If I purchased PDF maps from paizo and then scanned them in...? Well , has anyone done this?

Are you asking whether you should use Paizo published maps in your hombrew game or whether it's possible to rip maps out of PDFs?
You can definitely just take screenshots of the maps in PDFs. I do it all the time.

Also, spellcasters, I have allowed some spells to be cast. I will continue to allow those, but you must have all of the components for ones that have not been casted already, unless you have eschew materials or originated from the divine.
No worries. Oslo has considered his spell list and specifically chose spells that he can cast without needed components or his holy symbol.
And no worries on the status spoilers. It has become a habit from other games that I have continued. It lets the GM know what abilities I still have available (spells are marked off with a © symbol to note cast.) I keep all of my character's status spoilers in a text document on my desktop and update it for myself as well before copy and pasting.
Just a point of clarification, an invisible character incurs a 50% miss chance unless the person attacking has blindsight or it is lessened by blind fight.

To be honest, I feel like I haven't really be a part of anything yet. I would rather meta-game a little and actually be involved than get bored and quit. Besides, this stuff happens all around the table all the time when groups get into a tough spot.

Stargate was a very popular sci-fi series that finished up 10 seasons just a few years ago.
Goa'uld were the split-mouthed snake-like parasites that possessed larger creatures to use like puppets. They were scientifically advanced due to their genetic memories, passed on from generation to generation. They lived many hundreds of years.

Dashuun - I am familiar only with the original movie (which I don't remember many details of), and the SNES game. Also I watched several episodes of Universe, but that got cancelled really quick.
