I guess “message” doesn’t reach as far huh? :)
If the ships are relatively “close” (about 100 feet) we can likely yell at each other, and every 6 hours or so we should align the ships to talk, plus agree on some flag signs... for example, if we have to pull them together in an emergency to plan.
well message might work in some circumstances.....it's 170 ft at 7th level... Sending would always work, but it's limited to 25 words...
Not sure I have a spell that can help. Flags were traditional. Lanterns at night.
Flag signs and lanterns seem like a good idea. Message and Sending could help us with more detailed messages. And I like Gareth's idea of aligning the ships every few hours or so to talk and plan.

It's as fast as hand signing the alphabet for the deaf. And that can be very fast, My mother-in-law is so fast most non-deaf people cannot follow her. She lived with a deaf uncle for years.

I made this toon back in 2014, when sound striker (-had-, apparently) could do a loaden word per bard level.
Seems weird words' number of attacks got screwed over. Besmara damn that.
On the positive it now deals sonic dmg, less targets immune to that.

Hi guys! Posting it on all my pbps.
Our offshore team at work is very affected by the pandemic at the moment and with the fiscal year approaching to an end, our reduced capacity is terribly affecting my time. For the next several weeks it will likely impact me in such way that I simply won't be able to keep up with the forums, things normalizing only as we start approaching mid June.
For the games where I play, GMs please feel free to bot the characters. If you don't desire to bot me for so long, I completely understand, apologize for the late notice and wish you all the best of fun. If you hold me around, though, I should be back after this storm.
For the games where I host, my sincerest apologies to the players - I won't let you hanging so if you stick around until my return we will give it continuation as normal. Otherwise, please message me and once I'm back I'll recruit replacements.

Apologies for my absence.
In a nutshell, I've was offered and accepted a bunch
of new work that obviously disrupted my activities here.
My time quickly became overcome by my new responsiblities, and
not being the most organized person, I found my free time disappearing.
So wanting the best of both world, this situation forced me to organize a lot better.
Still going to be working a lot, but now I've carved off part of my day for my games here.
Hope you all are still willing to continue!

Sorry I didn't get an update up this week. What with dealing with the renos, finishing moving downstairs so the contractor can start on the first floor on Monday, and getting ready to leave town for the week his morning....
I had been planning to keep up some posting this week, but have decided to leave all my responsibilities aside (work and play) this week. Having a week with nothing to do but have fun with family will do wonders I think for my brain after COVID, allowing me to come back refreshed in body, mind and spirit!
