Pelgrev |

Pelgrev makes a strangled, choking sound. He dashes forward past the other members of the party. A flash is the only indication that he has a drawn a dagger on his way.
He reaches the bound woman, and with a surprisingly gentle touch, cuts her bonds and slowly lowers her to the floor.
You still no pay. Why stay?

Pelgrev |

Pelgrev fishes through his pouches until he produces a small flask. He gently puts it to her lips and slowly pours the contents into her mouth.
cure light wounds potion
drink. What happen?

Reck'Avok |

Your attention is drawn from the touching scene in the middle of the room by a clamor from another tunnel mouth. A trio of tattooed half-orcs, identical to the gang boss, push aside a metal grate which bounces against the floor with a brassy ringing sound. The figures saunter at a casual pace towards the middle of the room, each movement perfectly in sync with the other two. The three speak as one:
"She crossed me, tear. That's what 'appened. I don't fathom what's so f$!&ing 'ard about th' concept - 'oever crosses me gets torn t' f$@+ing pieces. I gave yeh a chance, dogs. Yer messing with a power far beyond yer ken. Smart move is t' turn th' f! around right now, while yeh've got working legs. Run, dogs!"

Freia |

Freia winces as she spots the woman and the stake as they bring back the unwelcome images - images she tried her very best to push as far away as she could. But the worst - the worst was the smell. Thankfully, we are spared that one again ... She hasn't really time to complete the thought before Pelgrev dashes ahead, causing her to almost try and grab him - which would dissipate her last charge of magic.
"Pelg-"
Her call is interrupted as the half-orc once more makes his presence known.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 I assume we might need this roll about now^^
Blue eyes filled with malice fixes the thug from behind the silver mask. The ambient rage that had tugged at her edge sanity finally found its mark - and the darkest part of her soul mirrored it perfectly. With her blood singing songs of ruin and wrath, Freia hoisted her sword and spat.
"RUN?! Never!"

Noro_Kas |

Noro makes her way to the group after tending her wounds as best she could. she arrives behind the rest of the group to the sight before her.
She arrives just in time to hear what the orc had to say.
she was about to show her support to Freia when suddenly Noro freezes. Damn it. why the hell dosh he shound show damn familiar? Noro says somewhat quietly to herself.
standing next to Freia as she says it.
I was wondering if the mask also changes our voice (is Noro's lisp still present?) I think we discussed this before but I forgot.
It may have some effect if reck recognizes noro's Lisp

Zayid Tumaini |

Zayid watches the events unfold in the room silently, his weapon in one hand as his other calms Aboki. At the big half-orc's final remark, he lets out the quietest hint of a snicker. When the orc looks over at him, he shrugs and mutters half-apologetically, "You must not have done very well in your lessons. Aboki is what they call a cat."

Reck'Avok |

Reck chuckle's at the ranger's humor. "Meat is meat."
Striding towards Pelgrev and the bound woman, the trio of half-orcs bark out arcane syllables and are suddenly shrouded in a cloud of swirling mist.
swift action to spend arcane pool point to enhance claw. Move action, cast obscuring mist

Freia |

Round 1
Freia gnashes her teeth and yelps in both annoyance and worry as both Pelgrev and the half-orc disappears in a cloud of fog. With the icy blade in hand, she dashes toward the edge of the cloud. On the way she channels more power into the sword, causing it to crackle with blue eldritch lightning.
"Hang in there Pel! We're comming!"
Double move to current position, swift to activate a pool point
@Reck'Avok - is your name pronounced like 'wreak havoc'? :P

Noro_Kas |

Noro advances closer, unable to get a visual on the orc thanks to the fog.
shoulda guesshed, Shtupid Orc, afraid to fashe me. hidin behind magic caushe yer too weak to put up a real fight.
double move to get into position

GM Choon |

2d20 ⇒ (10, 5) = 15
Inside the cloud, Pelgrev unleashes the beast. His hands grow claws as his rage takes physical form. One swipe misses clean, but the second comes in at a deadly angle and screeches off a shield of force protecting his foe.
Ariana is stymied by the loss of a visual on the target. She moves up to try to get a glimpse of their foe.
Reck up, then Party

"It's not too late t'run, dog!"

Freia |

Without hesitation, Freia strides into the fog, using the shouts and the sound of battle as a beacon. In one moment, there is only mist before her eyes. In the next, the two/four men are wrestling and clawing at each other before her eyes. Resolute, she trusts the icy sword into one of the orcs.
To Hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 4 + (5) + 3 = 13
Second part of damage is non-lethal frost, which causes fatigue (frostbite. Nice spell =))
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage, if AC is 15 or lower (unlikely?): 1d8 + 4 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (6) + 3 = 16
Obscuring Mist (low=bad): 1d100 ⇒ 61
Since the 'tripplets' only dealt a single characters worth of attacks/spells - I guess we are dealing with Mirror Image then?
Which one? (low=bad): 1d3 ⇒ 3

Zayid Tumaini |

Moved Freia 30' south.
Zayid moves into the cloud as well, calling Aboki to attack the orc. The big cat gives a sniff to locate his prey and then lunges for the orc with a vicious growl, as if in retaliation for the species mix-up. Zayid double-moved.
Aboki Bite (flank): 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 2 = 15
Guessing that won't do it, but at least it might get rid of an image. :)

Freia |

Indeed! I assume you have an AC above 15 then :P
A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.
Do note that fatigue also prevents rage IIRC ...
Also note that the fatigue from frostbite cannot upgrade fatigue from something else into exhaustion, so the fatigue reference is only helpful for the penalties :)

Zayid Tumaini |

Indeed! I assume you have an AC above 15 then :P
** spoiler omitted **

It prevents you from entering rage; not from maintaining it.

Noro_Kas |

Noro takes a moment to listen to the sounds of battle, she then advances forward entering into the mist. being cautious as she tries to pinpoint the orc she intends to give a thrashing to.
come out come out wherever you are, ya shtupid Orc. Noro tries to egg him on.

GM Choon |

Pel attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
pel attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Pel experiences a distinct lack of luck in his attacks. Reck avoids both of them. Ariana also moves into the smoke, drawing a scroll as she goes. Coming to Pel, she casts.
Mage armor. Pel's AC is now 16.
Reck, then party up.

Freia |

@Choon, Reck & Pel - Note that both Pel and Reck is suffering from Fatigue, which translates into -1 AC, damage and to hit! So Pel's AC would be 15 (+1 Dex instead of 2, +1 Shield, +1 Dodge, +4 Armour, -2 Rage)

Freia |

Nope, when Pel and Rek strike eachother, they basically cancel each other out except for the -1 to damage.

Reck'Avok |

The half-orc grunts as Freia's blade draws blood. "Cute trick, I can do that too." Bereft of his cloaking mirror images, the gang boss lays into you with tooth and claw.

Freia |

He is using low miss chance (he missed on a 19 earlier!)
Freia snarls at the half orc and takes a step down to further encircle him.
"Pel! Get his back!"
She delays a brief moment for Pelgrev to get into position, then strikes. The mind-numbing cold shooting out from her wound does nothing to slow her down, but does lessen the strength behind the blow.
To Hit: 1d20 + 4 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 1 + 2 = 22
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 38
Damage: 1d8 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 - 1 = 6

Zayid Tumaini |

HP: 16/25, Aboki 9/16
Aboki and Zayid share a growl as the hated orc lands painful blows on them. The tanned young man steps over and taps his companion with a wand, while the big cat growls and moves across from Pelgrev to engage the ugly monster again. Zayid's using the wand of lead blades on Kitteh.
Lead Bite (flank): 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 = 11
Lead Claw (flank): 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10

Or, you know, the dice could just hate me.

Noro_Kas |

you wanna she a trick?, well then keep your eye on the flying fisht
Noro steps toward the sound of combat coming into range of the orc.

Pel attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Really dice!? Why you give all the good rolls to my boss!
Pelgrev is once again unable to connect. Ariana finally moves to within visual range and casts a spell
concentration: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
She successfully casts defensively.
Reck, Will DC 15 or be Dazed for a turn.
Reck up, then Party

Noro_Kas |

ahhh. I got a Pm from reck, yeah that's what it was, and, ahhh, and he says that since Noro is sooo awesome, he is no match for her and decided to completely surrender. and he says something about owing Noro a steak dinner.
just kidding

Reck'Avok |

sorry, gen con got me. I got a post out friday from my phone but a combo of low battery and strip club shenanigans after the con kept y'all waiting for this super long and drawn out post.
will save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Reck grunts as Noro's punch connects. "Thought yeh sounded familiar. Been a long time, girl."
Dazzled by Ariana's spell, Reck is unable to mount an effective offense, and is taken by surprise when Z appears and dusts his face.
don't forget miss chance vs dirty trick

Noro_Kas |

Noro's suspicions are confirmed.
Well, well, well, Reck, ya know, if you were a better kisser, I wouldn't have been forshed to leave, beshides, you shtill owe me that Crab dinner. Noro says as she goes to knee Reck in the gut.

could hit if he is blind and dazed. also is noro flanking? I cant load the map right now

Freia |

Friea once more stabs at the half-orc, trying to take advantage of his preoccupied position. The longsword cuts trough the mist - a powerful slice, but only a blind man would fail to dodge it ...
To Hit: 1d20 + 4 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 - 1 = 13
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 34
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
@Choon, Rek & Dirty Trick - With the risk of cutting myself in the leg, but isn't 20 on a d100 rather bad when looking at a 20% miss chance ... ? Or are you using the high end?
Or is this another moment where I shouldn't take the gifted horse to the dentist ? :)
