Roshan Sharma |
Roshan nods and comes back with four lemonades, and one water.
Roshan passes out the drinks to everyone before sitting down himself and digging in, while somehow managing to maintain some sense of civility.
As Sienna mentions Ilneas he looks up, "Really? So, what's in Ilneas?"

Tesia Stormbringer |
As Tesia, Rhadaya, Nolletta, Mirrin and Magestreia eat, they hear some commotion outside and see some familiar faces erecting a colorful tent in the center of town.
Tesia looks up from her plate to see what's going on.

Roshan had heard of Ilneas, a town settled by paladins of Iomedae and Sarenrae. Ilneas had been the focus of many raids by "bandits". No one was really sure of who the assailants were or who they worked for, but, eventually Ilneas had become a desolate town and the church there fallen into ruin. Roshan thinks there may be some people who yet live there, but no one really goes there anymore.
---
Tesia glances and notices that the people setting up the tent are Edgar and the others from Lysse.
Tesia Stormbringer |
Looking up she smiles, "It's nice to see them putting their talents to good use. Maybe we can catch part of the show before we finish shopping?" She asks, curious since she had never seen one before.
Sādhanā |
"We can only hope. None of us have ever been there before so we don't really know what to expect." Sadhana replies
Roshan Sharma |
Roshan finishes his meal before replying, "To me, the best part of any adventure, is the exploration and discovery of the unknown. It wouldn't really be any fun if you knew what to expect around every corner. Second to that, the most important part of exploration is how you deal with such things when they arise. Not all situations or people you run into are cut from thed same mold, so each situation needs to be carefully measured and dealt with accordingly." He says, obviously deep in thought. It's quite apparent that Roshan has done a fair bit of exploration on his own, from the way he looks at things. It just seems a tad mature for someone that appears so youthful.
Roshan gives the others a smile before standing up after finishing his dinner and lemonade, "Can I get any of you young ladies anything else to eat or drink before we have dessert? I think there's some milk in the cold box storage unit, if anyone would like some with the cookies, or I can just refill your lemonade." He offers, not wanting to make them feel rushed to finish their meal. It really did turn out pretty well, and he thought it would make his grandmother proud if she could see him sharing some of their family recipie's with this amazing group of young women that he had somehow found himself amongst. Their capabilities mostf often left him ikn awe, and he was quite sure that their combat abilities would be just as impressive ifc not more so, should things come to that. Roshan didn't mind the occasional need for violence, and he was capable enough with his weapon....he just preferred not to have to resort to that method of dealing with conflict, whenever possible.
Again, he appears deep in thought as he stands and waits to hear what they would like.
Rhadaya Stormbringer |
"It won't. Besides, it's good to take a moment to appreciate the things that would be lost if we failed. Not just the major things but the more mundane, little things as well." Rhadaya replies to Mirrin
Tesia Stormbringer |
Tesia looks up at Mirrin, "What's wrong? We can't be so serious all the time, it puts people on edge. If it takes az little longer than three days, then so be it. We need time to relax too sometimes, and just....I don't know, do something just for fun sometimes. I promise we won't stay too long, I'm just curious about it....but if you don't care to see it, I can give you some of our money to get what you need." She says, not wanting to make Mirrin feel like she was being forced to go with them.
Cyna Singer |
"Adventure huh? It would be nice to just take a relaxing trip and not have to worry about the life and death thing for awhile." Cyna says with a sigh.
Mirrin Oranna |
"I don't like the concept of 'free time'," Mirrin says. "Mostly because I don't know what to do with it. I'm used to being focused on something and working on that."
Tesia Stormbringer |
Tesia hurries to finish her food, curious to see what Edgar and his group have come up with since leaving Lysse. Tesia listens to Mirrin and Magestreia before wiping her mouth and says, "I know we don't really have a lot of free time...I just thought it would be nice to just sort of relax for a little bit before running ourselves ragged with the next thing on our list that has to be done, and the thing after that, and the thing after that, so on and so forth. I just...I think there needs to be a little fun thrown in all the serious stuff before we forget how to have any." She finishes, sounding a little sulky towards the end.
Roshan Sharma |
Roshan clears the dirty dishes and brings in a large platter of cookies and whatever extra drinks anyone wants before sitting back down at the table and taking a few of the cookies for himself.
He sits quietly and takes his time with the cookies, while thinking about what Sienna and the others had been saying.
After polishing off his third cookie and his glass of milk he says, "I guess our experiences have been a little bit different. While my travels can sometimes take me to some not so nice places, I don't think I can honestly ever say that it's been a lot of life or death situations. Mostly research in sometimes creepy and somewhat dangerous locations. I guess it's a good thing you all came along when you did, or I'm not sure I could have handled the things that would have popped up after dark by myself." He states honestly, while trying to explain what he meant by "adventure". His experiences and theirs were obviously of a different nature, and he didn't want to make anyone feel bad or anything. He hadn't meant to bring up anything unpleasant or that brought up bad memories or feelings for any of them. He could tell that at least a few of them, would probably be back at home instead of whatever it was they were out here doing.
Tesia Stormbringer |
Tesia smiles as she wipes her hands and face, "Great! What are we waiting for then? Let's go see their performance. I'm sure they could use some positive reinforcement, and we can see what they're up to. Twenty minutes tops, I promise, and then we can finish up our shopping and be on our way. Okay?" She asks, the excitement clear in her voice.
Roshan Sharma |
Looking around atg the group, he can tell that they had seen more than their fair share of battle. Knowing what it's like to wander for so long, Roshan gives them an understanding look.
Thinking for a moment he says, "You know....life is full of so many different kinds of adventures, not all of them have to be on the battlefield. Maybe after this "great evil", as you say, is defeated....you can all take some time to enjoy your families and have some adventures in another land perhaps, or just relax at home. Family is precious, and...." It seems as if he has more on his mind, but is having a hard time articulating it.
Tesia Stormbringer |
She pauses, "I'm not sure. Maybe we better ask?" Looking around she waves down a serving girl, "Pardon me Miss, but do we leave our money on the table, or pay up front?"
Sienna Singer |
Sienna commands the unseen servants to gather the dishes, she casts a few cleaning spells and has the servants put them away. "Clean up is not a hassle here."
Roshan Sharma |
Roshan nods before yawning again, "Oh, excuse me ladies, but I think I'll retire for the evening. I look forward to travelling with you all, it should be very....interesting." He says with a chuckle.
Standing from the table he gives them a curtious bow before looking at Sienna, "Does it matter which room I take? This place is huge and amazing, but I didn't know if there were assigned rooms, or if you just slept wherever you wanted to. I...I'm sorry if I seem a little..." Roshan sighs, "I'm actually not sure what I'm trying to say. I'm just not used to being around so many people at one time. It's been a very long time since I travelled with anyone at all. I...I don't always know how to relate or talk to other people."
Shaking his head he gives them a small smile, "It's just going to take some time getting used to, but it might be nice being around other people for a while." Roshan seems a little distant as his thoughts revert back to the information they had found at the Temple.
Roshan Sharma |
Giving the women another bow, Roshan excuses himself and heads to a room.
Inside the room, Roshan takes the time as he's getting ready for bed to reflect on the most recent events. He wasn't sure what they would find behind the locked door, but he had already discovered so much about his family. Roshan finds many different thoughts running through his mind as he lays down in the bed. He was just grateful that the others had showed up when they did, and who knows what he would learn by travelling with them.
Closing his eyes, Roshan says a prayer of thanks to Cayden before pulling the blankets up over himself and falling asleep.
Sādhanā |
"Goodnight." Sādhanā says with a smile as Cyna and Sienna head to bed. "See you all in the morning. Rest well Roshan."
"You've been quiet tonight." she says to Celia as the other's hed to bed.

"Just processing it all I suppose. Wondering how different things might have been had Jarrah not been corrupted and the Anizari taken care of Zahvroma the way we were supposed to." the healer replies with a sigh.
"I suppose not much to be done for it now but to make things as right as we can."
