Posted in the other thread. I see what you are saying now. But this way gets two killed the other would not. It is confusing since you were all bunched up. Anyhow let's just move on it doesn't matter since you got two kills
2 kills AND Gorou still standing. =)
Yep, happy to move it right along. =D

Just so you know, MiniGM, I have not been applying any penalty to my attacks from behind people since soft cover usually should be added to my target's AC and I didn't want to wind up double dipping on the penalties.
I have been rolling a bunch of 20's, but I just want to clarify before that streak ends.

The dice gods are clearly playing favorites, the rest of us can't roll above 10 and someone keeps rolling 20s.

Nari I am no where near the hard ass dmdm is you will be fine. Though I bet he would approve of the goblin babies I added
They were added in? Grr....
Btw, did Darinius drop a goblin? If so, it affects my action for this round.

Maybe Gorou is right. I should probably be in front since I will have a stupidly huge amount of hp for a caster. Then again I have a reach weapon so I have to keep some distance.

Reach weapon could work well for a front-liner with a decent perception score, since you can get AoOs if anyone tries to close into melee. That said, we should probably be alot more cautious moving forward. We were hoping the goblins would be sleeping, not waiting to spring us as we opened doors, but it seems things aren't working out that way...

Well, that's not a good development.

The game will continue just a question of how king till I can continue it. This combat can continue though
Glad to hear it! =) I think we're all done posting our actions for this round anyway. =)
Rawr! More goblin kills! We may need to rest up at some point though. Or Thribden may have trouble keeping us all alive.

I actually appreciate a DM who's willing to replace players who don't post. Wish more would. However, four days might be a little fast? I'd give her a week or at least, it could be something IRL that's out of their hands.

Aye, GM-possessing her will suffice to keep things rolling in the mean time.
That said...I suppose the time spent finding a replacement is also time in which the player could return with a post. So...give her a week to post, then another week whilst recruiting a replacement?
Or something like that. *shrug* I'm just not a fan of losing party members.

I am a bigger fan of losing players than of waiting for haphazard posters. In this case she has been a good poster up until this point, but if we are to move at a reasonable pace, we need to keep moving and bot her for a while.
My one comment is that with few exceptions, everyone on this site has ready access to the internet, or at least a smartphone. It only takes a minute to log on and drop a note that you are out of touch because of a family emergency, or were suddenly asked to fly to siberia, or will be hibernating for 3 months. Simply disappearing without explanation, something that I have seen happen in several of my campaigns over the last 2.5 years, is simply unacceptable to me.

Agreed for the most part. I'm just saying without being told that ahead of time in plain terms, Thrib's player might come back from a busy week and be upset that they got kicked from the game. If MiniGM is ready to deal with that possibility, then by all means.
I think 48 hours is a reasonable amount of time before you become an NPC, and ~seven days (without warning) before you get mercilessly killed off and replaced.

I see that I have returned just too late. I am sorry for my absence and understand the decision to replace. I wish it could have been avoided, but it is what it is. Sorry again for holding up the game. Enjoy the rest of the campaign everyone!
MiniGM
Thrib I have not replaced you as of yet. If you would like to continue you can, but next time you will be removed much sooner.
I don't want to sound like a dick but it is just so discourteous to me and the other players
Absences are fine but ii expec t a post saying "away for a few days". If you can do that then you can return
Thribden Malkut Diniya
Thank you for the second chance. I do understand and if there are any more problems will let you know.
Thribden Malkut Diniya
Eh, I could go for that. Although, I can also put out a fire pretty easily.
Thribden Malkut Diniya
I circled what appears to be a ladder. It looks like it might have been the type of thing Thribden was looking for and that she can get to it. Is that not correct?
Thribden Malkut Diniya
No, I was just wanting to climb it and try to find a second entrance entrance to the room. Attempting to surround it, so as to alleviate, at least to some measure the bottlenecking we've been having.
