Sorry if I seem a little too eager, it just so happens that even though I work full time I have all the time I need to post at work. I basically have 45 hours a week where I can be posting on this game, so I get a little jumpy. This is why I'm in three pbp's and always looking for more!

Sorry about all the chatter on the gameplay! Sad that my crit didn't count even though I didn't need it. Rolling two 20's is so rare for me!

And what do we have for the contestants behind this possibly trapped door?
Well, we've got more death, destruction, and despair! And possibly more shadowy creepy things!
And if they manage to make it through that?
More of the same, probably behind another trapped door!!
Sorry, my sarcastic humor is strong this morning ;)

Well, it seems that you have the best skills to deal with the situation, so if anything goes wrong the muscle here will jump in. I say post as much as you can!

Sorry Medraut, but you have no common language with the elemental so other than attacking he won't understand your verbal commands. You can try a DC 15 bluff check to pantomime what you want him to do as a standard action.
Also, there are two visible 'foes', the man Fane and the woman Oana. My guess is you were talking about Fane who is currently trying to push Luke out of the doorway.

No worries! I'm surprised I didn't notice, I'm always angry when I do that. I try not to correct too often, though, in fear of sounding pretentious.

Will do! I'm sure that inevitably I will make plenty of my own mistakes and will be humbled by them as well. If you didn't notice I used the wrong to/too at first in my last comment and it said "no too correct too often" which I quickly edited once I re-read it! That happens to me a lot, I need a copy editor for my posts...

Haha! I knew I'd provoke it, but when I saw my attack I just had to try. It was stand there and get hit or try and get away and maybe get hit. Another STR drain and I'll lose another +1 on my modifiers. Not to mention the whole going 12 points negative on my hp and just about dying.

Lorzub is probably not the type for that kind of thing, but do you know the withdraw action? Would have been the safer move in this situation.
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw that you can only withdraw from enemies you can actually see. Never noticed that before, but totally makes sense.

Well, I didn't know that, and was actually about to ask if I had a better option. In any case it's still good to know about that.

There's also the option to use total defense in lieu of an attack to boost your AC. But that's also a dodge bonus so no good against invisible foes, just an FYI.

Haha! I wasn't sure what to go with in a pinch. I didn't put the translation down for certain... reasons, but I'm sure you brought it over to google translate. I felt that the chosen words were an accurate reflection of my real life feelings about the situation. Although, when translated back the words are a little different. I use Norwegian for Dwarves too.

No freaking kidding. Creepy shade things, no problem I can handle them! Invisible, flying, smart@$$ creatures, no game.
