Dhampir urban ranger will be my application, crunch and fluff to follow!
Ah sorry, didn't see you there!
Would have been nice to have duelling dhampir rangers, but I'm going to withdraw my interest.
Too many other irons in the fire and thinking of doing some GM'ing myself. So, all the best with your character application Aeolar :)

This is Zefig, getting my inquisitor of Horus set up. I'm kind of speculating on domains at this point, but given Horus's focus in history I think protection (defense) is a fairly safe bet. If I need to change thimgs once the article on the old gods in the AP comes out, I can do that. I'll wait to buy my weapons until then too (for favored weapon) but I dont think that will be as big of a deal.
Any chance you'll be giving out pfs chronicle sheets for this as it gets sanctioned?

Here is my character. It's kind of a strange build. A small skinchanger (theoretically halfling-descended but mechanically a normal skinchanger with small size) for maximum sneakiness, but he doesn't take any strength penalties. I'm planning on dipping a level of cleric (one of the old gods) to get the Darkness/Night domain (Separatist archetype if necessary to get the free choice of domain), and at level 6 I will take the Shadowdancer prestige class.

There will be a one week notice to submit when the softcover arrives in the white cardboard wrapper.
Haven't thought about pfs. But then I would have to ban synthesis summoner.
(Sarcasm intended)
You're in campaign mode, the PFS rules are completely irrelevant, you just need to fill out chronicle sheets every time you get to the end of a book.

Ah! Of course the newest AP is always the most interesting!
But as an old Dark Sun, Fallout and Dune fan, i like nearly all desert settings. And the description of this AP is much more thrilling than some of the last to me.
I have a huge interest of playing this AP and i´m also thinking about running it myself. But i really would like to play it before.
GM Tribute, can i ask where you get that 15 point buy idea from?
Didn´t see that anywhere yet and i have to say my S&S group would not have made it with 4 people and such a build (no criticism to your style, just curious).
I already have an idea for an charakter, but i want to read the new Osirion book before, because it really needs backup.

My stats are a little bit more fleshed out.
As for PFS chronicles, yeah, I was figured we were doing campaign mode, which means that after we finish each book, you can give us each a chronicle (including yourself) that we can apply to characters within each chronicle's level range. There's more info about it in chapter 6 of the PFS guide.

I have found that 20pts is the new standard as GM's like to modify encounters to reflect their own style. It also means your characters are less likely to TPK on the first or second encounter, which I have seen happen. To upscale an encounter is easy if you want. Also many DM's take on larger groups, so the encounters have to change.
But back to a choice between 15, 20 or 25, I have always found it depends on the game the GM wants to play. All can be fun. Heck I even saw a 40 pt game once (we were playing the children of gods) and that was a tough game.

I think, thematically, it makes more sense to take the Resurrected campaign trait for Raziya and change her alignment to Chaotic Neutral. Worshipper of Pharasma, and the resurrection and her own past have given her an intense fascination with death, and life on the edge of death.

Hey all. Here is Dusty Fireseeker's background
Her father had taken in a cargo while docking in Osirian, for delivery to absalom. It was a large crate, closed with chains. Her father was reluctant, but the pay was excellent, as mother said. The first night out it emerged. First a storm rose up out of nowhere, and then, one by one the crew was devoured by a thing, drinking their life blood. It took a while before the crew realised it was being attacked, and by then half the crew and passengers were dead.
Dusty's father gather her, her mother and the rest of the crew on the sterncastle of the ship, then he steered back to Osirian. The creature animated the dead crew and attacked with them. When a crewman fell next to her, Dusty seized his scimitar and struck at the zombie that had done the deed. The fight went on, then the author of this horrible night came itself. Dusty's fell, her life drained away and his father attacked the creature with a renewed frenzy. It just laughed. Then snapped his neck. As it turned to Dusty and the last few, despairing crew, and then a fire lit inside h Dusty.
"Help me" she cried as he struck at the creature. His scimitar suddenly exploded into flame as he slashed at it, causing it to scream in pain. Then a firery angel appeared, causing all the zombies to fall to ash. The creature fled, leaping overboard, shreiking in agony. The angel turned to her, with sad eyes and she heard a voice. "Will you let this stand?"
"No!"
"Then become what you are now destined to be. Destroy those things that twist life and death into undeath. Seek them ouit. Do this is Saranrae's name."
Then a bright light blinded all. When their vision cleared, Dusty and the survivors were on the shore watching the Noon Star crash against rocks. It was dawn. Shet felt the crews eyes on her as she open the sea chest near her. In the distance there was a small fishing village.
Holding the scimitar she collected a portion of the gold in the chest and looked at them. "take what you need. Goodbye."
As she walked away one of them yelled "do you seek your parents killer?"
Dusty, now the fireseeker turned, a fell smile on hers face. "Yes. And all those things like it."
She walked into the brightening dawn.

Heyo, blog post with a basic overview of the Egyptian gods is up.
Looks like I'm going to need to switch things up on my god/domain. I'll work on that soon.

GM Tribute |

The Player's Guide is out--I recommend giving it a read. Abadar, Irori, Pharasma and Sarenrae seem to be thematic and appropriate deities to worship.
The party will be a young adventuring group that is drawn to the lottery to explore the tombs being opened for exploration. The lack of experience has encouraged the adventurers, not wanted by any of the more experienced groups, to band together and form their own group.
After a cursory read, I am quite impressed. This AP starts off and continues in a way all its own.
