves, I need one fort save for the one strike that hit you.

As the bug unleashes his full fury, Rogar falls as the razor-sharp claws cut his armor to ribbons. For a moment the cold embrace of oblivion envelopes the Taldan... but then he sudenly finds himself pulled back to awareness by Kyra's healing magic!
Coughing blood and acting almost solely on reflexes, the battle hardened taldan stabs at the creature from his prone position...

*Last round*
Hardy manages to get one talon in under the bugs waving arms and claws, but only barely draws blood.
Kyra: forgot to add your channel into you HP so the number below went up.
Rogar shakes off the strength sapping effects of the attack that laid him low. From his spot on the floor, he swings his sword again, dealing even more damage. Don't forget the -4 to hit and the -4 AC for being prone. You still hit though.
Bolger slings another stone into the fray, but it bounces off of a far wall.
Aramil steps in, but only manages to connect with one swing.
*Current Round*
Kyra: a little out of turn, so channeling will be your action for after the bug.
The bug, wounded after so many powerful strikes rears in agony like none it has ever known before. Reaching down to its leg, it activates a wand and disappears from view.

Gm: 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (5) + 32 = 37

Let's cross our fingers... EDIT: If I'm not mistaken Rogar should also get a +2 for flanking with Kyra, right?

GM DevilDoc |

Actually, I told you wrong.. I rolled acro for getting past everyone else, but looking back over it, I didn't roll acro for you. (different modifiers because you're the only one that can see it) Soo.. Acro: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 The dice are in your favor! Your AOO stands.
With a lucky strike, Rogar just barely manages to slice the things belly with his last ditch lunge. With a piercing shriek, the giant bug becomes visible just as it crashes into Hardy and lies still on the floor.

GM DevilDoc |

Well, everyone... you have survived the Enigma Vault! I should have your chronicles ready soon. Kyra and Bolger, please submit your PFS info on the discussion tab please. As soon as yall get that to me, I can get the game reported and the chronicles done. I really enjoyed DMing for yall, and I learned a lot. Please don't hold my many mistakes against me.. but I hope that despite them, you had fun.

V holds up the broken dinosaur's skull. "Alas, poor Laurel...you served us well."

Seeing the creature crash into the skeleton and die Rogar just lays on the dungeon's pavement and exhales deeply:"Wheew! Seems like we got it after all! That was one hell of a bug... but now he's only bug meat... black goat or not!".
The taldan uses his sword as leverage and limbs back on his feet before adding:"Well done everyone! Now I guess we just have to start cataloguing everything..."

"Well... of course..." says Rogar sounding far from convinced but smiling nonetheless.

OK.. All of the CHRONICLES ARE HERE and the session has been reported. Let me know if there is anything wrong or if anything needs to be changed. I greatly appreciate all of you for bearing through this with me.
