Okay, let's go. Sienna, I think Roshan would be safer with us, what do you think?" Sadhana asks the sorceress.

F Anizari Rogue 11/Guardian 2 HP:66/76; AC: 22, T: 17, FF: 16, Fort: +5, Ref: +14, Will: +7 (+2 vs illusions); Init: +7; Perception: +16 (+4 vs concealed objects/conversations)

"Nkosi is a Necromancer," Mirrin answers. "One who takes the art to heart. I knew he had a hold of some territory, but I didn't think it was an entire kingdom."

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

"I suppose," Sienna says. "We could always use someone who knows their way around traps and locks."

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan looks a little surprised, "Really? You want me to go with you?" Seeing something else fly across thed room he nods, "Thank you, I would be honored to join you, now let's go." Roshan replies to their kind offer before hurrying back the way they came.

As Roshan approaches the stairs, they warp and bend. An errant book comes flying at the archaeologist.

DC 10 Reflex Save.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Reflex save: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26

Roshan easily sidesteps the book which hits a wall and falls to the ground.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

After deftly dodging the troublesome tome, Roshan studies the strange stairs and tries to figure out what was going on with them.

Know Religion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Roshan isn't sure, but thinks that the stairs may be a haunt.

A haunt is a sort of undead trap.

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

"I think you should get back in this circle, Roshan," Sienna suggests before turning to Sadhana. "Think you can teleport us all out of here?"

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan nods and heads back to the others, "I'm not absolutely sure, but I think those stairs are actually a haunt. It's a kind of undead trap. Sooo, if there's a way for all of us to get out of here without having to go through any of that stuff....that would probably be a good thing." Roshan says before looking back at Sadhanna after hearing Sienna ask her about teleportation.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

I'm sorry, with all the medicine they put me on and how out of it I've been, I sorta forgot about the magic circle.

I'll wait on Sadhana, but Tesia can say something to Mirrin.

Dammit! Sorry honey, I've been so out of it I guess I missed that part. I'll respond soon.

Tesia nods, "Ahhh....so definitely a bad guy. Well...I'm not sure we're equipped to take something of that scale on right now. Maybe...just get through what we need to since we're kind of running on borrowed time and then let the others know about it? Maybe we it's something we can handle once we're all together again?" She says, unsure of what the best course of action to take would be. She knew that eventually they would need to deal with all the necromancers in one way or another...but she wasn't sure that this Nkosi was someone they could take on right now.

F Anizari Rogue 11/Guardian 2 HP:66/76; AC: 22, T: 17, FF: 16, Fort: +5, Ref: +14, Will: +7 (+2 vs illusions); Init: +7; Perception: +16 (+4 vs concealed objects/conversations)

"I suppose we'll see about it later," Mirrin says. "Let's go get some food and supplies. We'll resume our trip in a bit."

"Do you honestly think you can do what you need to in two days?" Nolletta asks as they walk.

Female Anizari Brawler 11/Champion 2 HP: 93/111; AC: 21, T: 18, FF: 15; Fort: +12, Ref: +12, Will: +6; Init: +5; Perception: +15

"I am a bit skeptical about that myself."

Tesia shrugs and sighs, "All we can do is try our best." She says before her stomach complains loudly, as they make their way to the eating place that the guard told them about.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan looks at the magus in wonder as he hears Sienna ask her if she could teleport them out of there. He had never met one person that could actually teleport themselves, much less a group of people at one time. He could hop from space to space in a certain distance, but he had never teleported anywhere before, and found the whole thing to be absolutely intriguing. Things were already getting very interesting and he was excited about what things he might learn about his family and Zahvroma as he continued to travel with them.

"Definitely, it’ll just take a bit of extra focus. Everyone hang on!" the magus says stepping back inside the circle herself and drawing upon her arcane power, as some of the tattoos n her face and arms begin to glow. Reaching deep within, the magus calls upon the remnants of the expended arcane energy of hours before, rekindling it with her own internal resevoirs as the spell once again blossoms in her mind.

With an arcane chant and intricate gesture, she completes the spell immediately transporting the group a hundred yards outside the temple’s outer gates in a flash of arcane energy

"We ready to call it a night then?" Sienna asks, looking over at the temple.

Tesia sees the statue that the guard mentioned, too exaggerated to be found offensive. The statue sits in front of a long building with several patrons lined up outside. Most look like mercenaries, while there are few who look like merchants of meager means.

Roshan just stands there for a moment, staring at the Magus in amazement before absently nodding his head, "Uhhuh...."

Tesia points at the line as they approach, "Looks like we'll have a little wait to get inside, but I bet it's worth it."

"Must be if people are willing to wait," Magestreia says.

Tesia mods, "I can't wait to taste it." She says, sounding a little excited as they get in line.

Never having teleported anywhere before, Roshan just remains where he is for the moment, as he waits for the slight dizziness to pass. He didn't really feel sick or anything, since he could move himself through smaller distances of space in a similar fashion, but the sudden movement from one place to another just leaves him feeling a little...queasy.

After taking a few minutes to get his bearings Roshan asks the group of very capable women, "Sooo....we're just going to make camp here for the night then, and finish that one last room that was locked in the morning after we eat?"

"We won't exactly be making camp, but that sounds about right." Cyna answers.

M Vishkanya Bard/Archaeologist 12

Roshan gets a confused look on his face, "Soooo....you guys just sleep in the open? I'm not sure what you mean. If you don't set up camp....then, what do you do?"

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

Sienna closes her eyes and concentrates, summoning a door into existence. The door swings open and the tiefling gestures to it. "After all of you."

After about fifteen minutes, you make it to the front of the line, patrons shuffling past you. There is a lot of conversation going on in the restaurant as various groups talk as they eat. You see one area of the restaurant is exclusively filled with armed men, glancing at the line every so often. A surly-looking half-orc woman stands in front of the kitchen doors, a well-worn rolling pin in her hands. A cheerful half-elf comes up to you, seemingly measuring you. "Five? Are you adventurers or 'for hire'?"

F Anizari Rogue 11/Guardian 2 HP:66/76; AC: 22, T: 17, FF: 16, Fort: +5, Ref: +14, Will: +7 (+2 vs illusions); Init: +7; Perception: +16 (+4 vs concealed objects/conversations)

"'For hire?' What does that mean?" Mirrin asks, her tone not indicative of whether she's offended or not.

"If you're 'for hire', it means you're looking to find some work escorting merchants or traders to their destinations," the half-elf says, his smile unfaltering. "What did you think I meant?"

F Anizari Rogue 11/Guardian 2 HP:66/76; AC: 22, T: 17, FF: 16, Fort: +5, Ref: +14, Will: +7 (+2 vs illusions); Init: +7; Perception: +16 (+4 vs concealed objects/conversations)

"A different sort of escorting, I suppose."

"Oh. Ohhhhh," the half-elf responds, getting what Mirrin meant. "No, no, they don't eat here. Anyhow, if you're for hire, you'll sit with the others. We keep them separate so they don't disturb our patrons while they eat. No one likes that."

Female Anizari Brawler 11/Champion 2 HP: 93/111; AC: 21, T: 18, FF: 15; Fort: +12, Ref: +12, Will: +6; Init: +5; Perception: +15

"We're just adventurers," Magestreia says. "And, yes, there's just five of us."

"Wonderful," the half-elf says cheerily. "Right this way."

The lithe host expertly leads you through the crowd of people to a large round table near a window. "Your server will be with you shortly."

He turns around and saunters back to the front of the line.

"Wasn't he just darling?" Nolletta mutters with a scowl.

Probably Something Crude:
"He'd probably open his backside if we opened our coin purse far enough."

"You have something against half-elves?" Mirrin asks.

"Mmm, yes, but him in particular."

Tesia nearly glares at Noletta, "I don't believe that's appropriate table conversation, and if you don't have something nice to say about someone, then I politely ask you to keep your opinions to yourself. Think you can manage that dearie?" She asks, the slight smile on her face not taking anything away from her displeased tone.

They were strangers here, and she would much rather just get through this meal and procure what they needed, so they could be on their way, without getting dragged into any kind of drama....if that was at all possible.

Sighing she looks at Nolletta, "If it is at all possible, I would like to get through this meal, get what we need, and be on our way with as little hassle and drama as possible. So could we just...I don't know, do that?"

She didn't dislike Nolletta because she was a dark elf, but because of all the crap she pulled already. Closing her eyes for a moment, Tesia tries to get a hold on her emotions. It wasn't the girls fault that she had been brain washed by Tichran, but she had knowingly deceived them and used them before for Tichran's twisted fissure plot....so, how could they trust her not to betray them again? Just because she was travelling with them at the moment, didn't automatically make her one of the "good guys"

Tesia's hands subconsciously form into fists at her side as she takes slow measured breaths, quelling the storm within her and trying to regain her calm the way her father had taught her. He wasn't wrong about everything. She did have trouble controlling her emotions, and she knew that.

So, the magus could teleport several people at once, the sorceress could summon...doors out of no where, he was pretty sure the other Anizari was a healer, and though he had yet to see what Cyna could do, he imagined that it was pretty terrifying, considering how rarely she spoke. In his experience, the less someone felt the need to communicate, the more skilled they are. The quiet ones are used to inner reflection and are usually more comfortable studying those around them and their surroundings, than socializing with others. Which is exactly what makes them so dangerous.

Roshan shakes his head to clear it. Why did he feel the need to analyze everything? Because you're too busy trying to rationalize a door appearing out of nowhere, that's why. Just calm down and relax. Just breath and walk through the damn door. He chastises himself silently.

Taking another breath, Roshan looks around one more time before hesitantly stepping through the door. This was definitely something that he wasn't used to, but that didn't mean it was bad or harmful.

Nolletta rolls her eyes. "As you wish."

Female Tiefling Sorcerer 14; Mythic Tier 4th (Archmage) HP: 103/103; AC: 21, T: 14, FF: 17; Fort: +8, Ref: +10, Will: +11, Init: +12, Perception: +11

Sienna waits for Sadhana, Cyna and Celia to walk through the door before following them inside. "Who's hungry?"

After stepping through the doorway, Roshan finds himself in an exquisite mansion.

Tesia's muscles twich slightly as she fights every urge to slap the look off the little twits face. Instead she gives Nolletta a 'don't push your luck' look as a low rumbling sounds in the distance. If there was anything she detested more than a liar, it was one that acted childish as well. At this point, Tesia was thinking about another use for the wooden spoon that she had thought to bring with her. Maybe Nolletta was just never taught any manners. Whatever her problem was, it was really starting to irritate her to her very core.

Roshan just seems a little...distracted as he tries to take in his surroundings.

After taking a few minutes to get his bearings he looks over at Sienna, "Uhhh...yeah, sure."
