So my understanding of the plan is animals are going to distract/disorient the bandit camp, likely from the back side.

The first group is coming in first and from the flank.

The second group is coming in behind the first group and more towards the front of the bandit camp.

Is this correct?

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

As the commotion starts from the back of the bandit camp…..

The first group approaches from the flank of the camp

Three bandits are here standing around the remnants of a fire.

The second group (slightly behind them) approaches from the front of the camp.

What's the roll to see if the thunderstone scares Strawberry?

Torod

Spoiler:

You can throw this stone as a ranged attack with a range increment of 20 feet. When it strikes a hard surface (or is struck hard), it creates a deafening bang that is treated as a sonic attack. Each creature within a 10-foot-radius spread must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be deafened for 1 hour. A deafened creature, in addition to the obvious effects, takes a –4 penalty on initiative and has a 20% chance to miscast and lose any spell with a verbal component that it tries to cast.

deafness is the "actual" effect, but s. Deathstrike is an animal, and the bandit is trying to scare the panther off.
There is no actual game effect for what I am doing ;)

I guess make the save for deafness and go with that.
