Grim Jr. wrote:"don't know," grim jr says in between bites of his burger" I hope so, sounds like fun, espically that last one, im pretty good at that, the shadows like me, but when I was talking to the necromancy teacher, I kinda got the fealing that the younger students have to take more basic classes generally, but I could be wrong" he eats another bite and finds himself nearly done."Oh, I see." Midori doesn't sound dissapointed, but rather, curious. As if to say, 'what could be more basic'? She continues to move her food into her mouth in a polite, reserved fashion, chewing quietly, the young lady very demure. "Are you a necromancer, Grim-senpai?"
grim chokes slightly on his food "er yes I guess you could say that"

Tyrrin Denulia |

Ghalen follows Tyrrin's instructions, and gently sets down outside of the restraunt. He hops out, and moves around to get Tyrrin's door for her and help her out, then offers his arm to take her inside.
Once again, Tyrrin takes Ghalen's arm almost mechanically, as if such a gesture was expected, the unlikely pair make their way into the restaurant.
The place is definitely upscale - both have seen better dining in their days, but for a burgeoning town such as Kuros, it is quite nice. A host greets them at the door, leading them to a table which is somewhat private, in a small room of it's own, though there is no door sperating it from the rest of the establishment.
"What will the Lady start with?" the waiter who arrives prompty is well-dressed, with just the right amount of pomp to put Tyrrin at her ease. "Red wine, please. Don't skimp, bring me a bottle of your finest for us to share." The waiter looks momentarily worried, and clears his throat before saying: "Pardon me Madame, but our finest bottle is 50 gold pieces." To which Tyrrin gives a withering look. "Is that all? Pity." the waiter takes the hint and leaves to fetch their drinks.
"I hope you don't mind red wine?"

Midori Tsuyomi |

grim chokes slightly on his food "er yes I guess you could say that"
"I understand." Midori says softly, looking pensive. Her black hair is still tied back in the ponytail. She seems to be focusing somewhat intently on her food. Suddenly, her plate and all the sushi on it transform into metal, as well as Grim's plate, and Midori's pensive look breaks suddenly. "Oops! Sorry, I lost control for a moment! Let me fix that." she focuses again, trying to return the plates and food back to their original state. Then the whole table turns from wood to steel, with a noise of wood groaning. "Um!!" Midori says, somewhat alarmed now. Her horn is glowing, and seems to be getting brighter.

Phaezeriel |

As Sadie turns, she spots Kaze flying up behind them. The look on his face isn't a pleasant one, and she realizes what he has planned a little too late to react... and with a movement of his hand, suddenly all three of the trio are gasping for breath.

On my mom's side....that's the grandpa I was talking about. Sometimes when the shop got really busy Ursula and I would get sent to stay with grandma and grandpa for a few days. Grandpa used to be a soldier and I guess he was in charge of training the messenger pigeons that they used. So even though he was retired he still kept a few pigeons up on the roof in a special house he built for them. He's probably the only person in my family who never really got impatient with me. He didn't mind about all of the accidents. He just always stayed calm and when it got too bad he'd ask if I wanted to go watch the birds and we'd all have a couple hours of peace and quiet.""Well, it sounds as if he found a way to bring you peace.. perhaps he knew of what was happening. Is he still at his house? Perhaps word can be sent, or a visit."
The food in front of her was nearly all gone, but she did not mind, each time they talked further, she was starting to paint something of an understanding on this person, Bradley.
At the very least, as well, she had company too. It dawned on her for a moment, and a soft smile formed on her face for it. Bradley certainly wasn't like the others, all haste and rush, asserting themselves. It struck her as ..refreshing.
Bradley looked sad. "My grandpa died a couple years ago. I miss him," he said simply.

"Some boy attacked us! In Sifu Daiyu's classroom." Vai sobs, still trying to spit out blood from her mouth, trying to get her sobs under control at the same time. "I'm fine, I sent him to the infirmary... They're going to be okay right?" Vai seemed worried about more than Sadie and Dara... a worry which isn't contained very well. She's a little hysterical. "Why did I enjoy that so much?! Mom, I.... I really liked the taste of his blood, the feel of crunching down on him... what's wrong with me?" the last phrase squeaks out of her.
Sorry folks, fell asleep writing the last response. Dangers of posting from bed I suppose!
"They're going to be fine. Minor oxygen deprivation, they're already getting better. You were right to bring them here. You said the boy attacked you. In what way?"
She put her hands on Vai's shoulders. "Calm down, sweetie. Take deep breaths. Draconic instincts can be powerful in a life-threatening situation. Learning to overcme them is not always easy. I need you to tell me as calmly as possible exactly what happened."

Alot of the young people at the Sun are sick of the old ways - myself included. But... I dunno." At the very least, the quasi-political discussion seems to have pulled Ardiente's worries away from himself and his family and perhaps towards more familiar ground for him."Killing him doesn't accomplish anything. There's more just like him. Including my mother who would inherit his seat on the council."
"The thing is...where does the council get its power from? Think about it. Everyone does what they say because they agree that the council was in charge....but what if people stop doing what the council says? In small numbers they just end up punished or abjured....but in large enough numbers.....maybe new laws and a new council can be made....But all of that only works if we get there peacefully. And it's not going to be a slow process. I know it's something that Dad has been working on for a long time."

"OK Dom, we need to cast a series of spells here. A spell to shatter enchantments, one to rid her of the the disease aspect, and one to rid her of the curse aspect. Her affliction will probably resist our attempts. Which of these can you handle?"
He smiles at Ginni "I told you I'd figure something out. This should work sweety." He says, giving her hug.
"It would be best if I removed the disease since I would have to use magic for the curse or enchantment. I'm pretty sure I'm out classed in magic between you, Tamina, and Ginni. Let me get a few buckets first I will need a lot of fresh water for this." Dom dashes over to a few buckets and washes them in a near by sink. One he fills with water while the second is left empty.

Bradley looked sad. "My grandpa died a couple years ago. I miss him," he said simply.
Having just finished the last of her sushi, Anahita was in mid-sip of her water when Bradley informs her of his grandfather's passing.
"You have my sympathies for your loss." A moment of thought crossing her mind as she dwells on something quietly, though not the trance like lack of attention as previously. Just a human being thinking for a few moments.
Glancing around, Anahita then returns her attention back to Bradley and asks, "So, I presume that you have a schedule of classes, what are they? I will inquire with the Headmaster tomorrow, since I suspect that the hour may easily place him outside of his duties, it has gotten onto evening. Then perhaps, we can arrange to meet and discuss next steps, if any."
More water is consumed, while she sits there occasionally glancing about, her attention seems to stray without something to focus on.

Eventually, Ehos does in fact get up, if only to retrieve the datapad so he can 'talk' to Jaiye. She wasn't exactly one for modesty, but they had a blanket on just so they didn't catch a chill. Ehos makes with the pillow talk for a bit, before moving on to more practical matters...
'So, you were in a hurry to leave the dining hall, hungry again yet?' the scarf is still around his neck, so Jaiye can see his smirk. He was, of course, teasing her.
She grinned. "Starving. But that was definitely worth missing a meal over."
"Hmm...I suppose we should go get some snacks at least, but that involves getting dressed," she added with a mock-pout.

"Would you hurry it up? What took you so long anyways? And it better not be because you stopped to be a jerk to that red-haired chick again."
"No," the young firebird said sullenly trailing after the older boy. "She wasn't even around today."
"Good, because the last thing I need to deal with is spending all this time training with you and then having you grounded because you cheesed off the boss by insulting his sister. Again. There are easier ways to tell a girl you like her, you know."
Mithros sputtered. "I don't...I mean why would you...that's not...harrumph. I don't see you doing any better!"
"I don't have anyone I feel that way about," he said calmly. That seemed to be the trick to dealing with Mithros without actually killing him. Just stay calm no matter how irritating he was. "I never have. Maybe I'll make half as much of an idiot of myself as you if I ever do, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
"You're joking right? Really? You've never even had a crush on anyone?"
"Nope."
"Man, you're even more of a freak than I thought!"

Of course, when it came down to it, her children's heritage was....a bit confusing really. But still....
She loved this quiet time at the end of the day when it was just her and them. She really was going to have to talk to Krays about names. Somehow they just kept putting it off.

"O-okay Mom." Vai says, taking a deep breath, still tasting blood in her mouth. The fact that she was still enjoying it was sickening to her. "We were in Sifu Daiyu's classroom, I told Sadie and Dara I would take them out flying. We had just taken off when I felt like all the air was ripped out of my lungs. It was hard to get any back in at all, I almost passed out too. I saw a... boy there. He looked happy, but also cruel. I teleported and... I almost crunched him in half." there's a worrying note of pride and aggression in Vai's voice as she recounts her victory. "Then I realized that I had lost Sadie and Dara, so I caught them and teleported us here." she finishes, and then spits more blood out onto the lab floor.

Ardiente suddenly goes pale. "Fieri... you father's parents. I've sworn oaths to serve them... if they call for me, I have to answer. I am bound." Fieri knows exactly what Ardiente means: lower housed retainers were often forced to take magical oaths which would ensure their loyalty. Typically, breaking such an oath has horrible consequences for the oathbreaker - death, powerful curses, or other forms of 'encouragement' to keep the lower houses in line.
Hopefully that's alright Lyn? I imagine Firebirds would go to such extreme lengths... I can change it though.

"Did you recognize him?"
Vai shakes her head, gratefully taking the glass of water. "I think I've seen him around a couple times, but I don't know who he is."
She takes a gulp of the water, washing the blood down, and shudders, though weather from pleasure or revulsion is a question to which even Vai isn't completely sure of the answer.
