::Well, no, I'm not sure. It's possible the watch got mixed up. I don't know. All I know is he won't let me into the tower. Anyways, I'm going to go take a nap now. I have a couple of hours before the next thing. Maybe a little more sleep will help things make better sense.::

Ryuzo seems to flicker a bit and become slightly translucent, and as he just stands there, the rocks just pass through him.
"Didn't say it... was cheating... Don't mind me." Michael says as he scrambles away from another boulder and stands up.
"Nice moves Micheal! Reminds me of monkey style..."
Ryuzo changes his strategy, rolling around on the floor, kiping up and rolling around the stones as they come, using exagerated monkey like animated movements

Looking around and seeing that there is no one else in the hallway, Taron walks through a doorway and ends up in his uncle's kitchen. He grabs a snack and then starts looking for Ryleh.
Ryleh is sitting at a table with an array of crystals in front of her, sipping a cup of tea.
"Ah, Taron. Please don't tell your uncle. I have been very good about following his rules on scrying until now, but with all of you in so much danger, I felt it necessary to get out all of your individual crystals again. I'm not spying on anyone who isn't family. Mostly on your sister. She's a disaster waiting to happen right now."

"Didn't he put you on security detail once? Don't worry about it. I've got secrets too." Taron bites into his snack and swallows before continuing. "Anyway, since you've been scrying Phebes, and she has sent me as a sort of ambassador between you and her, what do you think of the note she got from the little watch?"

Michael laughs as he watches Ryuzo monkey around. This guy was pretty cool.
"Not trying to look like a monkey, buy hey, if it keeps me from getting hit I might as well keep it up!"

"She asked him for help with training earlier. It seemed like an odd conversation. And I had heard that they did not get along, but apparently that was incorrect." She shrugged. "I am concerned, perhaps overly so, but Ephebe does not always have the best judgement when it comes to the people around her. So I was curious if you knew anything about him."
"I can have Ammy spy on him if you don't have a scry mirror tuned specifically to him already. Ryo trusts him though, and until something changes that's enough for me."
"Of course, now you're probably going to tell me about Ryo's poor judgment."

"Where do I even start," she said dryly. "The frightening part is that he seems to have better judgement than Ephebe."
"And I would appreciate the information. Breaking the rules to keep an eye on family is one thing. I don't want to start a family quarrel over spying on one of Ryo's family members. So make sure you don't get caught either," she said with a small smile.
"I'm just being protective of my sister and looking out for her, how could that get me in trouble?" Taron says with a smirk. "I did offer my help to her too."
"You do remember that your sister is a magnet for trouble right? I don't know what happened. She used to be such a sweet well-behaved girl."
"Now, I have some things that I need to do, including putting together another book for my errant pupil, so why don't you go tell your Uncle Keaton that Solivala is asking to speak with him. Perhaps he can work out what's going on. We should leave Ephebe be for now. She clearly needs that nap."
"Hey, good job, Michael! You made it through class with no major injuries! You're a really fast learner," she said with a cheerful smile before heading off to the locker room to change.
"Grandma, we're all magnets for trouble. Comes with being a dragon." Taron finishes off his snack and stands up, ready to leave. "At least it's not a boring life. I'll go see if I can find Keaton. See ya later, Grandma."
With a wave, Taron walks back toward the kitchen and ends up in his room. He laughs when he sees the ectoplasm has been piled high on his bed, and heads off in search of his younger uncle.
"Hey, good job, Michael! You made it through class with no major injuries! You're a really fast learner," she said with a cheerful smile before heading off to the locker room to change.
"Giant flying boulders will do that." Michael says with a grin as he goes to get changed too. No bruises, contusions, or dislocations, so this was a pretty good class. Sure, he ached, his pulse was pounding, and his lungs hurt, but it was still fun. Yep, definitely going crazy.
'"Sorry about the wait," she said apologetically to Gaelvin. "The headmaster is very busy. He's probably off dealig with some crisis or other."
Ephebe curled up in a corner of the practice room and dropped off to sleep imediately. It wasn't the safest place for a nap but she was pretty sure it was safer than the infirmary.
"Actually," Headmaster Ryo says as he opens the door, "I had to figure out why there were rhinos in Runes 101. Turns out Jiminy put them there to keep students safe. Now, what can I do to help you?"

Jiminy ran his hand through his hair as he patrolled the hall looking for the insitgator of this latest prank. Except it wasn't much of a prank. People could really have gotten hurt. He had a bad feeling the Hunters were behind this.
Geez, when had this happened? If he kept on at this rate he'd lose his carefully crafted reputation. Worse, he might end up as a teacher. He banged his head against the wall, trying to drive that horrible thought away.

"Sorry to bother you, Headmaster. I know you're very busy. This is Gaelvin. He's a visitor, and he was hoping to be granted permission to stay here, and also to use the library."
"It's no problem. It's actually a nice change of pace to not have to worry about a new transfer student. As long as he doesn't cause any trouble, I see no reason why he can't stay. Welcome to Avalon, Gaelvin."
"Yet another person to do a background check on though." Ryo thinks.
Jiminy knocked on the door briefly before entering the room.
"I can't find where the chalk came from. The summoners club swears they used normal chalk. Anyways, I'm not looking into it any further. Except that someone used the distraction to swipe a bunch of stuff from the magical supply cupboard. And that's as responsible as I'm willing to be for today."
"Speak of the prankster and he shall appear." Ryo jokes. "It's okay, James, you skipped a class without asking, so you weren't being that responsible. I'll have a list of what is missing made up so we can try to figure what it was taken for."
Jiminy hands him the list.
"Yeah, I already did that. Also, I'm going to be in the lab for the rest of today," he said, sulkily. "And I'm not responsible!" he added before stalking out.
She giggled. "Poor Jiminy."
"Poor us, if he decides to prove how irresponsible he is. Anyway, I'm sure we can find a place Gaelvin here at Avalon, we never have a shortage of rooms." A screen appears in mid-air next to Ryo and brings up a map of the school. "No need to make a room today. One just opened up to hallways away from the library. Will that work for you?" He asks Gaelvin.
"So," Michael asks when he sees Kitty again, "how did Saffire like the locker?"

"He peed all over my shoes," she said dejectedly, holding the soaked smelly footwear in one hand while Saffire speaked defiantly from her shoulder.

"Oh, um..." Michael says as he tries to hold back a laugh. "I guess urine need of new shoes?" He sighs a moment later and holds his hands up in surrender. "That was an extremely bad pun, and I apologize."
She laughed. "No it's alright. It is kind of funny I guess. But I'm not sure what I should do to clean them out. It's really gross."

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but Ephebe asked for my help and I ended up looking for you. Grandma thinks a guy named Solivala wants to see both you and Ephebe. Just not right now, since she's taking a much needed nap."
"I see. I've been meaning to talk to Ephebe again anyway."
"About your decision?"
"How do you know about that?"
"Telepathic triplet, remember? Somethings bleed over every now and then if you aren't being careful. Don't worry, I haven't told anyone."
"I'll go wait for her in the library then. Have a nice day, Taron." Keaton says as he melts into the shadows and leaves the attic.
"You too, Uncle." Taron says, knowing his uncle is already gone. He looks around and decides to spend his time going through all the boxes in the attic. Who knows, maybe there is something interesting up here.
