I'm going to chain-cast mending until the bar is 100%.

Targoth and fellow owners of the charred...I mean "Jolly" Well. Those of you who will be involved in the "interview" process please make sense motive checks in an effort to detect the spy I am ultimately going to plant in your business.

Lock; after doing enough blow to kill a horse you chain cast mending for one week straight. All items that had the "broken" condition are now repaired. All items that had the "destroyed" condition are still "destroyed".

So...post your sense motive checks in this thread (feel free to chime in on any particular skill you may have that makes you a good judge of character) and someone come up with the plans for the new layout of the Jolly Well.

I feel the mending spell should have a material component...and it should be a roll of duct tape.

In other news.....IT'S BEAR WEEK!!! Same rules as last time, have your rolls in by halftime on Sunday. My prizes will be Cutler v. Rodgers themed....in the form of Magic Items!!! For example, a Rodgers style prize might be a magical ring to match his Superbowl ring while a Cutler style prize might be a Helm of Smug Expression.....

You never do know so be sure and play on Sunday!

13 sense motive.Should put points into it but doesn't seem like something Lock would do.
82 for the score thing, I'm trying to come in dead last for both games cause I detest magic items, or my luck with dice does at least.

Rusty can't log in or something so his Sense Motive roll is 1,score 54.

I don't know who the f!@@ Rusty is, but I happened to roll the same thing. Except I'll chose the score of 45 instead of 54. I'm guessing mike didn't understand the rules and would prefer 28 to 82.

Remember, you have until the end of half time to set your scores in stone.

Last session marked the end of Act I: Yellowtooth's Warning. Our next session will mark the beginning of The Farce of Chandar, Act II: Shades of War.

Rivermead, currently under Uruk-Har occupation, is twice the size of Seven Snakes and the only major metropolitan area in all of Chandar. It was home to High Priest Frehly of Erastil and Sir Wilhelm Randall, both ranking members of the free council. According to Ojest (seemingly the leader of the massive band of refugees now in Seven Snakes) Randall is impaled on a Uruk Har standard and Frehly is splayed open and crudely nailed to the doors of the main temple of Erastil. Dark times indeed.........

Fools! I told you I would simply be re-made.......sons and daughters of the mask...now is our time....praise be to the ascended!!!!

Just so you know this numbnuts ,but you're going to get tired of being killed long before I get tired of killing you.
That goes double for Logan.

Chandar is a new, steamy warm shit. Your words are like frantic flapping wings, belonging to a green eyed fly who intends to call the shit home.

21 Sense motive.

0 and 4, so I do believe I'll take 40

69 bro......

Results and prizes to post later today!!

1st Place = Lock
2nd Place = Dusty
3rd Place = Rusk

No other participants. Prizes posted soon!

Instead of assinging prizes per position, I will list 3 rings here and you will draft them in the order you placed (i.e. Mike picks, then TJ, then Tim).

Ring of Alertness (+3 insight bonus to perception)

Ring of Feathers (constant feather fall effect)

Ring of Melee Alacrity (when making an attack at full BAB, 10% chance to gain another attack at your full BAB)

Also, because of the SAAWEEP!!! As thanks a refugee from Rivermead hands you a bag containing enough ingredients for each of your party members to craft one item in the altar (tier 1 ingredients only)

See you at gaming!

Question about the ring, is that any attack made at full Bab or is it one per round (i.e. only the first attack in a round)?

Any attack made at full BAB. Attacks from haste, even extra attacks the ring would give you since they are made at full BAB. Just roll percentile with your d20. If you get hot, you could string a lot of attacks together.

Well part of the reason I ask is that technically all of Logan's natural attacks are made at his highest BAB, same deal for him?

Does he have primary/secondary?

But yes, same would apply for the badger.

All his attacks are considered primary.
And YAY Logan got bling!

Well there you have it! Dusty is next...

I'll take the ring of feather fall... I'm already pretty percepty

That puts the perception ring in your hands rusk. Remember, it's insight, so it will stack with most other items.

Ojest, who you have identified as a leader among the refugees, has shown interest in working for The Jolly Well. Having had dealings with Ojest prior to the interview process, it was a breath of fresh air when he asked about employment.

During the interview you learned; That in Rivermead Ojest owned his own carpentry business. Although no dwarf, he also has some experience with masonry and stone work. He can field dress and animal, clean a fish and operated a small hobby farm at his home in Rivermead (mostly vegetables used to feed his friends and family) but he offered to plant onions, potatoes and corn behind the Well to see if anything would stick to the urban soil.

He has three children, Jonathan (10), Framtosh (8) and his only daughter Lizbeth (5). His wife remains trapped in Uruk-Har occupied Rivermead, he has no idea if she is dead or alive. His brother-in-law Fram is also with him. Fram has a wife and daughter (Ojest's sister and niece)but they did not make it out of Rivermead either, and their status is also unknown. Fram is an alcoholic and Ojest claims he is not capable of supporting himself.

In lieu of any payment, Ojest offers to work for simple room and board and promises they would portion out their meals as to not affect the profits. If that is too much, he and Fram can stay in tents in the back, but at the very least he would want his children to stay indoors and have access to food and water.

He claims to be a fast learner and claims he will perform any task asked, even scrubbing the privy if it means food and shelter for his family and....not having to borrow funds from that Ricamros fellow.

He seems to be earnest and honest..as far as you can tell.

"Well our kitchen b#!@! does most of the hiring" (points to Targoth),
"but Logan likes you and that's good enough for me".

Let's take a vote. All in favor of hiring Ojest say aye. I'll count two aye's for Lock and Logan.

Aye

aye

The "aye's" have it.

Ojest, seemingly elated that you have decided to offer him the position, immediately goes to work with extreme vigor.

After about an hour of testing, measuring and calculating he approaches the party with a wide smile;

"It seems as though the stone work and foundation are in fine condition and should only require some small repair, a stone and some mortar here or there. If you could provide the timber, we could run new rafters and bat down new thatching by dinner service. If you could get enough skins, we could run them around the east side of the building as a make shift wall for now, just to keep the chill out, you could almost open for business tonight..."

Ojest continues, "They should have plenty of timber and thatch at the market. If some one can fetch those items, I'll get going on the stone repairs."

Eldak Onyxarm is the self-proclaimed king of the frost giants. The frost giants inhabit Eldaks keep, a huge fortress in the northwestern range of the Erikol Mountains that overlooks the North Brimwood Forest and Serpents Pass.

Eldak claims Serpents Pass and most of the northwestern Erikols as his territory. Not even the Uruk-Har wander into his lands.....ever.

He has a short, violent temper and most of you were told stories about him as children or were even threatened with him if you misbehaved.

He claims no loyalty; however, rumor has it that he has loaned his services out in the past for a hefty fee.....

How much does 'hefty' go for these days?

Let's pray you don't have to find out...

Don't think we can cook up some frost giants!

Frost Giant Meat Pie with a Badger cream sauce?

Tessara Amrunelara is queen of the Caladrel Elves that call the West Brimwood their home. She holds a seat on the free council and recently did not appear for a meeting, marking the first time since the creation of the council that it has met with only 6 of the 7 members.

The Caladrel control most of the land access to West Sea. They tend to avoid the other settlements.

Lord Tyne DeRolue is the elected leader of Seven Snakes. He represents the city on the free council. His family lives in Nobles Palace, almost directly across Government Road from The Jolly Well.

Targoth every morning is gonna leave a bag of flaming pooh on the steps of lafrenchys palace.

I say we deposit dragon eggs in his palace.
Or the damned church.

I say we let him go... No!!!

52 for game

After careful thought, and much deliberation, I have decided to go with 00

I don't see this being a 17 point game so I have to go with 71.

I'll go with 47

Ok....there all in, good luck and Go Pack!!

Dusty wins!! Congrats! You win a +2 tome of the ability of your choice. All other participants win a +1 tome for the ability of your choice. See yah soon!!

Saturday 1-10-2015 marked the end of The Farce of Chandar Act II: Shades of War. Our next session, we begin Act III: Malice; And A Clenched Fist.

The Ascended grows tired of the heroes of the Jolly Well......

Look for more prizes during the NFC Championship game on 1-18-2015. Same rules, have the rolls posted by the end of the half.

Go Pack!!

A thought occurs to Russk. We don't actually know for sure that the church kicked the orphans out. Ojest may have convinced them to release them into our custody, since his intention was apparently to sacrifice them the entire time.

Also. 89

I am changing my total to 36.

Ok lads.....get them rolls in!!!

Lock is going with 47.
Stardust, 59.
