Yeah, James Jacobs said no. A Periapt of Health will not grant you immunity, but Remove Disease still kills the worms. I guess they like to keep you on your toes.
By the way, I must compliment you all on your resourcefulness. I am really enjoying seeing how you are able to handle everything I throw at you by clever use of rather simple spells and equipment. I'm learning lots from you and taunt my tabletop players mercilessly. :-)
Edit: And I'm sorry for Vulcan, but I think you'll catch up eventually.

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

Bubba, when you can, these are the items where we need Spellcraft checks (I think Vug can do the potions) (we can try once a day):
*Magic rug
*Magic Mirror
*Magic swords (3) (these are most likely +1 given that the dopplegangers' default gear was +1 long sword and MW studded leather)
*Two potions
*Magic shortsword
Also, BT, can we tell how much the gems sell for, the ones found in the chest? The ones described as "Two large (and presumably valuable) gems"

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

Bubba and anyone else who can, still need Spellcraft checks on:
*Magic rug
*Magic Mirror
*Two large (and presumably valuable) magical gems (4000 gp)

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

BT, want to know if I could switch out Vital Strike for another feat? I'm usually full-attacking or charging and can't use Vital strike on any of those so it's going to waste. I'm thinking Blindfighting or Improved Iron Will.

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

Nice Vug! Actually, you only need 1 extract, gives you 24 rounds to Identify, so you can do the gems as well.

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

Friar, don't forget you get domain powers at 8th level! Your Sun power is cool for dispelling drow darkness and vs. undead!

Black Tom |

The rug is a novelty item that occasionally changes its pattern. The mirror is considerably more useful: at a command, for up to 10 minutes once a day it can it can be commanded to show the true form of a creature that is physically disguising its shape (it has no power to penetrate illusions). That might help with your doppelganger problem.
The rug is worth 500 gp, the mirror 10 000.
The gems are receptacles for memories, called mind clones. With the devious apparatus you found, a creature's memories can be stored in the gems and accessed with Detect Thoughts (the gem gets no save of course). They are each worth 2000 gp, and you found two of them.
Yeah, Vulcan should make level 7 and let's hope that it won't take this long until next opportunity to level up.

Vug Vang |

Vug will take a +1 longsword, if we have a number of them. It can't hurt to have a backup weapon...
By the way, I must compliment you all on your resourcefulness. I am really enjoying seeing how you are able to handle everything I throw at you by clever use of rather simple spells and equipment. I'm learning lots from you and taunt my tabletop players mercilessly. :-)
Sometimes it's more luck than good management! :-)

Valgrim Twin-Axe |

Darn it, Vug. Going to have recalculate the treasure share now, as I assumed we had sold all 4 longswords. Are you going to be taking the alchemical equipment, as well? Alchemist's fire, tanglefoot bags?

Friar Feres |

Should we gift the rug to Eligos in return for researching Kyuss and the Age of Worms?
With respect to the:
Forged and original City State documents detailing treaties, merchant dealings, and religious papers. Papers detail numerous noble families and government institutions that have been corrupted by their influence. This includes merchant councils, the leatherworker’s union, the carpenter’s guild, the stonemasons, the courts, the militia, and even some circles pretty close to the Overlord himself with map of city.
Is the temple of Sarenrae implicated in any of these papers? If not, I suggest we go to them to seek guidance regarding how best to get these papers to the proper authorities. They may want the mirror as well. Besides, Feres needs to go to the temple to pick up his scimitar - hopefully they've had time to enhance it into a +1 scimitar.
I'm good with selling everything else.
