And all realistic to me. It would be a rare group of commandos, soldiers, knights etc that never had any internal conflict. Especially with all the Massive pressure on them and all the other crap going on.

Just now trying to figure Aylaeth's reaction here...but she does think that going all the way to Lhanzu for something that might still be there by the time we get there, or, might be anywhere, being mobile in the hands of the RD (as far as they know) and bypassing a much closer abomination which, as far as they know, is stable and in one location, having been there for some time, (according to the info they have is not the most logical path.
She also feels that Damian is possibly not himself, and, to her significant distress, is beginning to have, for the first time, some doubts about her commanding officer. She does not know, or fully understand, this new Damian, and so does not know his motivations.
And hmm, some of this may end up in her post, so sorry for any duplication, just working it 'out loud' how she feels...
I have to say that you're all doing an amazing, incredible job right now in this meeting room scene. Very interesting watching all the different characters really come out, and it's a testament to how well all of you have thought out and developed your characters that the interaction is so life-like. I would not want to be in Min or Aylaeth's shoes right now.
If this stuff is even half as much fun to write as it is to read then y'all must be having a blast 'cos it's an amazing read. Keep it up! :-D

-Find out what the fate of the monstrous children will be, intervene/aid if he can.
-Pay money towards the Warbanians for their aid in the volcano
-Pay for new designed gear for Lin. Speak with merchant about her dragonrider customers, try and make anew contact for the continuing war effort.
-Look into getting glammered added to armor for Lin
-Look into getting elven armor enchanted with +1 to ac if it can be done by the next day prior to departure.
-If he runs out of time to complete the above before dinner he will hold off until dinner is done to complete them.
-Before it is too late he will return to the hall of the Slain Throe to speak with them.

Basicaly what Aylaeth wanted to do/has done is to switch the holy crossbow and +1 staff for a holy staff and +1 crossbow.
Then also +1 armor for Tora'an. Mithral if she can afford it and it makes any difference to his stats.
She may pick up a couple other little things, like teleport magic and more special bolts etc. PS Are there any more existant? Or just the two kinds?
Oh, and is there any gp in the party pool?
There should be some all Mai's gold except for the bag of holding is party gold.

Ya, I hear ya. I enjoyed those scenes, but definitely somewhat emotionally intense. If you like, we can write it off with Aylaeth verbally kicking his posterior and her riding off all smug and satisfied. So Mithral armored adjusted armor penalty checks. Is that including the masterwork armors adjustment or not?
Such a well-made item functions like the normal version, except that its armor check penalty is lessened by 1.
Spell failure chances for armors and shields made from mithral are decreased by 10%, maximum Dexterity bonuses are increased by 2, and armor check penalties are decreased by 3 (to a minimum of 0).
Livain is thinking about a mithral agile breastplate at some point or Elven chainmail.
@Livain: I think you would be better off with a Mithral Chainshit +1 if they had it.

This was an older post of mine showing the benefits of the current armor she has over the idea of upgrading to something supposedly better. Any armor she upgrades to may give her more AC but she will lose Dex bonus in the long run.
While Agile Mithril Breastplate seems like a good option it falls under the same problems as above.

I'd say add a ring of Protection and youd get your +13 ac without minusing your dex or gaining an ACP either. A ring would also give a deflection bonus instead of a AC.

The big thing is if you start minusing from your dex, then when your caught Flat Footeed your AC may be higher, but your touch AC will be lower as a result. I'm sure that when the next stat point comes she's going for a +7 Dex eh? Just things to consider~
You could always get a +1 on her armor now and save up and get the next step up later and it would be better then the other two armors. Hopefully that was helpful!
Also if her Neck slot is open she can use Amulet of Natural Armor and gain a +1 there, it'll still cost way less then Agile Mithril Breastplate +2
She may even have enough left over for Shadow or Glamered enchantments~

It definitely helped gathering all that gear and selling it off later, that BoH Type 1 will be a great boon! Poor Lin was carrying a lot of stuff. Hence the other reason my saddlebags were toast.

She really likes the shadow idea only she only has enough gold for the amulet hells I might just give her Maiathreen's it'd only drop him down to a 29 armor class and allow her to keep her remaining 2009 gold.
Well I'm glad to provide some interesting Idea's for you to think about. Besides with your back grounds I always pictured Mai and Livain going all Shadow Stalker/Assassin in the future. Her with a wand of silence, some heavy stealth mods and her bow of death snipering from a shadowy rooftop. While Mai moves along the ground bringing the hurt to those foolish enough to engage him with his blackblade. :)
I may not be a Maximizer of any sort but I look at simple concepts and since she is a fighter class the less Negatives to her skills the better. :)
Hence why Min remains with his armor, it works and its easier to upgrade then to replace gear entirely. Counts as Light Armor and well, I can't wear anything above light without dipping into another class which I won't do. :P Because I Really want Dragonform :) So I have to go all the way to lvl 20. Which will give me 20 minutes as a Huge Silver dragon. >:)
