Mr. Touch looks to the heavily armored man and notes the quality of his armaments. " Ahh, My friend you seem to be from a well to do family, yes? Such armor iz zee mark of a noble or esteemed fighter, no?"
Kyle looks at Mr. Touch with a grin.
"The armor was actually spent from coin that I earned delving into dangerous places. But I am from a wealthy family.
well...used to be." Se spoke softly as he rubs one of his scars on his chin.
Mr Touch exaggerates an enthused look of interest to kyle as he inquires further. " Ohhh~ this sounds like a great story my friend. Were you of a great family who plummeted, yes? Or Did you do something to exile yourself? I, Mr. TOuch am most interested, Yes. "
Kyle smirks and continues to amuse the strange scorpion tamer. "The town I grew up in burned and massacred my whole family. I am the only survivor. My name is worthless to this world now, the only fame my name can hold is through fortune and glory. A real man's earning in life."
Percival shifts in his place, uncomfortably. Well, are w-we leaving soon?
Cinder walks up to Percival and relays what she'd heard about the forest, "It's said that the armies of Tsar are still residing in the forests of Hope. When I brought this up to the barkeep he didn't deny it, though skeptical of the idea."
Mr Touch also pipes up.. well says what he normally does, " Ahhh, zee last arrives! I have also heard wonderful talez of zee Forest of Hope. There iz a hermit who hates other spellcasters it says! Let us hope we do not encounter him, no? "
He turns to Kyle once more. " Well, you will either have fame... or not have to worry about fame my friend. Let us hope it iz the former, yes? "
"We should not waste much more time."
Vera calls out to the square, "Anyone whom is interested in joining our group in the exploration of the forest of hope is welcome to do so. Merely join us here by the well, we'll be departing in five minutes."

Mr. Touch waves his arms high trying to assist in the endevour. " Yes Yes Come one come all, We plan on exploring Zee Forest of Select Dooms, No? I mean Zee Forest of Hopez! "
Kyle walked up towards the well and sat down besides it. Leaning his back on the cold stone of the well, Kyle asked Vera,"Vera, is there some sort of temple of Orcus nearby? I was told rumors of there being one.". Perhaps knowing more of his surrounding would give Kyle the advantage of survival.
Nevaeh steps forward, keeping a modest distance from most of the group but her eyes on Vera. "I will go." Again her speech seems impaired.
Once sure no one was else was willing to brave the forest Vera calls out to everyone, "Okay group. Let's move out. Is anyone a tracker? Might be useful once we enter the forest."
"And no, Kyle I'm not aware of one."

Mr. Touch waves his arms expertly, " Ahh, Yes I am a tracker of sorts, no? We will be fine! "
I can t-too... Percival meakly raises his arm.
"Well good, two is better than one as they say. Shall we?" says Vera indicating into the forest.

The party travels for a few hours onto the forest.
Nothing makes a sound in here, no birds chirp, no scurrying of squirrels or other wildlife. Everything is still.
The grey skies only make the overcast of the trees even darker here in the forest, and you'd have a hard time telling if it was dusk already, though it's nearly noon.
Eventually you all come across a clearing of trees and find yourself at a small river.

" Chit.. Chitter.. Snap..."
Mr. Go moves forward though still sluggish, his ebony plating scrapping the other portions of his exoskeleton as he skitters along.
" Look! As Mr. Go is even excited, this must bode well for us, yes? "
Kyle kneeled down a couple feet from the riverbed. "I'm not sure if this water is healthy, I'd advise your little friend there to avoid it until we are sure. Or perhaps he can be the tester?" Kyle spoke lifting his fingers to hault the group. Turning his head towards Mr. Touch he says with a smirk. "I kid of coarse."
Percival sticks his slimy finger into the ground and pulls out a worm like thing and then places it on Kyles hand. He then takes a step back and says. Thats a Suckius u Bloodieous or in common tongue... A leech.
Mr Touch smiles letting the man seem as though he is well versed in such things, more concerned at the fact there is a river in the way. The sound could mask an enemy easily.
Cindra watches the showdown of smarts between Kyle and Percival, Smiling and giggling in the slightest. Walking over and perching beside Kyle and Pervival "You know, Percival?,... I do believe that the species is indigenous to moist and phospherous covers environments, (usually bull crap), and derives from the Driveleous Lectureous Her face now beaming with sarcasm, but a serousness when conveyed at Kyle almost with a unison with Percival. She would then give another giggle and stand back up.
Looking back at Percival, "Can I just call you Percy?"
You can call me Percival... For that is my name. Percival looks quizzically at Cíñdrâ.
"what a shame" Cíñdrâ gives a playfully let down look at Percy, "I thought it would be fun,... oh well"
She would look around, most likely in the same direction of Mr Touch after realizing him scanning the area intensely.
"See anything or anyone of concern Missier?"
The clearing and river seems innocent enough. Thus far, the Forest of Hope, while gloomy, has yet to try to tear you limb from limb.

" Ahh, it seemz clear and the sky blue in Katapesh, yes!? Then we cross and got further, Yes! The water should not be too hard for a man in armor. "
Mr. Touch gives a beaming smile.
Kyle looked at his hand, then he looked back at Percival, then back to his hand, and then back at Percival again. A bit confused as to why he would just put a leech on him. But Kyle did not mind as he just simply ripped it off then proceeded to lick the blood while looking provocatively at Percival.
Percival joins in with Kyles provocative licking.
Mr Touch looks between the two men then bumps into Cíñdrâ " It seems love is blossoming between the two, no? " He says in a faux-whisper.

"I am surprised, I sensed the flower was ripe with this one,..." She slightly nods towards Kyle, "...However never did I imagine it was to this extent." She would softly giggle, laughing it off with Mr Touch.
Mr Touch gives a wide grin and a twist of his stache'
" Well zen I suppose we should continue on lezz it gets too 'hot' for zem? It would seem the armored one should cool off in the water, no? "
Mr Touch chuckles before getting slightly serious, " I kid, I kid.. though seriously you should keep your blade out just in case, Friend Kyle. "
Cíñdrâ nods her head in agreement, taking out her longspear. "I couldn't agree more."

"Let's not tarry too long, best get moving again." says Vera.
"This seems like a good place to camp for the night if it comes to it though. So we should leave a trail for us to get back to here."
"I know a spell that can do this for us, but in order for it to work I have to know something about you."

Kyle gave everyone a grin as he drew his sword, the thought of using it excited him. "So let's start crossing the river!"
Kyle turned to Vera, "I have stated before that I used to be royalty. That is something that not many know."

Nevaeh, still skirting the others steps up and removes her mask, revealing her scarred and cursed wolfish snout. Assuming that would suffice, she donned her mask. "My father was victim to lycanthropy when i was young. I am unsure to this day how I survived. With this."
Mr. Touch wave his hands high into the air in faux surprise. Eventually that swirls into a flourish of colors as they settle back into a cupped stance. " Aha! And no it iz that we know much about each other, Yes? I assume Miss Moonzeer does not bite.. too hard, no? "
Vera seems taken aback by the newest secret revealed to her, but quickly composes herself and weaves her magic.
When finished each if you begin to glow a slight hue of silver.
"This will keep us from getting lost by being able to follow ourselves back to this point."
"We should get moving again, shall we?"
As Vera walks off, a silver trail of floating rose petals is left in her wake.

Once more Mr. Go stays to the front with Kyle while Mr. Touch makes small talk with Cíñdrâ every so often he stares at the Moonseer but smiles.
Her expression was once again hidden, but the humor in her tone and her amber eyes could not be missed. "I bite as hard as the occasion calls for, sir."
Mr. Touch raises both eyebrows and mimics patting his head from heat. And this wasnt from the friendly Ifrit.
The party soon finds a stone walkway leading through the forest, which begins to give way into a swamp.
You can just make off on the hazy horizon that further into the swamp lies the silhouette of a very large structure.
