Skaar
Feeling things snap inside his opponent and the struggling cease, Skaar drops the broken champion and, in a flash, grabs the mace from his hip.
"Du vitne til hva som skjedde med den sterkeste blant dere? Hvem andre er dumme nok til å utfordre meg?!" he roars.
Readying to attack defensively if one of them tries anything (which I assume they will). Preferably one of the axe guys.
Ready: 1d20 + 13 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 13 + 1 - 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
He'll be AC 23 if it comes up.
Going to bed now.
Skaar
Rajni will have to tell us all about the local orc tribes and their customs when this is done.
Rajni
I am not a little girl that needs protecting!
Not saying a word she draws back the string on her bow as an arrow appears, she lets two arrows fly fast and furious at O3.
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31 Ouchie: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Damn, but the first one was good
Angry at Skaar for thinking of her like a little girl....and still messed up from everything else she's feeling, she seems to lose focus for a moment. I am NOT a little girl!
Signaling to Shamara she has her move back a bit to guard their rear. Shamara moves to B2
Rajni
The only thing she would tell you is, "The only good savage Orc, is a dead savage Orc. I care not anything of their customs. They be beasts for slaughter and nothing more." Quoth the Raven, nevermore. LOL
Rajni
Obviously you are and you think Rajni is too stupid to realize when someone is doing something foolish to try and protect her. By his actions she takes it as such. And it's something that goes alot deeper than Skaar...and since when did you start to read minds?
Rajni
Sorry...too much going on today. It's not that he "said" it, it's the way he's treating her, like she's not capable of defending herself, or weak in some way. No, he didn't say it out loud, it was inferred.
Nicatha of the Manifold Moon
I don't read minds . . . yet. I was just curious since I'm reading the story you wrote, and thought I missed some gendered insult that would have annoyed Nicatha too. Thus the blue text. :-) And it's okay. Given your present circumstances I would be more worried if you weren't a bit prickly.
Skaar
Heh. I think the only reason this didn't happen earlier was because Arista was at work. =P
Skaar knew we could take them out in force. He was trying to teach them a lesson. By answering their lopsided challenge and beating them at it, he’d be teaching anyone else out there and watching that we’re not to be trifled with. Now the gloves are off and we’re at the mercy of whatever’s out there.
We’ve got a long trip ahead of us. The last thing we need is VC Orcs hunting us through the jungle for weeks on end. Nobody likes a pungi stick through the foot.
Skaar
I was also hoping for the ‘You killed our leader. You’re the boss now’ scenario.
Rajni
I was actually thinking of taking the rest of the meat off the spit, enlarging the pit and setting them all on fire as a warning kind of thing. Once I take my tent down of course...I wouldn't want it smelling like stinky charred Orc....no offense Skaar.
Rajni
Oh hell no...Rajni would explain again, like she did earlier. They are not like you Skaar. They are completely savage and have no such way of thinking. You kill their leader, so they want to kill you in turn and do unspeakable things to the women, or kill them to...pretty much a toss up there.
Rajni
The cyst they removed was sitting on my Pituitary gland and cutting off it's function...so there were alot of hormones and stuff that I just wasn't getting. Now I can feel things...but now...now I feel them so strongly that I can't always control them and to me that's worse than not feeling anything at all.
Nicatha of the Manifold Moon
I would support that as long as we also removed their mandibles. Skaar's fear of ambushes, hit-and-run tactics, and constant harassment is a reasonable one I feel. Best avoid a witch doctor from learning too much about their killers.
Rajni
It's like hearing news about your moms vertebrae being shattered in a voice mail and knowing it could have been prevented, and getting so angry that with just one hand you end up throwing a heavy ass arm chair across the room. Stuff like that...and having dreams about ripping out peoples entrails and such. That sort of thing.
Nicatha of the Manifold Moon
That sounds like something that will level off as the new level of hormones becomes normalized. Just think of it as puberty, round 2. :-)
Skaar
As much Skaar’s anxious of guerrilla warfare, I don’t like the idea of mutilating the bodies either. It’s not terribly pragmatic but we’re the heroes. We should act like it. We’re never going to reach any level of understanding if we try to out-savage them.
#GiveLoveaChance
Did your surgery come with any meds to manage those hormones? My mother was on mood-leveling meds at one point.
Rajni
I've been off the steroids for a little over a year now though....that's why my OB doc said to go ahead and see the fertility doc about trying to have a baby now...cuz maybe things are finally starting to straighten out...I just don't feel like they are. And it feels like everything is just taking waaayyyy too long.
Skaar
I was actually considering subduing the rest of Orcs and then raising their leader as a way to earn their admiration/respect before this all went pear-shaped.
When do your folks show up? I’m assuming you have to pick them up from the hospital.
Rajni
I'm down with burning them...but taking apart their jaws would take too long and we gotta get going before more come. That is if we are able to get rid of all these bastards. I think we can manage though....as long as I can stop rolling 1's. LOL Okay...seriously now....I'm gonna lay down and stop thinking about all the crap that's going on and get some rest. Even if I have to put myself in a semi coma to do it.
Rajni
Nope...sorry....Rajni would never allow that. Too many things that could go wrong and aside from that....they are savages and not worth it. She kills them on sight, every last one of them. It's a waste of time to fool around with such things. Remember, she knows next to nothing of magic...so she probably wouldn't trust it and most likely run off.
Skaar
Heh. Is he sleeping currently?
Zia Ulara
The overnight activity!
Zia continued playing dumb language-wise. Might be helpful if we are overrun. Yet their own greenskin proved very resilient. Such a champion. Wonder what his background is?
With the defeat of the leader, she decided to slant the tables a touch more in their favor. As with the harpy, she hoped to deter the rest of the opponents by making actual fighting difficult.
A coalescing droplet from above, seemingly out of nothingness, grew in size to envelop a pair of the Orcs next to Skaar with a few words and a wave of her hand.
Casting Aqueous Orb on H3:I4. Description. DC 15 Reflex.
Rinse: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6
GM Henry Fortuna
O1 Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
O2 Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
O1 Second Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
O2 Second Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
O2 is engulfed.
O2 hp: 31, 6 NL
O3 hp: 19
Zia's watery orb manages to damage two of the orcs, but one manages to avoid being engulfed. Skaar's attack catches one of the axe-wielding orcs, the one who slipped out of the orb. The group proceeds to attack the greenskin. "Det var bare lederen for vår jakt partiet. Han var ikke den sterkeste av oss."
Battleaxe 1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Battleaxe 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23; Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Unarmed 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Unarmed 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Unarmed 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26; Damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Unarmed 4: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
O2's Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
The other orc manages to escape from Zia's Aqueous Orb.
Round: Skaar, Nicatha, Rajni, Zia, Orcs
Skaar
Skaar flashes Rajni and Zia a frustrated glare. Their interference might have spoiled the trial by combat but this wasn’t the time to show their lack of solidarity.
Despite suffering a couple more blows – one to the ribs and another along his brow – Skaar stands defiant.
Can’t mess with google translate right now.
Rajni
@Skaar and Zia We both were passed out by 1pm, he crashed on the couch before we even went to bed though. We have both just been really worn out. FYI given her history with the Orcs and some stuff none of you know about...Rajni will NOT allow any of them to live. She will keep firing at them until they all die. Oh, and don't much care about the overnight activity as just having some time to ourselves before we're invaded by my parents.
Rajni
Shaking her head again at Skaar and glaring at him she notches back the string on her bow and lets two more arrows fly in rapid succession at the Orc directly in front of her.
Firing again at O3
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 More Pain: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 And Suffering: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Seeing just how much trouble the Orc has gotten himself into, Rajni sends in Shamara to attack one of Savage Orcs flanking Skaar.
Shamara moves to F5 and attempts to take a bite outta the Savage beast's ass.
Chomp chomp: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 Orc ass damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Once she has her teeth in him, she attempts to trip him.
Fall down go boom: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 Even though she didn't manage to get him down on the ground, his ass felt the sting of her teeth.

Banishing her ball to the back side of the brawler, the blue bard begins a belicose melody, bestowing a battle boon on her brethren.
Aqueous orb to I5:K6. Inspiring Courage for +2 to attack/damage, will saves vs. fear.
Orb: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Relfex DC 15
Henry, being in the orb gives the entangled condition, which imposes a -4 penalty on Dex. Because the last save O2 "made" was a 16, it was supposed to be, in actuality, a 14 as you did not apply the penality for Dex to the reflex save. He should still be engulfed and take an additional 2d6, per your own roll as it was taken separately (on his turn as he was still in the orb) from the roll I made here.
Skaar
Skaar doesn't know any of that and even if he did, he'd try to get these guys to back down. He's a bleeding heart like that. I really should change his alignment to good.
Increasingly frustrated but knowing that everyone was in danger as long as this battle went on, Skaar grits his teeth and tries to end it. Nicatha's spell restores some of his spent strength and he lashes out at those surrounding him.
Focusing on the axe guy and then whoever else isn't inside the orb.
Whomp: 1d20 + 13 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 13 + 1 - 4 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
Hasted Whomp: 1d20 + 13 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 13 + 1 - 4 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Skaar
Okay. I may spend another mythic power depending on what happens with those first two attacks.
Nicatha of the Manifold Moon
Magic would help do it, but no, Rajni, my plan is to walk to G2 this turn, and get closer next turn -- say 4H -- where I can actually heal him.
Skaar
Okay, I edited it out.
I still might spend that mythic power to thin their ranks a bit more.
