Before we choose who's doing the check/aid, does the rule of everyone with a chance rolls and the highest leads apply here in Starfinder?

As much as I wish that language would come over to Starfinder, at the present it's not - so one person should declare they are the "lead" and then two people can aid. A compromise I'm totally willing to make since this is a PbP is that anyone who wants to aid can roll, and I'll accept the two highest results, but the "lead" roller has to be declared in advance.

Slight backtrack...

There is indeed loud scraping as the hull of the Loreseeker is torn in some places by the docking "maneuver" (to quote Eddie Izzard, "more of a gesture, really"), and the ship takes damage, but none of it critical to life support, propulsion, or drift engines, and so you can proceed with your mission.

That said, your characters will find yourselves wondering now that if a slow collision could rend the hull of your ship...how bad would a more high-velocity impact be? (*evil GM grin*)

...Backtrack over!

Shiohn braces herself during the rough docking and glances over at their struggling pilot. Once the ship is steady, she activates the protections on her suit and makes her way over to the Endless Threnody's computers. "Well...we will see if I can do anything using this terminal. This is my first experience with a ship of this type. Does anyone else want to come and take a look with me?" (Referencing the 2 people who want to aid, looks like Kitkul and Kima)

Given what Shiohn rolled, the second aid-another won't change the result, so I'm going to move us along

Shiohn starts working at the terminal with Kitkul providing guidance, and you can all feel the ship's vibrations slow down, as if some (but not all) of the necromantic energy were no longer flowing.

GM Eyes only:
Hey! You're not supposed to be reading this! But if you already are...and want to own up to it in a fun way (I won't be mad, honest), add the word "strawberry" to your next in-character post! :P

1: 1d4 ⇒ 4
2: 1d4 ⇒ 2

After that single access by Shiohn, the terminal loses power, and you are forced to delve deeper inside the ship. Three doors exit the cargo bay. Opening one seems to open them all, and you begin to step through the central one.

The branching corridors inside the Endless Threnody are not made of solid bulkheads of metal and plastic, but of a lattice of enchanted bone and steel. A metal grating on the floor provides stable footing, but the walls have gaps large enough to fit a fist. The passages split and recombine in a manner eerily reminiscent of being inside a giant rib cage.

Down the central corridor, you can see a few computer terminals, similar to the one in the cargo bay, still have blinking lights...but the thing that attracts your attention the most is the sight of Skeletal crew members starting to rush towards you!!!

To move from "B" on the left side of the map to "A" or "C" costs one move action. To move from "A" to "C" (and vice versa) is a double-move unless your speed is 50 or greater (then it's a single move action). There are enough gaps that you can see this entire area, but you cannot shoot anything "through" the blank/black sections of the map.

You converge on the sole skeletal crewman remaining, and Kitkul is able to get off the finishing blow to destroy it! You are now out of combat!

After taking stock of the main corridors of the ship, you make your way to the only remaining door.

The bridge of the Endless Threnody is located behind the enormous crimson eye at the front of the ship, bathed in a blood-red glow. The crew stations are fabricated from bone and steel, apparently grown from the floor and walls of this room. Battle damage is evident throughout the bridge, but it is now empty and utterly silent—truly a ghost ship.

In order to pull the data Venture Captain Arvin wants you to find, you'll need to access their computer records, and then bypass the secure data partitions.

For these checks, you may use Computers or Mysticism.
Since this is PbP, I am going to use the method that appears in a lot of scenarios - whoever rolls highest will be the "primary" and anyone else who beats a 10 will "aid another" - multiple people can attempt these checks on their own, but who knows what security protocols the undead may have left in their wake?

Please state which check is which when you roll - Access the system or Bypass security!

Yes, attempting both is totally allowed - they just have different DCs is all. I probably should have been more clear about that lol.

With Kima leading the way, you are able to access the Corpse Fleet systems, and then Zez'ka is able to bypass their internal security protocols that would have sent necromantic-cold energy pulsing through the bridge!

You find telemetry data that includes information about the Lawblight, a Besmaran pirate ship that initially crippled the Endless Threnody. In addition, you discover the coordinates of the downed Starfinder vessel on a planet called Ulmarid in the Vast!

When you return to the Loreseeker with the coordinates, you find the hologram of Venture-Captain Arvin already active and awaiting your report. Arvin is grateful for the news and eager to get started on the next step of your quest. He asks the you to leave the Endless Threnody and return to Absalom Station while he researches the planet Ulmarid and how best to approach it.

As an additional reward, Arvin provides a password to open a concealed compartment within the Loreseeker that contains delicacies that are suitable to most palates, such as sticks of candied meats. “I know this mission isn’t yet complete,” he explains, “but you’ve earned the right to celebrate a bit on your return trip. I asked the quartermaster to include a few delicacies so you can enjoy being alive—after an encounter with the dead.”

You have completed Quest 3 of 5: "Boarding" - Quest 4 will begin shortly!

After returning to Absalom Station, Venture Captain Arvin dispatches you in a new Drake-class vessel called the Odyssey (Ship info here). Venture-Captain Arvin recommended the Odyssey rather than the Loreseeker, as its heavier shields can better withstand asteroid impacts while reaching Ulmarid’s surface through the asteroid field that surrounds the planet.

With no Drift-capable communications beacon in range, Venture-Captain Arvin’s pre-recorded hologram stands on the bridge of the Odyssey, his hands clasped behind his back. “Hopefully your journey was uneventful. Based on your previous mission, we’ve obtained information about the planet of Ulmarid. The desert world has breathable atmosphere but is devoid of intelligent civilization. A cloud of asteroids—leftovers from a collision of the planet’s moons long ago—surrounds the planet, so you must carefully navigate the Odyssey to the surface to find the crashed Unbounded Wayfarer.

“Be sure to bring the Starfinder insignias with you; they will be critical in recovering the information the Starfinders left behind. If you can recover any of the lost Starfinders—alive or dead—please do so as well. Good luck.”

Computers DC 15 for anyone on board to see if you could learn about Ulmarid from the infosphere prior to your arrival:
You have confirmed what Arvin told you, plus learned that Ulmarid’s atmosphere experiences sudden and ferocious storms of poisonous crystals.

Salamander, please make a Piloting check to navigate the asteroid field. As Captain, Kima can make the normal check to try and encourage. Also, Zez'ka can, from the science officer station, make a Computers check to try and scan the field for possible dangers.

Feel free to make Computer checks for the info in the above-spoiler whenever you'd like, but to keep us moving along...

Salamander is able to easily navigate the asteroids, and all of you get a good look at how tightly packed they are - a collision with one of those would be very bad for your ship!

You are able to track the distress beacon emanating from the Unbounded Wayfarer, but the ship is not easy to reach. It crashed amid dunes too soft to safely bear the Odyssey’s weight, and the safest place to set down is about a half-hour’s walk away.

The surface of Ulmarid is a wind-scoured desert with jagged protrusions of rock thrusting up through the sand. The air has a harsh tang, like burning metal.

Survival Check DC 15:
Even though the sky looks clear, the smell indicates to you that a sudden storm of poisonous crystals, congealed from the air, is impending!

For making a DC 15 check, you get a +4 on reflex saving throws during the storm! For every 2 by which you exceeded 15 (17, 19, 21, etc.) you can bestow this bonus to one other character.
