Initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
The dolls fling tiny blades at the party members, hoping to catch the intruders unawares.
1 Attack vs Leandro: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Tybalt and Anuqa may act in the surprise round
After that:
Dolls
Tybalt
Volidrian
Dr. Tovanarish
Res
Leandro
Anuqa
Anuqa can tell these are constructs with a malign intelligence, but not much more with that roll.

Anuqa Amaruq |

"The best I can do is go with what worked last time," Anuqa sighs (also, partially in relief the dolls didn't target him with their knives) before reciting an incantation that brings his hand to light again.
Casting the spell is all I can do in the surprise round.

Celestial GM |

The dolls leap into melee, cutting with their tiny blades and showing obvious delight at the sight of human blood.
1 attack vs Leandro: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 vs flatfooted. Damage on hit: 1d2 ⇒ 1 plus Bleed: 1d3 ⇒ 2 and Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
2 attack vs Dr. Tovanarish: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 vs flatfooted. Damage on hit: 1d2 ⇒ 2 plus Bleed: 1d3 ⇒ 1 and Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
3 attack vs Volidrian: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 vs flatfooted. Damage on hit: 1d2 ⇒ 1 plus Bleed: 1d3 ⇒ 2 and Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
4 attack vs Res: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33 vs flatfooted. Damage on hit: 1d2 ⇒ 1 plus Bleed: 1d3 ⇒ 2 and Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11
Crit confirm vs Res: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25 Crit damage: 1d2 ⇒ 2 (For such dangerous little buggers, their critical hits are remarkably meaningless.)
Reminder: Bleed does not stack. On your turn, take bleed damage equal to the highest bleed roll you have been hit with.

Treppa |

Do we take the bleed damage this turn, or does it go into effect on subsequent turns (y'know, as we bleed)? I read the definition and wasn't certain, but I thought it hit on the turns after the initial bleed hit was inflicted. So is Leandro's round one damage 11 or 13 (both with 2 bleed at the beginning of subsequent turns)?

Tybalt Scorzia |

Tybalt moves forwards and flicks out the whip towards the small doll, keeping out of reach of it's small arms. "Baby-doll, you ain't got the arms to reach us."
Move to K28 & draw weapon
Attack with Scorpion Whip against 2 Whip: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Volidrian |

Ignoring the doll attacking him for the moment, Volidrian steps into the flank with Dr. Ezrakion Tovanarish, square N29, and delivers a pair of quick cuts to murderous toy #2.
1st Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31
Damage 1: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
sneak attack: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3
2nd Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Damage 1: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
sneak attack: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10

Celestial GM |

Dr. Tovanarish’s spiritual weapon cuts at the doll, while Volidrian strikes at it with his blade. However, the evil doll seems somewhat resistant to Volidrian’s blow. I do not believe Volidrian’s melee weapons are magical. The hit was reduced by DR.
So far only #2 has been hit.

Res Thannq |

Caught by surprise, Res is unable to avoid the doll's knives. They open large wounds around his neck and he begins to bleed. Grimacing in pain, Res takes a step to move into a better position against doll number 4 and takes a swing with his magical greatsword.
5 foot step to k29

"Blast these tiny foul monstrosities!"
The paladin moves to aid Sir Res while calling upon his goddess for healing for himself and his comrades.
5' to K31, channel (1/7) for: healing: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2) = 6
Everyone should be in range. I'm hoping this doesn't help constructs at all. It's not much, but it stops the bleed damage.
HP 57/64

Anuqa Amaruq |

Anuqa moves close to one of the damaged dolls (to L28).
"This hurts me as much as it probably will hurt you," the sorcerer mutters as he reaches out for the creature.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Fire Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
If the attack deals damage, the doll must succeed on a DC 16 Fortitude save or catch on fire.

Celestial GM |

Anuqa's burning touch sets the doll alight and it writhes in agony before expiring on the floor.
With its fire vulnerability, that was enough to take it down.
Note: Leandro's channel would cancel everyone's bleed damage, so you are starting fresh this round.
Two of the dolls move to flank Leandro, deeply aggrieved by his use of holy magic. The third strikes at Volidrian.
1 vs Leandro: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24

Res Thannq |

Res steps up to attack the other doll threatening Leandro. "I feel much better Leandro, let me take care of this other doll for you." He brings his magical greatsword down on top of the doll trying to split it in two.
5 foot step to L30
Power Attack + Furious Focus: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 3) + 10 = 15

Tybalt Scorzia |

Tybalt looks concerned at the damage these dolls are creating; "I would make jokes, but that'd be punching down. But I wouldn't want to be on a power trip."
Walking forward his whip flicks out to try and make the doll fall.

Leandro |

Yup, I read his post. Just to clarify, aren't we supposed to hold our action until our name is bolded? That's all I was waiting for.
HP 57-2=55/64
Leandro manfully strangles any whimpers of pain, bleeds a little more, and steps into a position where he can harass one of the *#&$*#s while Volidrian, Shelyn willing, slices the thing into ribbons.
5' step to K32, channel again to stop the hemorrhaging.

If the attack deals damage, the doll must succeed on a DC 16 Fortitude save or catch on fire.

Celestial GM |

Since neither remaining doll had been hit, I applied the fire to 3, since 1 is likely easier to take down next round.
Fort save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Volidrian fails to strike the nimble doll, but Anuqa burns the other one severely. Somehow it manages to roll and extinguish the flames quickly, but the burn damage is significant.
The doll returns the favor and cuts at Anuqa.

"Shelyn, bless this work and shield my friends!" Leandro cries, stepping as close as possible to his companions and gesturing in blessing.
Step to L31. Standard action, use 1 lay on hands to invoke shared defense (Su, does not provoke). All allies within 10' get +1 to AC and CMD and saves for 4 rounds.
Sorry, Anuqa, you're just out of range and I can't get to a place where everyone is in range.
"Volidrian, strike whilst I harass the thing!" Possible flank on 1 if Volidrian wishes.

Tybalt Scorzia |

Tybalt gives a flourish with his whip as the doll comes closer & it flicks to the floor and with a fluid action he draws his rapier and pokes it.

Drawing your attention to something from the last page:
An open doorway reveals stairs leading further up to the front second story.
There is no door that you need to open here. Also, there were no sounds heard from up those stairs (although feel free to roll Perception if you want to listen carefully at the base of the stair). Of course, Tybalt is on edge and this is a creaky old row house, so it could be entirely within character if he thinks he heard something - but you haven’t really.
Some of you did notice that the blood spots (which someone - presumably the dolls - tried to hide) form a trail that leads up those stairs. You have not yet found the toymaker’s body which Magritte said she found in the sitting room, so the blood trail could be the result of his body being moved.
Also, you had earlier noted a lot of papers and personal effects on the desk in this room. Let me know if you are searching that or anything else here.
