The Frostfur Captives (Inactive)

Hey everyone!

I've been having so much fun with PBP in general, I thought I would do the world a favour and attempt to transform my GM powers to the paizo boards.
In doing this I will of course require the aid of several players who will want to undertake this journey with me.

Having just finished reading the Guide to PFS Play thoroughly, I haven't decided on the scenario yet, but this is what I'm going/looking for.

• Adventure will be tier 1-5, preferably around level 2, coming from season 3 or 4;
  
• Players will be asked to post a bare minimum of once per day, but encouraged to check/add 2-3 times. I like to keep things moving! :)
  
• Standard PFS rules

I thought I'd give the players out there a head's up, I'll post which scenario later on today.

The horn has sounded three times... I wonder who will answer its call..

Just finishing up my fifth PFS adventure. Count me in.

I've pretty much just got new 1st level characters, but I'd love to join. Unless party balance dictates otherwise, I'd likely bring in a Cavalier.

What level will you be after this campaign? Coz I'm aparently looking at a lot of level 1 characters.

Rick, I recommend you choose the scenario first, then you'll know who'll be able to play in it depending on your choice. I have a level 3 cleric I'll offer up to play depending on the game offered.

Ditto what Nebten said. A person can only play a scenario once...regardless of which character he or she used.

I have level 3 barbarian who is free.

I was originally thinking about The Frostfur Captives. What do you guys reckon?

Kujo, its tough love. And it builds character too. Besides, if I was a betting man (which I am) and a drinking man (which I am), I would have to say . . . uh, I forgot where I was going with that (takes another swig).

Besides, that game came right during my Spring-Break-Wrestle-Bears-in-the-wild-a-thon! I couldn't leave you guys hanging for a week and a half.

I can't play Frostfur Captives, but don't change just for me. I want you to be the person you truly are, and soar!

Jory is level 2, one more for level 3!

Jory did first steps 1-3 temple of empyreal enlightenment and rise of goblin guild.

Jory is a stealthy zen archer.

FFC is probably 1-2 and 4-5? Kujo will continue to follow around the cleric of Calistra until she gives in.

I'm doing First Steps in PbP right now and I haven't done any other scenarios yet.

Zynep places her spiked boot heel on Ajax's lowered shoulder to push him further to the ground.

You caught me. That's why I have a soft spot for you. I made her up years ago. She was to be a Harrower, then I found out Harrowers were banned. Now, I like to play her as a guiding mother-type to make sure new Pathfinders make it home safely. =v)

You seem to have enough people if I'm counting right, but put me down as interested if a slot frees up. I have a level 2 sylvan-blooded sorceress I've made specifically for PBP PFS, and she'd be ready to go with just a tweak or two.

I'm quite a demanding GM, just warning you in advance. ;)

Can't post, other problems, ...: let me know, there is a PM function for a reason on this board :)

Some things, as said before:

• Bare minimum of 1 post per day, more is encouraged.
  
• Take your time to write it. I prefer a paragraph to a single line.
  
• Watch your formatting. This means italic for thoughts, bold for speech, and blue (but mainly the discussion forum) for OOC talk.
  
• Actions in combat, dice rolls, etc in a spoiler-tag.
  
• Same with whispers to the DM, or other players, or when speaking in a certain language.
  
• Take a look at this character, and the stats under her name. This is very helpful, and I would like to ask of you the same.

Hey there Alan! Oh this brings back memories. Specifically that of a lv 1 party being unable to take down skeletons but us laughing as they completely failed to stand up in grease :p

It's nice to have a backup, just in case. Some of the lads are not responding, so your chance might arise after all :)

Rope is standard issue in the Pathfinder's Kit. The Decemvirate really knows what's up.

At this point following the season's my loyalty goes towards Amara Li before the Decemvirate, however Sheila Heidmarch is quickly coming up as a new favorite. If season 5, reveals a Varisian Faction I might consider switching.

It looks like Alan may get picked up in another pbp but I have a couple levels 1s to feel in as needed. They are
