Stonz attacks spider 3 dealing it 7 damage. The spider is baldy injured but still in fighting shape.
attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 241d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Lilly, wag and Sputnikk can post. (post in any order)

Lilly Hennett |

Move: Draw and aim crossbow
Attack: Shoot at the nearest spider.
Lilly aims at the nearest spider and takes aim:
"I dislike crawling things if they are oversized."
Release bolt: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Damage of the bolt: 1d8 ⇒ 7
"Did the bolt strike true?"

DireMerc |

Unfortunately your shooting into melee so you get a -4 which makes you miss lily
Sputnikk attempts to strike spider 3 with a telekinetic fist! He punches it with his mind for 5 damage! Spider 3 goes down.

Spider 4 attacks Stonz but only manages a small nibble. Dealing 1 damage.
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d6 ⇒ 1
Firebeard, Min and Stonz again. really seems to be only firebeard

Firebeard |

Firebeard sidestepped and launched another pair of kicks at the closest spider. It seemed as if he had been too long without using his martial skills, and the experience thrilled through him. Unlike most of the monks that he trained with, he was a dwarf, and fighting wasn't a chore or a sad duty, it was exhilarating!
"Take tha', ye scrawny, eight-legged freaks o' natchure!"
You said that Min killed Spider 1 in Friday's post, but then in today's you said Spider 1 attacked Min. Is Spider 1 still alive? If so, I'll hit that one, with flanking (add +2 to the hit rolls below). If not, I'll 5' step down to H8 and smack the spider there.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Firebeard |

"Now that be a fight t' ge' th' juices flowin', eh? Too bad abou' them bites though. Want Min here t' suck th' poison out? He's so durn sweet, he could prolly take care o' th' job and leave ye happier fer it!"

DireMerc |

The flames have spread into the spider cave creating enormous flames nearly twenty feet high that block further travel into that tunnel at least until the flames go out. It seems the walls ceilings and floors of the entire cavern complex on the eastern side was covered in thick webs.
It seems that your little beacon has drawn some attention as well as you hear an enormous roar that shakes the entire complex and you hear a sound coming closer. Wooosh, wooosh, wooosh the beating of very big wings as from somewhere above a large red scaled dragon is coming down to investigate.

Lilly Hennett |

Lilly, never having seen an actual dragon, is somewhat unnerved as well as fascinated. However this is a definate HIDE situation.
"I propose the idea of getting to a i'm-not-here spot. Perhaps it shall just go by us."

Firebeard |

"Ach! I dinnae know wha' th' beastie is spittin' abou' back there, bu' I want none o' i'. at least 'e's not spoutin' off fireballs an' such. Last time I ran int' one o' them, took me near a year t' get me beard back!"

Sputnikk |

Swallowing hard Sputnikk speaks up, The dragon wishes us to pay him tribute to pass through these caverns.
i thought this campaign was all over.

DireMerc |

Nah I wouldn't do that. I mean if you'd decided to attack the dragon yes he most likely would have killed you all but I didn't think you would. As a note this campaign is designed as a sandbox adventure you can go anywhere you wish at anytime and most location have creatures already decided for them. Some of those creatures are too dangerous for you to beat right now so you might need to come back later or find a way around.

DireMerc |

Having fled the dragon you return to the lonesome drake for a night of rest.
Xarol and Stonz at this points decide they will be leaving the group for a time.
I think Min is still around? I'll leave him in the group for now. We will proceed with the group of Lilly, Sputnikk, Wag, firebeard and Min.If he doesn't start posting again I will Npc him in combat and have him leave the group next time you return. If anyone comes back they can rejoin the group for the next outing.

Min Maximus |

Min's seemingly vacant eyes spring to life.
Oh... oh my aching head...
He reaches into his tunic and pulls out his flask... now very empty of whatever its contents were...
Did I really drink all of it... hmmm... what is going on??? Where are we? Did we kill them spiders... oh... oh man... Well hey guys! How's it going? You all look tired. Like you just outran a dragon or something.

Firebeard |

"Ach! Ye daft hunk o' gristle, where ye been? Head stuck in th' fumes o' bad whiskey? Th' spiders're deader than hyena spit, an' their were a dragon. Big 'un, chased us out o' that big place'n demanded tribute. Hah! We showed 'im though. Went another way, we did. Now, are ye ready t' git back t' adventurin'? Mebbe try one o' them other paths on that map? Mebbe even try staying down there more'n a day?"

Firebeard |

"Lookin' a' th' map, i' seems like we ken still be goin' up to t' Fire Temple if'n tha's where we are still headed. Or, we ken head northeas' from th' lake an' check out th' spot marked Orcs an' see abou' tha'. I be happy either way."

Min Maximus |

fire temple eh? Well I got a burning fire in me gut. An in me head. Looks like a sign if I ever seen one. Onward!
Min will unsheath his mighty blade and proceed onwards down the tunnel towards the temple

Lilly Hennett |

Lilly looks at the enthusiastic Min and shrugs. As long as he doest't show some fiery temper wanting to go down in a blaze, it'll be fine....right?

DireMerc |

Ok so you leave the drake and go back into the tunnels. You travel avoiding the orcs and the dragon lair and you go for the fire temple. It takes about 9 hours of uneventful traveling to get there. You arrive at a large stone wall fifteen feet tall. It appears ancient and features a large gate. The gate is closed. You also notice that a section of the wall is breached but a wooden palisade was built to plug the hole.

Min Maximus |

min Maximus the tenth, last known holder of the ancient powerful fighting technique passed down the Maximus line for ten generations! It is I that is here alone with a crew of the finest of warriors, finest of whiskeys, and the finest of ladies!
Min winks at Lilly.
we were just wondering what's up, bro

Waglinde |

"Do you validate?"
Wags holds up a parking voucher
"But seriously, I am gald you didn't shot us on sight. That's a good sign. Since you're down here, and happen to have a neato frito little fort thing going on, would you be open to peaceful negotiations? It would be handy for us, as we are exploring this underground realm and are only armed in case we run across wild creatures, to find a place we can camp and referesh ourselves, perhaps trade goods from the surface fro whatever fine wares you have here. An inn or tavern perhaps would be spectacular."

Lilly Hennett |

At Min's wink she quickly replies;
"Huh? Remember you not miss Waglinde? My person is not the single lady at this point."
Lilly then looks up at the goblins and in a low tone whispers to her comrades;
"They seem less of the i-kill-you-on-sight types. Perhaps such can benefit us?"
She tries to think of any diety known by that name.
Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
But nothing seems to ring a bell.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Lilly looks back at the goblins and says in a calm and polite tone:
Good sirs, who is this great Flauros you speak of? I have heard of many, but his name is not yet known to me.
If it pleases you, if you would let us in and share with us the knowledge of the great Flauros, our friend Maxmimus will armwrestle your 3 strongest at once for your entertainment."

Min Maximus |

... wait... I thought Wags was just David Bowie in disguise trying to make a new life for himself away from all that fame... fame fame fame fame fame fame fame fame.
He scratches himself and wonders...
Do we have anything precious to trade... I wonder if goblins make a good mead... if not, maybe I'll get ta kill one eh?

Sputnikk |

Sputnikk tries to think if the name Flauros rings any bells. Knowledge religion 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23. His ears wiggle and eyes light up.

Sputnikk |

His facial features change to one of concern and says in a low voice, This can't be good!. He gestures for the others to gather near. To the goblin he says, One moment fine sir! he then tells them about what he knows. Flauros is also known as "The Burning Maw, Lord of Volcanoes, Lord of Fire and Salamanders." He is mostly worshiped by beings of fire. Such as fire giants, salamanders, fire mephits, red dragons, but he is also sometimes worshiped by smiths and metalworkers of humanoid races. The occasional arsonist will also pray to him. Flauros is also worshipped by the drow of the noble House Caldrana who specialize in using the powers of elemental fire to forge weapons of legendary quality.

Sputnikk |

Still in a low voice, I'm not so sure I wish to meet this, Flauros character! It sounds dangerous. More so than anything we've encounter in this death trap of a dungeon! I'd rather go bargain with the dragon! At least he didn't try to kill us before parleying a deal! Sputnikk, still with the look of concern eyes his companions WAITING for some opinions.
