Dromichaetes |

Dromichaetes will affix the microbead and keep listening for any activity on that channel.
Turning to the others:
"The preset channel on this microbead is unresponsive. I will continue to listen, just in case. Let us proceed to the Imperial vessel."

Dagon the Unworthy |

Dagon nods his appreciation for Dromichaetes aid. He picks up the plasma gun of the gunner he had killed. He picks up the plasma gun of the gunner Dromichaetes had killed and hands it to the Iron Warrior.
"Agreed, I'd like to get a better estimate of it and it's crew."

Lorg |

"Let me have a look at that micrbead. I think I might have a way of locating our new friends."
Lorg will pull out his Fallen Mago Power Axe and use it to attempt to trace the signal.

Let us see what the newcomer will do.
Dromichaetes will hand over the microbead, while noting the frequency it was set to and any other features of the microbead.

GM pauly |

The range of this pattern of micro bead is severely hampered within the metallic structure of the star ship.
The device has basic encryption but nothing advanced.
There is nothing to track without a continuous signal and you would need to use a more advanced vox system.
You will find the plasma guns to be operating as desired.
The members of the salvage team will pipe up.
"Sirs, is the way clear?"

Lorg |

"Cease your mewing you pathetic bags of flesh, I'm trying to concentrate."
Turning to Dromichaetes.
"My vox caster can trace this signal but we need an open channel. I'm going to make contact with them."
Into the micro bead.
"You are blessed to hear the voice of Lorg the Magnificent. Is anyone listening?"

Dromichaetes |

Dromichaetes takes note of the factors impeding the microbead's performance. He then motions for the salvage crew to move with a short distance away from Lorg, before speaking.
"Yes. We have slain many slaves of the xenos filth. Now, how best shall we contact your home vessel so we may all reach it?"

Dromichaetes |

"Lorg, should you get a response, return the microbead to me."
Dromichaetes says this as he hands Dagon's plasma gun back to him, along with half of any spare canisters they retrieved from the cultists.

Lorg |

Lorg hands the micro bead back.
"Their somewhere in that direction" Lorg says gesturing in the direction of where they left the shuttle bay from.
Into the micro bead.
"Well then perhaps you can just tell me a bit about yourself. Right now some of your men have suffered some kind of shuttle accident and they need medical attention. I'd be happy to help them but first I want to know who I am helping"

GM pauly |

Lorg gets a response.
"I find that highly unlikely my lord, my commander will address you in a moment. Our prey is just being a little enthusiastic about living. Thank you for your patience."
You can hear the sound of a chain weapon cutting through flesh but the general sounds of combat have died off.

To the rest of the chaos marines.
"Has anyone heard of the Last cry of the Dammed?"
Lorg will follow after Dagon.
"I have. Have you ever heard that it's rude to keep someone waiting".

Dromichaetes |

Dromichaetes, seeing that the man is starting to babble, lets go of his shoulder.
"You have clearly been of as much use as you are capable of. We will depart now and meet your captain."
Dromichaetes then begins to climb up to the gantry.

Lorg |

To the chaos marines.
"I've been talking to Lord Anisan, Master of Arms on the Last cry of the Dammed. He wants us to deal with his genstealer problem and wants us to meet him in the reactor room, wherever that is, to discuss terms."
Into the vox-caster:
"I agree. Forward the location of this reactor room and I will go there"

Dagon the Unworthy |

"It would give him a reason to trust us before the inevitable betrayal... or forcing the issue now prevents betrayal on his part. What way are ye inclined, I can see merit to both."

Dromichaetes |

Dromichaetes tells the others:
"If they are a legitimate dynasty, then they are one founded after our indisposition. It is also possible that they are true rogues, pirates or outlaws. Either way, we need to ensure that they do not get to cause us problems. Lorg, do you have the equipment for vox jamming? It may be useful to ensure that no enemy of ours gets to call for aid."

GM pauly |

Lorg gets a response.
"This is signaller Jobe again, if you leave the cargo bay the way we left and continue on you'll walk right into the upper section of the ships barracks. There is a vented lighter bay beneath it. The enginerium is sign posted from there. Ping me if you need directions. Goodluck my lords."

Dromichaetes |

"Dagon, there are indeed merits to both approaches. We should attempt to reach this Lord Anisan first, so we can immediately assess whether he will be cooperative or not. If we must fight through genestealers, then we will do that."

Dagon the Unworthy |

Using the groups vox frequency. <Perhaps ye should start climbing then before he is devoured by xenos and anything of value is pilfered. The salvage crew is of limited use and will only slow us down, killing them should be considered. There skulls and are meager offerings but still have some value for the Blood God.> Dagon starts examining the heading down the way that the previous group went but takes his time so the others can catch up.

GM pauly |

After negotiating your way forward for a time you find the corridor ahead blocked. You're standing in front of an airlock spanning the corridor. It looks to have been recently installed with clean weld lines left unpainted.
You don't recall this being mentioned in the directions given to you by Signaller Jobe.
The airlock is powered and continually reminds you of it's presence.
""beep ... beep ... beep"

Lorg |

"That insolent cur Jobe lied to us. When we find him I will cut his face off and wear it as a hat."
Lorg roughly grabs his servo skull.
"Screams I want you to scan for any warp energy, prove to me that your more useful in death than in life. I suspect a trap"

Lorg's servo skull responds in Low Gothic with a little contempt.
"My apologies master but I haven't found anything. Please forgive my abilities for I am only as good as my maker could make me."
Possible rolls.
You are able to pull diagnostic logs out of the airlock's control module.
It was installed less than a week ago.
The atmosphere beyond seems to be leaking out of the ship at a steady rate.
It's not a vacuum but it's not ideal without protection.
This is a bit far into the ship.

Dagon the Unworthy |

Dagon tries to examine the area but finds little beyond the obvious. "This infernal machinery was repaired by a madman, I can't see reason to it. We are quite far into the ship now and this construction is new. We could try and force our way through."

GM pauly |

The group assesses the airlock.
First Dagon walks forward while Lorg has a domestic with his servo skull. Dagon is unable to access the control module beyond basic functionality.
Dagon says:
"This infernal machinery was repaired by a madman, I can't see reason to it. We are quite far into the ship now and this construction is new. We could try and force our way through."
Next Lorg walks forward having left the last word to his servo skull. He is able pull the diagnostic logs from the airlock's control module.
Lorg says:
"This door was installed a week ago, we should open it carefully to avoid explosive decompression and proceed"
40 minutes has passed when an impatient Dromichaetes walks forward demanding compliance. He invades the control module with a tendril from his wrist MIU. He is able to pull the diagnostic logs from the control module after a short 5 minutes.
Dromichaetes says:
"I seek control, and any maps available."
None of you find anything that would prevent you operating the airlock normally and passing through.

Dromichaetes |

"The airlock appears normal. I imagine that any treachery is either incredibly well concealed - or simply not via the airlock door itself. I am opening it now."
And Dromichaetes proceeds to do just that.

GM pauly |

Dromichaetes opens the airlock.
Dromichaetes says
"The airlock appears normal. I imagine that any treachery is either incredibly well concealed - or simply not via the airlock door itself. I am opening it now."
The airlock takes 8 minutes to cycle before the door opens. The space inside is large enough to fit the group comfortably.

Dagon the Unworthy |

Dagon examines the new area before entering. Is there anything unusual or of note with it.
This is the airlock yes not the other side?
